11/22/2025 Stray- Caller reporting brindle medium sized dog gets loose from property across the street and chases after colony cats and has almost killed them.
12/27/2025- Adopted from BARC

๐ Shelter Notes:
11/22/2025: When I approached kennel, dog came to the front, loose body and tail wags. I easily leashed her up and she walked to back intake. She sat calmly while I worked her up. She loves treats and ate them readily after work up. Then walked her back to her kennel on a loose leash. She walked right in.
11/30/2025: Friendly, loose leash, slow waggy tail with baby talking. Placed her in an outside run.
5/12/2026: very relaxed doing intake no restraint...
5/13/2026: Greeted me at the front of the kennel with an open mouth, soft eyes, and neutral body. Easily leashed, walked with loose leash outside. Leashed walked due to previous bite history. Very wiggly jumping around in the grass, and wagging her tail with open mouth and soft eyes. Easily returned to kennel.
5/14/2026: 05/14/26 10:09 lying down on her blanket throughout cleaning, except when it was her turn to go outside when I approached kennel she was already standing on hind legs with wagging tail at the kennel door. Wiggly body, fast pace out to runs and back, super affectionate and wiggly.
5/15/2026: greeted me with a loose wiggly body, walked on a semi lose leash to and from the runs. Is very sweet and will rub against you for attention
5/17/2026: dog was in the kennel sitting and as i approached and opened the kennel door she walked towards me once i leashed her she walked lose leash to the run and back to her kennel.
5/18/2026: Walks loosely as I retreive her from runs and place her in a kennel.
5/19/2026: at front of kennel, relaxe body, neutral eyes and ears. easy to leash. walked on a loose leash to and from runs. quiet in kennel
5/20/2026: Behavior has stayed the same. at front of kennel, relaxe body, neutral eyes and ears. easy to leash. due to weather dog could not go out into runs, dog placed front paws on me licking arm, allowed pets leaning into them. walked back into kennel with no issues.
๐ Medical Notes:
11/23/2025: Dog is possibly pregnant per vet. Scheduled OHE if move adopt and behavior good. Heartworm high positive.
11/26/2025: Spay performed. Monitoring included pulse ox and EKG. Routine OVH with absorbable subcutaneous closure. Given Ketaset, Midazolam, Ketofen, Carprofen, and fluids.
11/27/2025: OHE incision repair due to hematoma of ventral incision. Resutured SQ.
11/28/2025: Left eye has moderate watery discharge and squinting. Mild upper entropion noted. Placed on vet eval for possible medication/treatment.
12/6/2025: Large amount of watery discharge from left eye this morning. Placed on erythromycin ophthalmic ointment.
12/7/2025: Heartworm treatment consent form uploaded. Scanned record HTW TX CONS.
5/12/2026: Weighed 47.0 lbs. Vaccinated with DA2PP-V, Bordetella, and Rabies. Dewormed with Pyrant. Given Advantage Multi Dog 20.1-55LB flea prevention. Heartworm test: High Positive.
5/14/2026: Weighed 47.0 lbs. Tail is more limp distally but dog is still able to defecate and urinate without contacting the tail and wags tail. Nonpainful with palpation and no abnormal deviations. Possible muscle fatigue of tail or previous injury. Started Carprofen 100mg SID x 3 days. Heartworm test: High Positive.
