my mouse doesnt work when playing cuphead. is this normal

i havent played cuphead basically since it came out but i decided to get back into the game this time on pc and i cannot use my mouse. at all. my mouse works fine with literally every other game but when i go to play cuphead my mouse is nonexistent. this is especially a problem when using the lock feature. which is a feature that lets you move your aim while staying still and i assume you need your mouse for. i cannot look up and down at all when playing cuphead but i can with any other game. i think the controls are wack so when i went to change the keybinds i wanted to have shoot be left click but when i went to change it to left click the game didnt respond. again i can do this with any other game but not cuphead.

im questioning if i should continue learning indonesian

the main reason, is because indonesia has over 700 languages and about 300 million people. meaning if i meet someone, theres a chance that they wont understand me because im speaking indonesian, meanwhile they speak... javanese. or whatever else.

my biggest worry is that even if i try with my might to learn bahasa gaul (most information is in bahasa indonesia) then it would be useless because no one would understand me because everyone there speaks a warped version of their own language unique to them, or so im told.

my question: does bahasa gaul actually get me access to a decent amount of people

another day, another instance of reddit mods acting like children :)

i have tried reaching them directly but the mods have not responded to my message. i know that this is off topic, but its the only chance i have at reaching the mods. even if this post gets taken down due to "low quality", the mods will still have seen it, and will hopefully be mature about it and explain to me why i cant talk about LITERATURE in a subreddit that is about a language, and a huge part about any language at all is READING.

the text in this image is the only message i have sent to the mods of this subreddit. i made a post asking the community, twice, both of which were taken down for unspecified reasons, about what type of books or webseries they were into. i sent the mods this message around 10PM last night, it is currently 2:45PM and they still havent answered. ive been out all day so this is the only time i was able to check my reddit account today. i am upset that both of my posts were taken down but i am more confused than angry.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

⬆️

this block of text was under a public post i made for the moderators of r/Spanish to see since they didnt respond to my modmail. please note that i was never aggressive towards any of the mods prior to both messages.

in this post (the one youre reading right now) the first image is my initial text message to the mods, and the second image is their response, but only AFTER they saw my post. the moderators quickly deleted it within 5 minutes because they were worried that the public would understand how silly it is to not be allowed to talk about books in a language dedicated subreddit. keep in mind talking about tv shows and music is completely fine over there.

extremely obvious fart noise in woman that prevents me from enjoying the song

woman by doja cat is an extremely lovely song and its one of my favorite songs by her ever but my ear has been accustomed so much to this odd noise (maybe a minute and 15 seconds into the song) so much that i cant enjoy the song without knowing if it was truly intentional. this has bugged me for years.

am i crazy for saying that this subreddit became alive again after i joined?

weekly visitors before i joined: 31 (i don't have a screenshot but this is the approximate number i remember), barely any activity

weekly visitors after i joined: 87, still barely any activity but improving

i don't mean any disrespect by making this post I'm just pointing out an observation. subreddits in general seem more alive when I'm in them.

i have no idea what my religion is anymore. (vent)

ive been meaning to talk about this for a long time but dont know who to talk to. so i guess ill go here.

i used to be a christian. all my life. then, something happened where i stopped being a christian. i stopped believing in jesus, and started giving my devotion to science and logic.

i left christianity for a multitude of reasons but i remember hearing about how being attracted to the same gender is a sin, and i didnt understand why being gay was wrong. i heard about this around the middle end of my christian faith. this really puzzled me because the jesus i thought i knew preached to love everybody no matter their circumstances. and then when i considered returning to the faith i was worried that i would be grouped with the trump crowd. this wasnt the main reason i left, the main reason why i left is because i had felt jesus left me down. after i left christianity i began insulting others for their beliefs. took me years to understand what i was doing was wrong.

my spiritualistic atheist phase lasted for several years. so basically i believed in most concepts of spirituality, but i still didnt believe there was a god and my main captain of internal logic was science, logic, reasoning, perspective taking, and research. i spent years preaching that there isnt a god and people need to stop being silly.

however, sometime in between the end of my christianity, and the middle of my spiritualistic atheism, i forgot how to pray. im serious. when i used to be a christian i used to pray to jesus (mostly god because i believed jesus and god were two seperate entities and jesus was gods son) all the time whenever i felt like i needed him. i even owned a bible.

i think the main reason why i stopped praying was due to my intrusive thoughts. i used to never get intrusive thoughts before i got post traumatic stress disorder. i have intrusive thoughts several times a day and i have no idea how to make it stop so i gave up on trying. if there is a god i wouldnt be sure theyd recognize the difference between my intrusive thoughts and my true desires. as a solution i began praying on paper. it worked, for a few months, but then my prayers stopped being answered. and then there were other huge inconviences with spiritualistic atheism to the point where i just didnt see a point in following the religion anymore. i just didnt believe i was loved. not cared enough about to be worth giving miracles to.

someone i knew personally asked me if i believed in god. i told them no, because if there was a god they wouldnt let these awful things happen to me. i then explained i was a spiritualistic atheist. a few days before i became a full on atheist. after i became a full on atheist, i stopped believing in the supernatural, and just started believing in nothing. that cardinal that i once believed was a sign of disaster was now just another organism visiting me. i temporarily felt like things started to make sense once i left religion for good.

then i became a theist. not a christian or spiritualist, but someone who has some hope that there could be a god. science was still always my main drive here. but i started to aquire some belief that there COULD be a god. but: i still dont know how to pray anymore. i basically had a chest in my arms that i couldnt open. i owned a house that i didnt have the keys to.

however: it became extremely difficult to remember there was a god. so my "scientific theistic" phase slowly wore off. i honestly still think im a scientific theist but that i have a hard time remembering i am.

and then there was a time where i began considering islam. ive always been interested in the arabic language to a degree, and ive always wanted to read the quran. but then i remembered that women have to wear hijabs (i may have to verify this) and muslims have to pray 5-6 times a day. i would be worried my current schedule would dissapoint allah. and then i read about what shirk was. i think the main reason my islam curiosity started is because i have a really bad discipline problem. i used to be excellent at being disciplined and motivated but with all the shit thats happening in my life this once great ability of mine started to deteriorate. to a degree i used to pity muslims because i thought they had no free time. that they just had to pray all day. now i was seeing an opportunity to build my discipline. im still scared to join the religion because im scared of doing something wrong.

i think what i want more than conformation that there is a god is to find purpose in life. i think right now im an agnostic-scientific theist. some sort of hybrid of agnosticism and theism with science if that makes sense, but i dont know what to label myself. even the dedicated term that refers to not believing in religion at all doesnt feel right to me. it used to feel like purpose but now it just feels like harsh and cold. i feel like my only avenue right now is to read self help books. ive been through so many different beliefs that im not even sure i can stay loyal to one religion anymore.
