This has bugged me for a while: There are many lights!

There are illuminated panels behind Gul Madred when he is questioning Picard. We also the larger room in some shots that show it dimly lit by other lighting sources.

Something that has bothered me for a long time:Gul Madred nor Picard were correct on the number of lights in that room.

There are illuminated decorative panels behind the Gul when he is questioning Picard. The rest of the room is dimly illuminated by other lights as we see in various shots like when the Gul's kid visits.

There are many lights!

How fortunate are we that almost every alien species we have encountered construct their names similar to how cultures on Earth do? We don't even need to redesign our forms. That's a savings that goes right to the bottom line.

They have a given name, a surname, and sometimes a middle name.
