📝 Shelter Notes:

11/22/2025: When I approached kennel, dog came to the front, loose body and tail wags. I easily leashed her up and she walked to back intake. She sat calmly while I worked her up. She loves treats and ate them readily after work up. Then walked her back to her kennel on a loose leash. She walked right in.

11/30/2025: Friendly, loose leash, slow waggy tail with baby talking. Placed her in an outside run.

5/12/2026: very relaxed doing intake no restraint...

5/13/2026: Greeted me at the front of the kennel with an open mouth, soft eyes, and neutral body. Easily leashed, walked with loose leash outside. Leashed walked due to previous bite history. Very wiggly jumping around in the grass, and wagging her tail with open mouth and soft eyes. Easily returned to kennel.

5/14/2026: 05/14/26 10:09 lying down on her blanket throughout cleaning, except when it was her turn to go outside when I approached kennel she was already standing on hind legs with wagging tail at the kennel door. Wiggly body, fast pace out to runs and back, super affectionate and wiggly.

5/15/2026: greeted me with a loose wiggly body, walked on a semi lose leash to and from the runs. Is very sweet and will rub against you for attention

5/17/2026: dog was in the kennel sitting and as i approached and opened the kennel door she walked towards me once i leashed her she walked lose leash to the run and back to her kennel.

5/18/2026: Walks loosely as I retreive her from runs and place her in a kennel.

11/28/2025: Left eye has moderate watery discharge and squinting. Mild upper entropion noted. Placed on vet eval for possible medication/treatment.

12/6/2025: Large amount of watery discharge from left eye this morning. Placed on erythromycin ophthalmic ointment.

5/12/2026: Weighed 47.0 lbs. Vaccinated with DA2PP-V, Bordetella, and Rabies. Dewormed with Pyrant. Given Advantage Multi Dog 20.1-55LB flea prevention. Heartworm test: High Positive.

5/14/2026: Weighed 47.0 lbs. Tail is more limp distally but dog is still able to defecate and urinate without contacting the tail and wags tail. Nonpainful with palpation and no abnormal deviations. Possible muscle fatigue of tail or previous injury. Started Carprofen 100mg SID x 3 days. Heartworm test: High Positive.

5/13/2026: Large gray and large brown in front of this property; preventing mail from being delivered. Seen next to field as well.

📝 Shelter Notes:

5/16/2026: When i approach him, he will have whale eyes, and a tense body. I approach him and he looks at me with a side eye. i kept trying to leash him, but he kept avoiding it, i decided to let him be due to keeping him keeping his kennel clean.

5/17/2026: This dog was a Move Adopt this morning and was walked by another ACT to their new kennel in South B. As I was walking with them, I noticed that the dog was walking with a crouched body and whale eyes. Also they did not want to walk with me or the other ACT. The other ACT gave them treats and they would eat them slowly while walking slowly with me and the other ACT. They had issues placing them in the kennel and needed help. Throughout the day, He has been laying down on the floor quietly with a sideway stare towards anyone that passes by. Had no issues walking with a volunteer in the afternoon.

5/18/2026: Dog had whale eyes, nerves body, kept his head down. Will stay laying down on his bed.

5/19/2026: As I was walking through b row I noticed Grayson was whale eyed and trembling in kennel. I removeed cover and slowly opened kennel door and kneeled down calling out to dog using baby talk and he began to tremble even more. I tried tossing treats along with kissy sounds and baby talk to try and get dog to come to me but did not work. ACT stated that dog does not get up and had to clean around him due to being scared in kennel.

5/20/2026: on video curled up in bed, not moving, furrowed eyebrows, not taking treats, flinching, and licking lips

5/20/2026: trembling body, tightly tucked in tail, whale eyes, head turned away. once leash dog slowly got up but pancaked on the floor as soon as he was out of the kennel and would not walk any further. tethered to wall and was able to clean kennel with no issues.

5/10/2026: A bit timid but friendly. Walked with loose leash, tail tucked when passing other dogs. Sat out at the run gate, loose leash back inside and into kennel. Another dog was lunging and snarling at her when walking back in, and she stopped with tail tucked, was reaching neck trying to sniff him, setting him off further. Had to pull her away.

