These guys and their Shaolin Temples were the og martial artists. And thanks to them, and efforts of Bruce Lee especially, Martials Arts became critcally acclaimed in the west, and then from their, globally.

I live in a small country where everything is sameish anywhere you go.
But the US is huge, I forget it's bigger than the whole of the EU. It seems like it's like 50 small countries all bound by a common language and currency. And is also the only country i've seen with basically every climate... snow covered mountains to scorching deserts to big cities to pristine beaches and tropical paradises like hawaii to a winter wonderland like alaska. Maybe true rainforests like in south america is the only exception?
You could probably spend your life just travelling america and probably never get bored.

I am western of first gen Indian origin. My girlfriend is western of first gen Turkish-Cypriot origin.
Sometimes she likes to take digs at me calling me a 'lil pakistani baby' or making such jokes to wind me up cause she knows it's quite cheeky, waits for some kind of response then usually laughs or something if she doesn't really get one. She does it a fair bit and I usually passively shake my head or laugh along since i'm quite passive even though I found it a little bit annoying which I guess is the point, but one time she poked fun at me at the wrong time, and I said 'what about you, I can't decide whether you look more like a mongolian war lord or japanese samurai' hinting at the slightly east asian features some turkish people have. And she lost it and has barely been talking to me the same ever since telling me what I said is 'out of order' two days ago only replying with one word texts. Should I just say sorry for over-reacting as it clearly bothers her more than it does me or tell her to stop being such a hypocrite and a cry baby?

Most of the repslies I have heard of centre around how 'difficult' it is, and yet Apple have built a UNIX smartphone, and previously, wi-fi equipment too.
Even Linux has succeeded in both. Apple has proven it can be done for UNIX too.

US is the most powerful military force and economy in the world, the Britsh crown own 9/10 of the world offshore jurisdictions, they represent Germany's most immediate cultural predecessors along with canada, australia and nz. Meanwhile most of Europe ie romansh is related to arabic other near eastern cultures.
If Germany, and their filthy rich peers in lichtenstein and switzerland were to make their own federation, perhaps with the dutch too, it would be the most powerful union perhaps in history - in terms of intelligence networking, tecgnological, economic and militray might, and pure wealth.
But instead Germany is content frollicking with these simpletons in Europe - Spain, Italy, France etc that have no ambition beyond going for a little itty bitty eco friendly bike ride through a flower park, drinking wine for breakfast and eating grapes in the sun, meanwhile Communist China is trying to take over the entire world.

I tried to learn German. Only other European Language I know is English.
I find German is difficult. It's grammatical syntax seems quite Similar to English compared to Romansh based languages that I studied for a few days. However it's not short and to the point like English but rather I find it can tend to really drag on any single point you hear someone make in German - like you think they are done but they just carry on like 'hang on, i'm no done yet' still continuing to add to the complex description and long hauled spelling.
I've been learning solely through free youtube tutorials and wondered if there are some school level books I could use (like national curriculum books) or even a fun game or app I can use to make the process more fun and interesting.
