Going from Portland and spending most of my life in Portland I sometimes go to Beaverton and I noticed it has a hilly feeling? Is it only me or is it a real thing? I worked in construction a long time and work out there and noticed the houses were on hilly areas compared to Portland being mostly flat.
Looking for a single floor apartment for rent or a 2 floor duplex like apartment for rent. Any recommendations?
I wake up early morning to work and can’t have 4 side neighbors. (Up,down,side,side)
Long story short I need to move out where I’m living at asap. First time renting by myself and realized that there are apartments agency’s. That control multiple apartments through the city.
And also that there are nicer apartments that have their own manager and office in the same complex.
What are the ups and downs?

And find any excuse to come at you. I have stuff that clearly goes outside and the manager constantly takes pictures to harass me about it. Idk where else to put the stuff I have. Seems like every new manager want to prove a point and finds any little thing to complain about and say it’s against my lease. I’m paying nearly 2,500 per month and I have to have the backyard to their standards. Yet when I’m unemployed for 3 months she looks the other way and still charges me full rent instead of adjusting my rent.
I got the Alaska airline cc and rarley use it only for buying tickets and car rental. I’m currently at 70k points. I tried buying a ticket with it and I still had to pay cash. Did I not have enough points to cover the whole ticket price? Also I always get messages of buying points. But is it worth it? If at the end I’ll still end up paying cash?

First time looking into apartments. Say if I were to get a two room apartment, and decided to rent the other room. What would be the process? If I rent to someone who just wants a temp place for couple months. Do I need to put them on the lease? Do I need to report it to anyone? Or if I wanted to bring someone in to help out with rent how will that be the process? Are there legal channels i need to go through instead of just taking cash from the rental room?

So let me tell you my situation.
My work will slow down about 3 months.So I was chosen to be layed off. (Still a employee just won’t work)..
I have 80 hr vacation payed which I will get other wise I will loose them.
So I will report my income after the vacation payed is over? And go about 2 months without income then report again when I start working?? How many paychecks do I need to provide? How many weeks?
(I did this last year and was still being charged full rent, I was paycheck to paycheck and I had a really hard time paying the 1,400)
Got a new iPhone and want to sign in with my Apple ID but DONT want to transfer stuff over. Like pictures. And honestly the least stuff it transfers the better for me. (But still have the stuff in my iCloud)
I’ll be visiting from the us my wife lives in gdl and never goes to pv. What are some fun/family stuff to do. My littlest girl is 3 my oldest girl is 6. We will spend couple days in pv and then head to gdl. None of us drink nor party so that’s crossed out. I told her to meet me in pv so we can do some fun things together once I land. We have family we can stay with but a family friendly hotel recommendation would be nice. Thanks everyone.

Looking to rent a car abroad (mecxio) and it says spl (supplemental liability insurance) what is this?
These are the details it says..”Our highest level of coverage for third-party claims and eliminates any deductible up to the amount insured.”
What and who is third party?? I just want to rent a car and have it insurance for if it gets stolen, or if I get into a car crash it’ll cover the rental car and other car. It’s 546 usd difference and don’t want to add it if I won’t need it.

The whole screen is perfect. Expect for the three little. Dots on the top they seem to have smudges. (Smudges big enough to only cover the circle don’t expand Any bigger) I lifted the screen up and re pushed it down and still seemes it has it. (Not the camera I googled it and it said it was the motion sensor)

How did you sign your passport? Did you start your first letter at the beginning of the line or did you start your name midway of the signature of bearer line? My old passport I started midway of the line and ran out of space. Don’t want to do the same mistake on my new passport and would like for it to look professional.

Bought them at Ross for me to cut my own hair for 20 bucks each. Been getting wahl clippers at other places they’re 40+ dlls and somehow I always end up loosing them or they end up disappearing. I don’t need the fancy gadgets the other wahl clippers have. Just a simple number 1-3 guard. Are these technically the same?
If so, what was your company of choice? How was your experience with them? Did you get the insurance package? All tips and story’s appreciated.
Was looking into sixt and seen they have multiple insurance options. (These are the options I would like to go with). Will I be safe? Will sixt release their car to me? Their “full coverage” is over 2k usd and with the options I chose it’s about 900usd.
Does anyone know what supplemental liabilty insurance is?
I rented a car twice already in pv in the past with diffrient company’s and for 30 days payed over 2k usd because I always chose their “full coverage”. Then i found out that I don’t need their full coverage I can just go with the basic.
Ps.will drive to diffrient state so don’t qualify for geiko or local company’s with limited miles.(my amex gold also has some sort of coverage. But has some loop holes, has anyone used a Amex for rental?)

My obs front seats are torn completely. Any high quality leather replacement covers I can replace them with? I’ve seen some on eBay but not sure about them.Upholstery Places around me want to charge 1k+ per seat to fix. And not even looking original. At my workplace we all use the trucks. I always leave the fuel exactly how I get the truck in the morning. No biggie I was asked to “not leave it empty or 1/4 or half a tank etc” (as that’s how I got it, that’s how I return it etc). So I fill it up now. So the guy who uses it most of the time texted me to wash the window as there are way to many bugs on it and can’t see at night. I’m not driving through a state were there are lakes with massive bug infestation. Yes probably 2-5 spread through the entire windshield. Not obstructing any view in any way. Really got me upset. He is a brand new cdl driver and ever since he started driving the semi he starts to act like the world revolves around him.( I was begged to take that position before him but I kindly denied and handed that position to him so he can gain more experience)
Should I tell him if he can’t see at night I should take over the position for him? Should I tell him not exaggerate and do it himself? Either way after that, I wont want to even have a friendly relationship.

My workplace hire a guy with lots of health issues. But he never said anything. He would mention it to other co workers but never at his interview nor any bosses. He has diabetes and lots of delicate wounds everywhere & his feet would sore up after long time being on his feet.
So he worked, HE asked for hours and hours and days and days. So they gave it to him.(please note management had no idea of his health issues). Fast forward now he’s on doctors note leave and wants to get paid by the company for it. He also mention he wants to get a lawyer if he doesn’t get payed for his time off, because this job worsen his health condition. He is claiming because of the job and long days it affected him even more, and long hours standing walking is what made his health conditions worsen.
(Management did not have a clue he was in that standing situation)
Who is in the wrong here?
