what happened to just being a hater but also not a dickhead

Talking shit about bad dead people like Charlie Kirk, ranting about anon people who are being stupid, expressing how much we hate a certain hobby or genre of thing… can we just be haters without wishing death on people or harassing them

also ps I’m pro being a hater but I also don’t think people should counter my hater energy with telling me to kill myself LMAO

This dude just took all the comments on my post - comments from myself and other people, and turned them into his own. this is so freaky

I hate socializing because of panhandlers

So, I live in a big city. I’m not trying to dox myself but I’m in Canada. There’s a lot of drug addicts & homeless people around.

Because the crisis is so rampant, there’s an abundance of resources for them like food/subsidies/free housing (which I’m currently in)/shelter/soup kitchens/food pantries/free clothing and basic necessities…

I have no issue with the general population, I myself was homeless for a year and stuck in a shelter- but whenever you go to Tim Hortons, McDonald’s, a liquor store, a gas station, you will always have a panhandler pester you for money or food.

Even when I was homeless I’d give them my change because I was a people pleaser and didn’t want someone to go hungry. Today, someone asked me for a donut. I said “Sure, I can buy you a donut”; he then proceeded to add 6 donuts to the kiosk. I said “no, that’s too much I can’t afford that” - which is true, I have to ask my mom to buy me groceries. I didn’t have breakfast so I got myself a small $2 tea. He told me, “well you have enough money for that”

I’ve had this happen on numerous other occasions since the same homeless people tend to gravitate towards specific areas, the ones in the middle of the city in the more tourist-y area are definitely more entitled than the ones on the east side.

They ask me for change, or food, I say I can’t afford it, they say I’m lying or point out something else I’ve bought, try to start an argument, and I’m just getting really tired of the daily conflict. I don’t really leave my apartment except to do my obligations, and when I do, this happens almost every time. ALMOST, maybe 3 times a week. Sometimes multiple times a day, sometimes not at all. Weekends are the worst, so is transit, McDonald’s, & Tim Hortons

I try not to look at them now. I keep my head down, try not to take my headphones off, but they’ll physically approach you, touch you, and tell you to take your headphones off so they can ask you for things.

There’s this one “regular” in the area who scams people by trying to seem genuine and have a good conversation. He then asks for them to take him to the gas station to get a sandwich. They say yes, he takes them, he then racks up a huge bill and gets them to get him a gift card too. If they’re kind natured, scared, or non confrontational, they’ll agree. And if they do pay for his stuff, he’ll return the gas station food and the gift card for the money.

Source? My fiancée works at the gas station it frequently happened at until she stopped serving him.

So anyway, I’m just complaining because every time I feel bad emotionally for them, but I also feel angry because of how many times I’ve been taken advantage of by them when I couldn’t say no. I now can, but I used to spend my own grocery money on them and they never were grateful.

They get around ≈1k a month from the government, which can also reach ≈1.8k depending on their type which is more than what I get.

I wouldn’t mind buying someone something occasionally if they wouldn’t be so greedy, unappreciative, and mean. And why are they so pushy? I constantly see people giving them money or food from the places they’re sitting outside of.

been lurking for a bit, wanted to share my 5 month progress :)

reupload because last time I accidentally uploaded something I didn’t want in frame !! I’d previously been cutting for 5 years, so since I was around 15. Time really flies!!

Also guys, please stop uploading pics of your scabs and wounds. I like to be on here to know I’m not alone, and it deeply triggers me to see new SH. I’m sure I’m not alone. Go on twitter for that :/

Finally cut contact

I love him a lot but I’m throwing in the towel. I didn’t make this decision lightly, I feel like I’ve lost a part of me and I write this with a lot of grief. I hope things change

always some sort of altercation at Tim’s lol

I was getting myself a strawberry matcha at Tim Hortons (fire btw) and there was a guy that asked me if I could buy him a donut. I said sure, I can buy you a donut. He then proceeded to add a $15 box to it.. I told him “no man I can’t afford that” and he got annoyed and went to the next dude, who then got extremely mad and went “I have 7 kids how dare you fucking ask me for money” … same dude talking about his kids left the Tim Hortons, “slamming” the door (or as best as he could, those doors don’t really slam that good)

Alters without DID

Hope I’m allowed to ask, what is having alters without having DID? I’m genuinely so confused at the argument where people say they’re “plural” and don’t have DID, but still have the alters. What other disorders “mock” alters? Does it just have to do with different dissociated states or maladaptive day dreaming… or something? Is this a real thing? I’m just trying to put 2 and 2 together, because whenever I ask someone who claims they have alters but not DID, they just get snappy and say I’m being ableist (and then don’t explain how they have alters)

Why are people who drive cars such idiots

I live in a busy city and constantly, while waking across the street (while the walking light is on), a car will cut me off and nearly hit me. What the hell are you doing that’s so important where you’d risk hitting another human being just to get there? You’d expect this to happen maybe once a month, but it happens EVERY SINGLE DAY! It pisses me off so fucking much, I’m tired of almost being hit because people are in a hurry and would rather potentially kill someone rather than wait 10 seconds.

“Why do people care that I cut? It’s my body”

I see these posts nearly every single day on this sub, occasionally twice a day.

It’s like you guys have never heard about putting yourselves in other’s shoes. What would you do if you found out your little sibling cut, or a close friend? Would you also think, “Who cares that they’re cutting? It’s their body.”

Not to mention, some people make immediate life-threatening cuts and then slap steri strips on it and call it a day. You’re ignorant if you think it’s completely fine that people cut themselves despite the fact they’re risking their own life, and the same goes to you.

I’ve been clean for 5 months and the only time I had this selfish mindset was when I was just starting out. You need to learn empathy for yourselves and others. I don’t care if my post is removed, others on this sub are seriously ignorant when it comes to this discussion. This is like telling people to commit suicide because it’s their life. If people told me it was completely fine for me to cut & commit, I would’ve by now and I wouldn’t have gotten better.

I’m not trying to make anyone feel bad but PLEASE try to look outside of yourself, it’s absurd to think other people are selfish because they don’t want you to hurt yourself.
