Seems like the leaks were spot-on. But also, again, what hype is this supposed to generate? 'Hey everyone, enjoy the 3 pixels we're giving you for our new 80€ DLC!'

[COD] Who is your go-to music artist when you play CoD?

I mainly listen to rock/metal (Metal, Evanescence, Sleep Token) & rap (Eminem, Tyler the Creator), but I'm looking to expand my playlist a bit for multiplayer matches. So, like the title, what music artist do you listen to while playing CoD?

[CoD] This year's new CoD Modern Warfare. What do you guys think?

The video above is mainly added to showcase for those who haven't seen IW's new Cod Pod, as it highlights the exact moment the developers tease the 'Definitive' Modern Warfare coming this year.

Here's everything we know so far regarding the upcoming Modern Warfare:

  1. Project Code Name "Rex" is confirmed internal development code name for Modern Warfare 4. Data-miners pulled the looping teaser file directly from the official Infinity Ward website. The file is explicitly labeled 'Rex_IW-website-teaser'.

  2. The studio has officially adopted a distinct yellow color scheme for this game's branding and marketing era, completely shifting away from the traditional MW greens, blues & reds.

  3. The video and accompanying studio announcements confirm that selected content creators are already participating in secret playtests for the game right now.

With Infinity Ward calling their newest CoD 'Definitive' do you think they will listen to community feedback regarding movement and pacing, or are they going to double down on their usual design choices?

Aside from Ghosts, which [CoD] deserves a sequel or had features that need to be explored more?

Ignoring Ghosts, I definitely think Infinite Warfare deserves it the most. The ship-to-ship dogfighting was incredibly smooth. A sequel could expand this into larger tactical space battles.

[COD] Is MWIV set up for a major trap? How will it actually perform?

I’ve been tracking the trajectory of the franchise lately, and looking ahead to Modern Warfare IV, it feels like Activision is walking into a massive trap. I wanted to see how the community thinks the game will realistically perform based on the facts we have right now:

  1. With Microsoft officially removing future CoD entries from Day One Game Pass to save retail software revenue, players are forced to pay the full premium price upfront again.

  2. Dropping the PS4 and Xbox One is tracking to slice a massive chunk of casual players from the launch-week metrics. Plus, the next-gen-only engine requirements will likely price out mid-range PC budget players.

  3. Leaks indicate that Infinity Ward is largely copying the MWII engine philosophy (heavy visual recoil, slower pacing). With a potential 1-week campaign early access window, players will also have a full 7 days to warn each other if the story is bad before buying.

  4. The lack of hype surrounding the entire game as a whole.

  5. Last but not least, GTA VI is coming this November. This is self-explanatory. Despite the fact that MWIV will get released in October to acquire a head-start, since GTA VI comes out on November 19th, that still won't be enough. Hell, even Warzone will probably lose a massive amount of players because of it.

Given the massive sales declines we've seen across recent titles, do you guys think MWIV is headed for a slight failure/neutral result on paper despite making massive raw revenue, or will the Modern Warfare branding blindly carry it to success?

[CoD] What is a feature you absolutely loved from a CoD game you otherwise hated?

Title. For me, I really liked the addition of the destructible environments in Vanguard. Mainly because it changed the flow and also punished campers which I like.

By the end of a match, campers had nowhere left to hide because all the walls and doors were completely blown open.

As a Ghosts fan, I generally really like the dynamic map events, even though the destructible environments of Vanguard can't really be compared to it in my eyes (Ghosts' is much better).Vanguard definitely has LOTS of issues, but that mechanic was pretty decent.

[WaW] How good is WaW?

I've been seeing a lot of love for the game. How good is it really? Is it worth buying? Please explain. I'm a guy who thinks the WW2 setting is repetitive and, quite boring. Is it stilll worth it despite that?

Finally was able to get my hands on this bad boy

I've been a fan of DC (specifically Nightwing & Red Hood) for so long, and I found this in Comic Con. Very excited to take a look and read it.

I have only played the first two BOs. Which other one is worth buying? I generally like playing everything (Campaign, MP, Zombies), so I'd prefer a game where it's at least average in those 3 aspects.

Decides to do this too. It's organised pretty badly, but I did this on my phone, cut me some slack 😭.

Anyway, how it works is pretty simple. You get to comment one of my songs that you'd like to eliminate, and the one with the most upvotes or mentions will be eliminated.