5/12/2026: dog was behind the kennel and as i leashed her she walked slowly out the kennel and as i baby talked and other act was standing behind her she walked and as i placed her in the run she roamed and going back to her she came to the front and i walked her lose leash back inside.

5/13/2026: Greeted me at the front of her kennel with a closed mouth, soft eyes, and neutral body, and a soft wagging tail when baby talked. Easily leashed, walked with loose leash outside to the runs. Mostly kept to self outside in the runs. Easily leashed and returned to kennel.

5/17/2026: Painted in kennel in the am after am feeding. Was nonstop jumping up and high pitched vocalizing throughout am cleaning. I was able to leash them she walked loosely to the runs. As I walked away she began to be vocal again. Walked back to kennel loosely. Placing on AE to monitor.

5/18/2026: Fed in the am and spot cleaned to prevent penny from painting. Penny painted in kennel after feeding , panting heavily in front of kennel with dilated pupils. I leashed her up and walked her outside. She was stressed out while being outside and began to high pitch bark. I brought her back in and moved her kennel closer to where i start cleaning in the am to see if taking her out first will help prevent her from stressing out. As I placed into new kennel she was high pitched vocalizing in kennel.

5/19/2026: Penny was high pitched barking in kennel in the am. I was able to leash , she was little flinchy with whale eyes, once leashed walked her out to the runs. Once I placed her in the run she went on to go sniff around in the grassy area. As I came back for her she had dilated pupils with heavy panting and appears to be stressed out. I walked her back to kennel. After am walking she began jumping up in kennel vocalizing. Kennel was covered and had offered enrichment before heading to lunch. As I came back to check on her she had painted her kennel and spilled her water everywhere in her kennel where her bedding was soaked. I took her out to the runs to clean kennel and she was vocalizing in the run pacing back and forth. I had to offer her a bucket instead to try and help prevent her from spilling her water again.

I feel like I don't even need to explain what drew me to Susana girl because LOOK AT HER! She's absolutely stunning. And add a little cropped tail that is wiggling in excitement because you just baby talked to her? Add to cart immediately. This girl walks like a dream on the leash and is so gentle and sweet. I tried to get her into the grass for pics so I could really contrast her beautiful markings for photos but she informed me that the grass was much too icky for a princess like her. Even with dirt as her background, she is absolutely stunning in her photos. We used her for multiple temp tests with other dogs because she is such a calm, even temperament. She was very excited to meet the other dogs and was so playful if they were down for that! She seems like a really fun girl who would love to join for some fun outdoor activities but would also be happy to lounge on the couch and cuddle with her humans. We love when a stunning girl also has a beautiful personality to match! I hope that this sweet girl can make it out of the shelter, she absolutely deserves that and more🤍

📝 Shelter Notes:

4/27/2026: Was in the back of the kennel, tense body, tail low, muzzled and carried.

4/29/2026: Dog allowed me to leash and she walked out following me on loose leash, low wagging tail and neutral body. Dog walked to and from the runs no issues.

5/3/2026: While walking back from the outside runs, Susanna saw another dog and was redirected to me by me with a light tug on the leash and then she turned around and vocalized towards the same dog. She continued this action of turning around and vocalizing at the dog while walking in the distance. I tried redirecting with treats but she ignored them. Getting closer to the door, Susanna saw another dog in the kennel and stopped, got stiff and started low growling and huffing at them as we passed them by. Made into Adopt Eval.

5/4/2026: Susanna greeted at the front of the kennel as she presented loose body, wagging tail and soft close mouth. Walked gently on the leash and maintained calm and quiet in kennel.

5/5/2026: Susanna greeted me at the on all fours with a open mouth smile, soft eyes, neutral body, low wagging tail, and ears down. She did a good job of keeping her kennel clean and very friendly towards me as I leash her to take her out. Susanna was walked on a loose leash and paid little attention to other dogs as she passed them by and vice versa.

5/14/2026: dog was in the kennel and when i leashed her she walked lose leash to the run and back to her kennel.

5/17/2026: Susanna was walked on a loose leash and energetic towards me and anyone that walks up to her on her way to and from the outside runs. She did a good job of keeping her kennel clean overnight and paying little attention other dogs as she passed them by and vice versa.

5/18/2026: Ms. Susanna had a happy tail, wiggly body, once leash she was energetic, would become jumpy, as she walked to the runs. Coming back she was more relax and on a lose leash.

