As you all know, until now the Dutch Tulipmania has been the gold standard for asset bubbles, with some people spending enough money to buy a house on single tulip bulbs.

Which was why I was interested to note the following article:

'Magnificent 7' earnings rush reveals AI spending surge, with hyperscaler capex set to reach $725 billion in 2026

This is equivalent to HALF the $1.45 trn GDP of the Netherlands.

When this bubble implodes it is going to be spectacular, and we're not even going to get any pretty flowers out of it.
