[general] What do you think the taste and texture of the lotus flower is? Ever since I was a kid I've wanted to eat them

I've always imagined them as a crunchy hard frosting but in a good way

Like a sweet vanilla frosting

And it's crunchy/hard because it's just been out a while

I have no idea how else to explain it
