Back to the Frontier: Fresh Start in Ghost of Yotei

Back to the Frontier: Fresh Start in Ghost of Yotei

Hello, I got the Platinum trophy in Ghost of Yotei about 4 weeks ago. I would now like to restart the game from scratch—so not New Game Plus, but completely fresh. My question is: what would you do in the game? Explore everything again like all the fox dens and so on, or ignore those things for now, just focus on getting stronger, and so on?

Even though I think the game is truly fantastic, I would definitely like to skip a few things that can get a bit annoying, and then continue with the expansion on October 1st. In the meantime, I’d like to play the Legends mode. But I definitely want to experience the story all over again from the beginning. I would appreciate a few tips from you on how best to approach this.

Jump Scares in The Last of Us Part II

Hello, I would like to play The Last of Us Part II. However, I get startled easily by jump scares. I found a video here that claims to contain all jump scares. Does anyone know this video and know if it really contains all of them? And is the order of the jump scares in this video correct? Or does anyone perhaps have another video showing all jump scares in the correct order? Thanks

Is Esperanza really as bad as people say?

Hello, I’ve started Far Cry 6 for the second time now, and I’m really enjoying it. However, I stopped playing last time after around 30 hours. I wasn’t very far into the game because I play really slowly.

Now I’m wondering if I should really continue. I’ve read so many times that the endgame in Esperanza isn’t much fun because the city is so heavily guarded and difficult to get into because of all the walls and checkpoints.

Can anyone tell me what they think? Is Esperanza really that bad, or is it not as frustrating as people make it sound?

Start again with Far Cry 5 ❤️

I played it the other way around. Today I got the platinum trophy in New Dawn and thus played the epilogue. Now I'm starting Far Cry 5. I had started playing it before, but didn't finish it. But I'm looking forward to New Eden before New Dawn now. I'm so hyped, I love this atmosphere in Hope County, Montana.

Platinum trophy in Far Cry New Dawn, now Far Cry 5

Got the Platinum trophy in Far Cry New Dawn today—an absolute blast of a game. I actually planned to keep playing after the main story, but I don't really think it makes sense anymore. Does anyone of you keep playing after beating it, and if so, why? I think I'll start Far Cry 5 now. I've only played about 15 hours of it so far, so I'm not even halfway through and had only killed one of the brothers. Then I got the urge to play Far Cry New Dawn instead, so I ended up playing the epilogue first and am now seeing how things turned out and what Hope County looked like in New Dawn. What do you guys think of this approach?

Trophy Arrow more than 100m

Hi, can someone please tell me why the trophy isn’t counting here? The trophy requires you to kill an enemy from more than 100 meters away using a regular arrow.

I measured the distance beforehand with the binoculars, and it was over 140 meters. I also hit two enemies. But I still didn’t get the trophy for killing an enemy who was more than 100 meters away with a regular arrow.

Does anyone know what could be the reason?

Co op Trophy

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for someone to help me get the "Have Buddy, Will Travel" co-op trophy in Far Cry New Dawn on PlayStation 5.

I'm online right now and available to start any time before 7:00 PM (CEST). If we start by then, we can quickly complete the three Expeditions needed for the trophy back-to-back.

You can invite me to your game, and I'll join you. We can just rush through the Expeditions as fast as possible.

I'm only interested in getting the trophy, so no long play session or lots of chatting. We can play on Difficulty 2. I have Rank 3 weapons.

PSN ID: Stahljagd

Thanks!

How many Hours in FarCry New Dawn?

Hello, I've been playing for almost 13 hours now. I play very slowly, and I'd like to know roughly how many more hours I can invest in this game. I haven't uncovered much of the map yet, I have unlocked half of the helpers, and my base isn't very developed yet. I want to achieve everything and also get the platinum trophy. Like I said, I really play very slowly, how much more time can I invest in this game? I just like it very much. By the way, what was your longest single playthrough in hours in Far Cry New Dawn?

