As the question states. I remember seeing it somewhere here and it would be nice to see the progress made by the kinetic sanctions packages.

Vehicular Violence. Driver in Italy Rams a Group of Cyclists on Purpose. At Least Four Severely injured thus far.

English translation of German text:

Four seriously injured in Italy: Motorist deliberately rams group of cyclists

The 70-year-old is said to have used his vehicle as a weapon and drove into the cyclists in reverse. The act was apparently preceded by a dispute.

On a popular track for cyclists in northern Italy, the dispute between a motorist and a group of cyclists has escalated. The motorist, according to the police near Turin, put his vehicle into the amateur athletes with full intent. He seriously injured four of them.

One had to be taken to hospital in critical condition. The approximately 70-year-old man is now being investigated for multiple bodily harm and the attempt to kill intentionally in road traffic.

The man in the car had been outraged, according to previous findings, that the group of six cyclists on the route from Lanzo Torinese to Coassolo took up too much space on the road from his point of view. When overtaking, he honked loudly, which is why the cyclists had made their anger with violent gestures. As a result, the driver abruptly braked, engaged the reverse gear and captured four of the cyclists. He even returned to go back to them.

Motorist turns himself in to police

Two of the injured had to be flown to hospital by helicopter, one with several fractures and other serious injuries. The driver, whose license plate the amateur athletes had listed, finally turned himself in to the police, according to these information.

In Italy, many amateur athletes are on road bikes, especially on weekends. The route on which the incident occurred is very popular with cyclists in the region because of a challenging incline and panoramic views. (dpa)

What are the external expressions/behaviors or manifestations of your internal parts?

I was curious about understanding this: what external behaviors have your internal parts been responsible for? It doesn't even have to totally be in the relational space. Were there any points in time where you knew a certain external behavior was a certain part or another person saw a certain part take the situation over?

Have You Ever Experienced Another Person Being Able to See Your Parts?

If so, what is it like and have they seen some of the parts even before you discovered them yourself?

Long story short, former closest friend is an avoidant with whom I ended things due to it. In grieving losing her again and making this a growth process for myself, I realized I was able to see three distinct parts of her all along and a fourth I knew was there, but not directly visible to me in her distinct behaviors. I didn't learn about IFS until a year later and the parts lined up with the theory. She obviously doesn't know this and likely never will. Has anyone ever experienced having someone that was either able to "see" or just be in tune with the parts?

I've now had Cevapi in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Germany, and Slovenia. A random place in Postojna made the best cevapi I ever had. The second was in NW Ljubljana

WTF, people. I can't believe it was this good. A filthy place literally at the end of the train tracks at the Belgrade train station was my previous best, but this place in Postojna was so wild that I can't imagine anyone coming close. They even did the right thing of baking the bread, dipping it, then throwing it on the grill an frying it. My new second is a place in Ljubljana on Celovska Cesta in the city's north-west.

Edit:

The place in Ljubljana: ACA Grill&Roštilj on Celovska Cesta. Also of note that the dude uses a grill that's more of a griddle (not flat) and the place is clean and I'm watching the dude clean between orders. They don't speak English or German or anything else, but we figured it out with google translate.

The Postojna place is Mal'ca and is just some fast food place, but it was nuts. I just got a large cevapi sandwich and that was enough for even the next day. They offered some Mal'ca sandwich which was some huge slab of some kind of cut of meat. Way too much, but I kind of regret not getting one the next day. They speak English there and are really serious about their shit.  They bake the bread, dip in in that tub of whatever broth and fat shit, then they fry it on the grill.

Second dose of Shingrix

So I received my second dose of Shingrix two months after the first. I'll recap the first:

-no symptoms or anything on the first day. The night of the second day woke up with insane pain in my lower back, exactly in the dermatome where the virus is. It was horrendous and I have injuries there and it was as if I was freshly injured. Hot knife, electricity, radiation into my legs, and a "bubbling" feeling for lack of a better way to describe it. Took tons of pain meds, went to sleep, fine in the morning. This may have been a sign of having an outbreak that was not noticeable, but some studies mention this phenomenon

- second dose: doctor's nurse advised to take paracetamol immediately before it starts because it absolutely will be more difficult. I took the advice and the reaction started within about two hours. I have a backache, but no pain like I had before. Some radiation in my legs. Felt weak, a bit drunk, nausea when walking that made me heave.

My condition: have been treated for sports spinal injuries and along the way we put the pieces together that I may have had Zoster for over a decade at this point and was being treated for it by my old doctor who never made the diagnosis and was negligent. I have suspected PHN and it is very possible the injuries are not a big deal. The primary manifestation here is as pirifomis syndrome which I may not have at all.

Europe: Any Heavy Metal and Science Fans Out There? Anything else you're extremely passionate about?

