Bike commuters?

We’ll be moving to the area with a cargo bike - our kid will be downtown for preschool, but we’re not sure if we’ll be in Florence, Easthampton, or elsewhere, so I’m wondering if folks bike commute downtown. Any concerns/things to watch out for?

R1 owners buying an R2: what will you miss?

Test drove an R1S today - first time behind the wheel of a Rivian. We think the R2 fits our budget and lifestyle better, though I don’t think we’ve ruled it out entirely.

It’s hard to tell which of the bells and whistles end up getting the most pragmatic use, and I know not all of them will end up in the R2. So for those of you with more experience in an R1, what things are you bummed aren’t found on the R2 (at least at first launch)?
