It is choosing the motherland before the self.

This is the spirit behind “Balidan Parmo Dharma.”

A philosophy carried by warriors, martyrs, and generations who believed that some things are greater than personal survival—honour, loyalty, freedom, and the future of the nation.

Today, we pay homage to every brave jawan who made the supreme sacrifice during the Kargil War. Their courage, sacrifice, and indomitable spirit will forever remain etched in the history of our nation.
