And/or the original sub(s) being jerked have become indistinguishable from the jerk subs.

Its almost like the irony/sincerity spectrum has collapsed in a quantum wavefront which demolished both.

Concrete manifestations of the phenomenon include:

  1. CJ posts which are both sauced and obviously insincere—meaning any vaguely sober Redditor should be able to suss “something ain’t right here”—whose commenters respond earnestly or in good faith, as though it were the main sub

  2. Posts on the main subs for which there are CJs which are fundamentally indistinguishable from the CJ satires.

  3. Jerkers who notice the above two phenomena and who then gleefully start posting their jerks on the main subs, since no one visiting the CJ gets it.

There’s got to be some kind of critical theory term for satire collapse, right?

This is confusion on the deBordian level: what’s even real any more?

The heat you're experiencing, dear TikToker, is from the cumulative CO2 that's been building up over 100+ years, not because of the usage of modern AI.
AI is currently just 0.5% of global CO2 emissions... So stopping the usage wouldn't change a thing.
TikTok's environmental footprint is estimated at 50 million metric tons of CO2 emissions annually.

That was weird.

I sent a friend (who has regularly said that they chat with AI in the past.) A video edit that I made with ai. I took a picture that I found and had ai generate three or four videos that I chopped up myself and put some music over.

Im so sick of people not knowing what feminism means

Feminism is the belief that all genders are equal.
If you call yourself a feminist and say things like “men are stupid” or you think that a woman is better than a man purely based on gender, you’re sexist.
If you don’t believe in feminism because you think it oppresses men, you don’t understand what feminism means.
Anyone who doesn’t consider themselves a feminist, or anyone who says they are a feminist but will treat men disrespectful just because of their gender, needs to get their brains checked.
There is nothing wrong with the feminist belief, and there is no such thing as a feminazi, the only issue is the definition getting confused between people.

I hate the pro AI movement and their way of supporting it.

They love ai, but ignore the actual arguments brought up. They tend to lump all datacenters together with ai datacenters to defend it, they ignore the amount of water these things need and don't even get me started on the water/noise pollution and the the possibility of surveillance tech. On top of that, they never seem to address video AI being so realistic that it can easily fool the casual observer. Imagine someone making a video and using it in court. That's horrifying.

"It's the future" yeah, so is the sun expanding and absorbing the earth and I doubt humans wanna experience that. They would want to move to Mars at that point. (Find a better alternative than letting the future run them over)

I don't have an inherent issue with ai, but corporations are abusing this technology so fucking much that it's not even funny.