Suppressor for assault rifle

Hi, I got this suppressor for the M15 Mod 0 assault rifle. I wanted to ask: if I equip this suppressor, am I completely hidden from the enemy minimap when firing, or how does it work exactly?

Wich assault rifle?

Hello, I bought Black Ops 7 on sale for PlayStation today. In Black Ops 6, I stuck with the XM4 assault rifle. That one isn't in Black Ops 7. So far, I've only been able to test two assault rifles: the Maddox RFB and the M15 Mod 0. I'd like to stick to just one assault rifle. Is one of these two already suitable for using throughout the entire game in multiplayer? I don't like switching weapons. I am 57 years old and would like to settle on one assault rifle. It's important to me that the handling is good—meaning I can aim down sights quickly, because I hardly ever fire from the hip. I always aim down sights to shoot. Also, the recoil shouldn't be too high, and it should have good range while still performing well at close range. I'd appreciate a few tips.

Difference matchmaking BO6 & 7

Hi, I've been playing Black Ops 6 multiplayer up until now. I really enjoyed it, but I didn't like the Zombies mode in Black Ops 6. That's why I picked up Black Ops 7 on sale today for PlayStation. The Zombies mode is great, it's a lot of fun, and I like it much better than in Black Ops 6, and now I've also had a look at the Black Ops 7 multiplayer. Could someone please explain to me again what the difference in matchmaking is between Black Ops 7 and Black Ops 6?

Thanks.

A few beginner questions about Black Ops 3 Zombies / Zombie Chronicles

A few beginner questions about Black Ops 3 Zombies / Zombie Chronicles

Hello everyone!

I just bought the Zombie Chronicles bundle with Black Ops 3 since it was on sale in the PlayStation Store, and I have a few questions:

  1. Is there no in-game mini-map or map overview at all in Black Ops 3 Zombies/Zombie Chronicles?
  2. Are there no ammo caches on the maps where you can just buy ammo refills, and if there are no ammo caches, how do I get more ammo?
  3. What does the icon circled in green at the bottom right of my screenshot mean?
  4. How exactly do I upgrade/level up weapons? Can I improve them simply by buying them off the wall, using them repeatedly in matches, and attaching attachments in the weapon menu?
  5. Is it normal that I always start with just a pistol and have to buy all my weapons off the wall or from the mystery box first, or can I eventually select a different starting weapon?

Thanks for the help!

Help in Zombie mode

Hello, I'm currently playing Black Ops 6, and up until now, I've only ever played Multiplayer in Call of Duty. I’ve checked out Zombies mode every now and then—including in other titles—but I don't understand what it's about at all. I don't know who this Richthofen guy is, nor do I know any of the other characters; it was always way too complicated for me.

However, I would really like to understand it. Is there a Black Ops Zombies title that explains it best, or which Black Ops Zombies title should I start with so that I can get the story?

One thing I'd like to add: I really don't like all those Easter Eggs. I don't want to figure things out; I just want to play, improve, survive, and reach higher rounds. I also really prefer playing by myself and don't want to play Co-Op.

So, to ask my question again: Which Zombies title is best to start with to understand the whole story? Though, of course, it won't help me at all if it's not actually explained well. Maybe you guys can help me out a bit. Thanks!"

Which Black Ops fits me better?

Hello, I've been playing Cold War for years now. I'd like to try a different Call of Duty game for a change.

I like Cold War so much because the gameplay isn't quite as fast-paced. At 57 years old, I can handle it really well. For comparison, I also thought MW2 (2022) was pretty good, even though I know it wasn't received very well by the CoD community.

MW3 is way too fast for me. And I think MW4 will be too fast as well—I've seen a few gameplay videos on YouTube. I actually played Black Ops 6 before and enjoyed it. However, I'd like to try Black Ops 7 since it's newer, and everywhere you read that the gameplay is supposed to be a bit slower than in Black Ops 6. Is that correct? Thanks!
