Do you think this could be Peridot?

Picked this up for cheap at an estate sale, and I'm just curious. I assumed it was glass, but it has more depth/nuance than I would've expected(but I'm a newbie so I literally know nothing). No marks or other identifying features. I plan to keep it either way. My wedding ring and my grandmother's ring are diamond/emerald, so I kinda collect green rings now. Thanks in advance!

Found this on the curb yesterday

It was in a pile of garbage on the curb, so it was definitely free game. I did have to scrub it a lot, sanded it a little, and then stained and sealed it. I feel so, so lucky! I plan to keep it and use it to store our board games.

My new baby 🖤

My new violin! As far as I know, she is an 1800s Stradivarius copy made in Germany. I am a person who took lessons and played violin(and fiddle style on the side) for many years through my late teens, but quit due to lots of life happening. I am now 27yo, and I've been getting back into my childhood passions. I'm in love! I did play a little of Nothing Else Matters(Metallica) today, but I don't have a chinrest, so I had to stop pretty quickly because I didn't want to get into bad form right off the bat, and it was also kinda painful. Gonna go get one first thing tomorrow! If anyone has any insights or has tips, I'd love to hear them as well.

The most vibrant roses I've ever had

I'm a big plant person! I have 157 indoor plants, around 25 potted outdoor plants, and this is the first year I've really paid attention to the roses and garden bed flowers at my house. My husband takes great care of them as far as pruning and pest control. These roses have come up so vibrant, it's unreal. No filter on these photos. Sponsor me or somethin Fox Farms

What would you name this? Bonus points if you give me your impression or interpretation of it

Just something I painted recently for someone dear to me who was named Ruth(cuz of the flower's name). I included some photos of the flowers at the end so you don't have to Google. They grow into the sides of rocks, and that was just such a great metaphor for my Ruth's personality and life story. I am new to this, still actively learning the basics, and I'm totally cool with critique or tips

Just something I painted recently for someone dear to me who was named Ruth. I'm new to painting, so I just wanna see what people think of this, good or bad. I have total aphantasia, so I never really plan out what I'll paint exactly, I just get an idea and decide how to carry it out as I'm painting(that may be evident lol). I included some photos of the flowers at the end so you don't have to Google. They grow into the sides of rocks, and that was just such a great metaphor for my Ruth's personality and life story. If you don't like it, what can I do better next time? It's not sealed, so I can definitely still adjust things if I want.
