I know that actual tobacco bitters are a bad idea, so whats the best brand for tobacco-like bitters? Im between the Bitter Queens and 1821 ones, but im open to suggestions.

I tried to play Super Mario Eclipse on my GCLoader via Swiss( v0.6r2073), and it booted the first time, but i set it to 60fps/16:9 in the in-game settings and it ran pretty slowly, so i turned it off. Every time i try to boot after that i get a black screen.

I tried deleting the save file from my memcardpro afterwards too to see if it was the settings that were causing it to not boot, but that didnt help.

Anyone here had any luck getting this working on real hardware with a similar setup?

I've been running Knulli for a while and I love being able to boot directly into splore with a custom Pico-8 boot screen.

But I've heard a few people recommending MuOS instead; is it worth switching? And can it do a custom boot screen/boot directly into splore?

After making this post i bought a 5v/1a charger, and it seems to only be charging while the screen is on. When i leave it alone i noticed no progress in charging (although i noticed the light turned off around 10%), but every time i pressed the power button and the screen turned on it jumped up a percent.

What am i doing wrong here?

I have a Sharp 702 with a bad gumstick battery, and ive seen some replacements that use usb-c for charging.

Are those good/worth it vs a traditional gumstick battery? Any danger involved with usb-c charging vs traditional?

Guessing it's gonna be impossible to get a seat anywhere, but curious if anyone has any ideas regardless.

My first thought was Raleigh Times but im assuming that's gonna be packed, same with Player's Retreat.

Im just trying and failing to think of somewhere like the above two places: sports-y enough that theyll be showing the game and canes fans will show up to watch it, good food/beer, but not so crazy that i can actually get a seat.

Basically an impossible combination of things lol.

Most of the top ranking tunes seem to be broken to the point of being too easy to win with, or tailor-made to guarantee three-stars on speed traps/danger signs.

I used this to patch both the launch and rev 1 versions of SM64 3D, and both boot to a white screen on my DS Lite/DSPico. All my other non-romhack games work fine.

Is this a limitation of the DSPico or do i just have a bad rom?

I need to change my air filter on my 2017 X1, and the last similar thread i saw on here seemed to recommend Mahle the most.

Is that still the case or would yall recommend a different brand?

For a while i was using a Dell 2007fpb for tate games, but mine died on me.

I was originally gonna replace it with the same thing/something similar, but research made me realize (which in hindsight is obvious now) that most of the 4:3 panels of that era had pretty poor input lag.

Id like to get something that fills the screen as much as possible, since ill primarily be using it with my MiSTer, but i also dont want to get something laggy.

Is there anything 4:3 that's good enough to use with shmups? Or should i compromise and get something like 16:10 or even 16:9 and just deal with the black bars?

Ive struggled with frozen cocktails for a while, but i saw a recommendation to check the Liquid Intelligence section on it and lo and behold found a tip i cant believe i didnt think of myself: pre-freeze everything but the citrus and adding the citrus when you blend. Brilliant!

Im hoping this will become my go-to method for doing frozen drinks (maybe adding some xanthum gum at blending time too), but im debating on what containers to use for batch freezing. Id like to avoid disposable things like plastic bags, but as the book points out getting the air out matters for drinks that can oxidize.

Any suggestions for freezable containers thatre reusable and can hold a good amount of mix?

My Dell crapped out on me and refuses to power on, so ive been looking for a replacement. I plan to use it exclusively with arcade cores, mainly in Tate mode. Ideally id like to have as little letterboxing/pillarboxing as possible, so im looking for either a 4:3 or 16:10 monitor.

Right now im leaning towards the Asus ProArt PA248QV since i see that recommended a lot, so im curious if anyone on here either has personal experience with it or has other recommendations.

Anyone know who did this translation and where to find it?

Any good suggestions for places to buy a good cloth or woven belt? I tend to like ones that have a little bit of a pattern, e.g. a stripe in the middle, but I'm not too picky.
