Yes, I know Japan is trying to prevent counterfeits by accepting only from residents. But these I bought myself from retail store.

I guess there is nothing to lose other than maybe can’t return your new phone because return policy expired by the time they evaluate your trade in.

Also some of the trade in questions make no sense. It says “verify the decide screen…” and then talks about non-screen issues of the phone like the body…..
