Halfway off-topic

Due to a discussion i have in another subreddit:

Is it possible to grow/plant a tree with about a 4.5m high trunk, about 8m total hight, and 3-4m diameter of the crown in a 1m³ pot in a way that the roots won't push through the pot or plaster that's put over it? Would it survive? [Edited cause of unclear info]

Is this slime mold?

Hey folks, i have some apple tree leafes in my isopod enclosure. They're from my granddads apple trees. I had some in there before (boiled them 5mins) and seeing these tiny hairs with ball on them. So i removed them, baked everything off (80°C for 40mins) and threw them in again. Now, a week later i see these bobbles again on them. But only on the green-dry apple leafes. Is this slimemold? Or something similar? How did it survive boiling AND baking?

Anyone has an olive tree?

I'm following this sub for a few months now and i didn't see a single olive tree bonsai? So i wonder if anyone of you has one? Or is there an unwritten rule to not use olive trees? Or why i don't see them?
