Criticizing the kpop industry as if the western industry doesn’t do the same thing

Like, at the end of the day, 50% of the western artists are manufactured, like it or not. And why complain about performers performing their biggest hits? Of course most singers would perform their biggest hits because that’s what made them famous (though there are some who dislike their biggest hits). Also, at the end of the day, most of Western pop music’s was always about being awesome, hotness, and a breakup.

“Controversial opinions about Tomodachi Life!”

And it’s just popular opinions like “more stuff, Concert Hall, more diversity”

In theory, could kpoptimism ever work out?

It's based off poptimism, where pop deserved the same level of respect as genres like rock.

I feel like NewJeans, especially Get Up, was the closest thing to kpoptimism because even non-kpop fans were turned in and how they sounded different from other groups at the time.

I really hope the album tracks sound similar to Madonna’s Ray of Light, Britney Spears’s In the Zone, and Addison Rae’s Aquamarine because I feel like Pureflow’s aesthetics would sound this type of music
