Diffley construction update (from Dakota County)

You can subscribe to construction updates from Dakota County, and I just got this about five minutes ago:

>Construction Schedule

>Oct 2 – 10

>Diffley Road, outside lane (right-lane) closures in both directions:

>·         Removing the top layer of asphalt starting from the east end (by the 35E exists) and working westbound

>·         Paving the outside lanes will follow the removals

>·         Pavement marking will be placed towards the end of the week

>All work is weather dependent

Avoid Diffley if possible! (Wednesday 9/30)

Right now (around 6:00pm), the stop lights at the 35E interchange and Johnny Cake are flashing red and the construction crews are not allowing turns onto Johnny Cake. It's still one lane in each direction and they are milling/repaving the intersections, so it's a mess.

On the plus side, maybe this means that they'll be done with the project soon?

Weapons sometimes jam vs. reload all at the same time: Which do you hate more?

I feel if one of my weapons is jammed I can at least fight off the bugs with one of them that's working. I wish Management would give me better equipment!

Literally misdelivered to the wrong address; not the house number on the label, two days in a row.

What do I have to do to get the driver to look at the number on the house before they leave it on the wrong porch?

The hotdogs I had yesterday at Rogers Centre

Went to the Jays’ game last night and had to try some top dog recommendations.
Top left: ACE dog = onions, peppers, nacho cheese, tortilla chips
Top right: Maple Bacon Dog = maple flavored bacon crumbles and cheese
Bottom: Schneider’s ballpark dogs with onion and mustard

The Schneiders were the best. Maybe I’m a purist (i.e. boring) but the others just weren’t what I expected in a dog at the park.

Edit: Today is street meat day. I hear THOSE are the real Toronto dogs
