Nowadays you better be praticing combos that belonged 3 ranks higher than your current one and have perfect frame data and interaction knowledge on at least the 10 most played characters because everyone is doing that, and if you don't then you are just at a huge disadvantage with your opponents deleting 80% of your hp bar off a single interaction and able to block everything you threw at them while you can't do the same.

Players are so optimized and experienced that they are doing things by frame and calculating interaction frame datas on spot like its yomi hustle in real time, at one point learning strive had became such a bore that my actual work is more fun than learning how Dizzy's giant fucking futa cock actually beats my 2d and i have to use my northern frame perfect drunken fist technique to catch the one frame window when she is whipping it out so i can use a delayed 5h to punish her as its -5.2 on block or some gay fucking shit like that.
