Although Rye was initially labeled as aggressive, a review of his video clearly shows that he is not displaying aggressive behavior. Instead, he appears to be a frightened, cautious dog who is understandably unsure of his surroundings. His behavior is consistent with fear and stress, not aggression.

Seeking a forever home for a stray I found on my driveway. After countless online posts and flyers, no one has come forward to reclaim her. I've taken her in for a couple of months now, and she is the sweetest girl. Her name is Sasha - a handpicked name she responds to well. While I don't know her exact breed, my best guess is that she's a mix between a shepherd and a husky. Likewise, her age is uncertain, but she seems to be around 3 or 4 years old.
Sasha is a very affectionate, cuddly dog. She loves pets and a lot of attention.
She's not spayed, and I don't have the means to pay for it.
There is a $50 fee to ensure her safety. I want to make sure she's going to good people. Preferably someone who has a backyard!
She's very good with children and pets, but she does resource guard her food from other dogs. I've been working to crack down on that behavior.
Likewise, she's relatively simple to train. All she needs is consistency and patience. Within a month, she's learned how to lie down and sit when told. Additionally, she's potty trained and will annoy you until you let her out.
While she's vocal, she isn't loud like a normal husky. Only when she's playful or needs something.
My only requirements are that you pay the fee and stay in contact with me so I can receive updates. I love her very much, and I would absolutely keep her if I were in a better position - money is tight, and I already have two dogs. The best I can do for her now is make sure she finds a better home.

Shelter Notes:
7/6/26: Was lying next to another dog she had bonded with. After they were separated, she whined while waiting for her turn outside but remained easy to leash and walked on a semi-loose leash with a swaying tail before resting on her bed.
A2050949 April opened the kennel divider and broke a bar of the kennel door, was found housing with another dog this morning.
April can be adopted out of state. Please hurry. Dont wait to help her.

๐ Shelter Notes:
6/29/26: Lower body covered with feces after soiling the kennel. Attempted to hide in the bedding during intake. Required assistance from veterinary staff for blood collection but remained restrained.
6/30/26: Panted in her kennel and repeatedly jumped high enough to knock over her water bowl. Focused more on jumping than treats. Continued pacing and jumping throughout the day.
7/2/26: Greeted at the front of the kennel with a wiggly body. Walked on a semi-loose leash, accepted treats, and briefly tried to squeeze between the run gate before returning calmly on leash.
7/5/26: Continued pacing and jumping at the kennel gate. Pulled strongly on leash and attempted to jump on the handler. Jumped and whined throughout her time in the run and was observed pawing at the run gate latch. Placed on an adoption evaluation.
7/6/26: Similar behavior to the previous day. Panted heavily, paced, jumped on the kennel door, and pulled hard on leash. Continued jumping and whining while in the run and pawed at the run gate.
7/7/26: Paced constantly in her kennel and jumped repeatedly on the gate with heavy panting, dilated eyes, and a fast wagging tail. Pulled strongly on leash, frequently attempted to jump on the handler, and whined continuously while in the run. Paid little attention to other dogs but remained highly aroused throughout.

used to you he will have a wiggly body and set on your lap.
