Seumalo has played every snap at left guard (209) with a PFF grade of 63.1. He is regarded as an excellent pass protector, but his run-blocking grades sit at 46.1.

RT Elijah Wilkinson has a PFF grade of 57.7 and is ranked 54th among 69 qualified offensive tackles. His issue is with run blocking. He grades out at 52.4 in this aspect and is ranked 56th at the OT position.

C Hjalte Froholdt is this group's rock. His PFF numbers are 57.5 for the year so far, ranking him 19th out of 32 qualified centers.

RG Isaiah Adams played in Week 1 and this past weekend's contest against the San Francisco 49ers. In those two contests, he played every snap at right guard. He has an overall PFF grade of 68.5 and is an exceptional run blocker (71.4). His pass-protection rating is 55.3.

RG Jon Gaines spelled Adams in Week 2. His PFF grade for the one game was 69.6. Excellent pass blocker and ranked 9th out of 68 guards.

LT Paris Johnson is showing why the Cardinals spent the sixth overall pick in the first round back in 2023. In only a three-game capsule, Johnson grades out at 80.8. The breakdown is a pass protection grade of 82.1 and an 81.1 run-blocking rating.

The known prognosis was that Ojulari suffered an ACL tear, but he told reporters that he, in fact, tore two other knee ligaments along with his ACL.

Often times, players on the practice squad aren't viewed in the same light as those on the active 53-man roster. Leota says his prior experience was massive in helping him earn time on task to go out and do what he did this preseason — get after the quarterback.

"Oh, it helped out a lot. I know I was a P [practice] squad last year, but just being a scout team player, and I'm sure I'm going to be a scout team player again this year, which I need those reps. I like going against the ones, and those are my game reps throughout the week because I'm not going to get a lot of game reps, so I try to get my game reps in throughout the week," he said.

"Special teams though is where I'm gonna get my reps. So that's where I take pride in special teams."

For a player such as Leota, special teams is mandatory if he'll survive on the roster.

Mike LaFleur has known Bam Knight since their time with the Jets.

Bam only knows one way," the Cardinals coach said. "The way he runs it, you would think it's tackle football when it was in some of those training camp practices."

In 2025, Knight was one of the surprise additions to the Cardinals' roster after a strong preseason. After another impressive offseason campaign this year, he was enough of a lock to sit out the final two preseason games. Still, the running back was never comfortable.
"I want to say no, and that's the honest answer," Knight said when asked if there was a moment where he fully believed he had a spot. "One thing I've learned in this league is I've been cut three times. Nothing is ever certain unless you're a first or second-round pick. Even sometimes you see those guys get released, so I try not to."
