because i cant get it right. why is there both អ្ក and អ្គ when they both make the k/g sound and theyre both consonants.

will someone explain to this confused american how im supposed to read khmer subconsonants

the other day i made cream cheese stuffed chicken thighs in which i used a hypodermic needle to get the cheese inside because i dont have a food needle. i then had to find a way to get the cream cheese inside the needle and i believed the best way to get it inside was using the cap because my fingers wouldnt fit. well today was the day i decided would be best to clean the needle. i was able to clean the piston, and the detachable needle just fine but when it came to the cap i couldn't so easily. the cap is just bigger than my thumb and slimmer than my pinkie. ive used the spray option on the sink, i even went as far as to boil both the cap and the needle and coincidentally the cap stayed afloat maybe 6 cups of water. even boiling the cap didn't work. i was able to clean the needle after a bit of attempts but nothing would clean that damn cap. so now i have a tiny bit of cream cheese and basil mixture stuck inside of a small plastic object which will probably rot because moisture + enzymes + air + time = mold. i cannot take a picture of the needle cap because while i was trying to take a picture of it it ended up falling between my small white nightstand, and the boxspring is under a bed that was so heavy it had to be carried by 6-9 men when we first got it. the boxspring and the desk that i cannot move because it is placed against a wall where to its front there is a heavy mat with instruments and trash that i need to clean up have a less than 2cm margin between the two. ive spent the last hour looking for it, i even saw it slowly go between the bed and the desk, but when i went to go look in the exact spot that it fell, 🫰POOF! it was gone.

or are the two words interchangeable

i ask because i know that AI in its current form makes a lot of mistakes. there is a song i really like but unfortunately the song isn't in high quality and i was hoping to fix that myself :l

Khmer is an abugida. which means that the consonants have an inherent vowel sound and then you can cram vowels around that consonant to make a different vowel sound.

in Khmer specifically, excluding standalone letters, there are dependent vowels, sub consonants, and diacritics.

what order am i supposed to read these? my only other exposure to this type of system was korean where you read in order from the top left, to the bottom right left to right.

when i pronounce the neutral tone, my biggest worry is that it will be confused with another tone, and then suddenly im saying something else entirely. is the neutral tone a tone where i just say what i want to say, but in midpitch? not low but not high? is it short and quick?

i havent played cuphead basically since it came out but i decided to get back into the game this time on pc and i cannot use my mouse. at all. my mouse works fine with literally every other game but when i go to play cuphead my mouse is nonexistent. this is especially a problem when using the lock feature. which is a feature that lets you move your aim while staying still and i assume you need your mouse for. i cannot look up and down at all when playing cuphead but i can with any other game. i think the controls are wack so when i went to change the keybinds i wanted to have shoot be left click but when i went to change it to left click the game didnt respond. again i can do this with any other game but not cuphead.

the main reason, is because indonesia has over 700 languages and about 300 million people. meaning if i meet someone, theres a chance that they wont understand me because im speaking indonesian, meanwhile they speak... javanese. or whatever else.

my biggest worry is that even if i try with my might to learn bahasa gaul (most information is in bahasa indonesia) then it would be useless because no one would understand me because everyone there speaks a warped version of their own language unique to them, or so im told.

my question: does bahasa gaul actually get me access to a decent amount of people

i obviously dont know how to make this myself, so im hoping someone will provide instructions for me to make a shortcut that makes notifications available every time except when youtube music is open. peoples calls have gotten through do not disturb, that is not an easy fix.