I'm experimenting to see where this goes, if anywhere. Long story short, the friends I had with whom I traded music are no longer there and while I have other friends, none are into metal or even passionate about music. My last two besties were female (platonic), I'm male and I get along with women much better and the BFF or found family vibe where we can talk about anything authentically and without the toxicity is something I miss.

I'm into Doom, Stoner Doom, Thrash, Prog, Black, and mostly anything good. I am also into science with a STEM background, I hike and climb, mountain bike, and travel. Memes and shitposting are welcome, as well as just sending over mundane updates of daily life. Politics, Garmin trackers, cat and dog lovers also welcome. You have other things you're extremely passionate about? Bring it.

Europe is primary due to timezones, but outside would be ok if the limitations of communication are understood or if you have weird hours.

Why does the US hate cycling so much?

I read comments sections and in a normal world, some of them would be considered terroristic threats. I just can't understand why people hate cyclists to this degree that they want to murder rhem and sometimes do.

Portuguese Heavy Metal Label Doubles Down on Working with russian Artists, Seems to Claim They Don't Care About Sanctions, either. Then goes into whataboutism regarding russian atrocities.

and of course, doesn't just state their conscience, but it's basically a Gaza thing and all this means they pretty likely don't believe in Ukraine's right to exist and defend itself.

This is a wild case of whataboutism.

The label is Hypnotic Dirge Records.

Is the Fake Stanton Bikes Still in Operation by that German Company While the Real One is Still Operated by Dan Stanton Himself?

I remember the controversy and I just visited that German company's site that looks broken and like it wasn't updated in years.

So has there been any resolution?

Can any FAs explain the predilection towards extreme black and white thinking and difficulty with holding multiple truths at the same time?

Background: I knew my avoidant years before her avoidance hardened. She was able to hold multiple, complex truths about situations together at the same time and process them. The last time she returned to me after FIVE YEARS, she had visible difficulty in holding multiple truths together at the same time and exhibited extreme black and white thinking to the point she actually appeared perpetually confused.

Is anyone able to discuss how this develops and how it appears in the inner world and what happens regarding it through the process of healing? This concept has been touched upon in some studies, as well as clinical and professional literature on avoidants, but often doesn't go deep.

The references:

https://www.socialpsychology.jp/jssppr/articles/yang-f-oshio-a-2025/

https://waseda.elsevierpure.com/en/publications/not-feeling-safe-enough-to-explore-more-aspects-dichotomous-think/

https://www.virascience.com/en/paper/identifying-and-comparison-of-adolescent-girls-perceiving-of-family-conflicts-cognitive-emotional-and-behavioral-themes-according-to-preoccupied-and-avoidant-attachment-styles/

One of the most universal elements of the analysis of people with avoidant attachment styles is the existence of dichotomous thinking, aka black and white thinking.  This is seen as a fundamental element in how avoidants thi k and behave and process information snd further studies have discussed issues in cognition that could explain how avoidance also bleeds into other areas of life outside of the interrelationsal space.

"The present study explored the relationship between attachment style, dichotomous thinking, and resilience. Cross-sectional data from 3,760 participants were used for analysis. The results showed that attachment anxiety, not avoidance, had a statistically significant negative correlation with dichotomous thinking. Both attachment anxiety and avoidance had significant correlations with subscales of dichotomous thinking, though in different directions. Dichotomous thinking, preference for dichotomy, and profit-loss thinking were significantly associated with resilience, yet dichotomous belief was negatively associated with resilience. Attachment anxiety had a negative impact on resilience by increasing the level of dichotomous belief and a positive impact on resilience by increasing the level of preference for dichotomy. Attachment avoidance could have a negative impact on resilience by decreasing the level of preference for dichotomy and increasing the level of dichotomous belief. These findings suggest that dichotomous belief could be one shared feature both dimensions of insecure attachment."

My avoidant returned after nearly five years after a very sloppy discard, sideways apologizing for 2020. I still find this wild. How long long after discard have your reconnection attempts been?

Even other avoidants can't understand that she came back after five years and neither can I.

How does your shingles pain(neuralgia first appear? Out of nowhere then to 100, or gradual?

In reconstructing my previous PHN that may have been undiagnosed, I have at least two in incidents where I was doing absolutely nothing and just sitting there with no movement and the pain instantly started and lasted weeks to one lasting 9 months.

Most other incidents started gradually and also lasted months and I think, on average, my neuralgia lasts 4-5 months anyhow.

I saw a bodycam video 1-2 weeks ago where the police k-9 began playing with a very friendly local dog during an apprehension and arrest and the cop was telling others to shoot the other dog (they didn't) because he had no control over his K-9. Anyone know the video?

These cops are fucking sick. The other dog was just doing dog things and playing and the police dog was poorly trained.