5/6/2026: S/O: clear nasal and sniffling. Assessment: DDx CIRD. Plan: Move to treatment room and initiate treatment; Rx Doxycycline 200 mg SID x 10 days.

5/16/2026: S/O: No URI symptoms noted. Assessment: Normal. Plan: Move out of treatment room and continue treatment in kennel.

5/11/2026: Fenna was laying down when approaching the kennel. I was able to place a leash on her and she walk out of the kennel readily. Fenna walked well on a loose leash to the dog run and back to her kennel, she is mostly quiet in the kennel through out the day.

5/12/2026: Fenna was laying quietly in her kennel i went inside to take some pictures and interact with her. this girl is very friendly and goofy, she loves to lick you as soon as you stop petting her. she also started to play with her toy and initiate play with me as i sat with her.

5/13/2026: Ms. Fenna is quite for most of the day, she will occasionally go towards the back of her kennel and start to bark and growl at the dog that's behind her. I toss treats and she does not care for them. Walking she does walk on a lose leash and is easy to leash.

5/14/2026: Calm in kennel keeps clean overnight will walk forward but will stop for treats when in the runs she found a toy and brought it over to me trying to play . walking back with wagging tail goes into kennel and is quiet throughout day.

5/16/2026: Fenna was walked on a loose leash and neutral to and from the outside runs. While in her kennel throughout the morning, she has been forward vocalizing at the dog on the other side of their doggy door. I would throw some treats into her kennel and she would eat them but once she hears the other dog close to the door she ignores the treats and begins to low growl and vocalized towards them. Even ignored the extra enrichment Kong, she went back to vocalizing at the other dog.

5/17/2026: Dog was in front of the kennel and when i leashed her she walked loose leash to the run and back.

5/17/2026: When walking through row I could hear a dog barking, growling and scratching at the guillotine and when I walked around she was standing at the guillotine while having her back hackles raised and stiffened high erect tail.

5/3/2026: Annie was vocal and alarm barking in kennel but once outside she became very sweet, accepted pets, and walked well on leash. Very friendly and wiggly during afternoon interaction.

5/5/2026: Annie greeted volunteer with a nervous stare and tucked tail initially but calmed down quickly. Easily leashed and mostly kept to herself in runs with occasional fence sniffing.

5/14/2026: Wiggly body, soft open mouth standing in front of kennel waiting to be leashed. Walked outside on a loose leash and became very wiggly and flippy returning from the runs.

5/15/2026: Initially leashed and walked nicely out of kennel but became jumpy and spun in circles from excitement. Once outside she walked with a semi-tight leash and later walked calmly back into kennel.

5/16/2026: Annie greeted volunteer with a loose body, wagging bobtail, and soft open mouth. Walked on a loose leash while following a trail of treats and sat quietly inside outside run. Barked when volunteer walked by later.

5/17/2026: Annie was open mouth panting with a neutral body when approached this morning. She leashed well and walked to the run on a semi-loose leash, occasionally jumping up at me, she ignored treats. Coming back in she exhibited the same behavior. Since coming in she's been on and off vocalizing.

5/17/2026: High pitched barking when volunteer entered row, standing on hind legs with ears visible over kennel cover. Once uncovered she had a loose wiggly tail and soft open mouth. Walked very well with loose leash back to eval.

5/11/2026: 2 pitbull dogs getting out, dogs are aggressive. The dogs are able to get out of the fence and the dogs can get out and go back n please talk to owner about getting gate to keep dogs in the yard. 2nd request dogs are getting out, fence is broken.

5/12/2026: Pancaked in kennel, had to carry him. Not walking on leash.

5/13/2026: Dog was in the kennel tensed body, whale eyes and trembling. As I leashed he froze not wanting to walk out the kennel, I baby talked and squatted down but he ignored. I walked into the kennel behind him and he slowly took a few steps out of the kennel. I walked in front of he so he could follow but stayed behind, I again got behind him and he took a few more steps.

5/15/2026: Was placed in outdoor run as a move adopt in the morning. Presented a timid body, tucked in tail, lowered head and avoiding eye contact. Once leashed walked on a slowly loose leash but would occasionally begin to pull back on leash. He ignored trail of treats and baby talk so i would give him a couple seconds and then he would start walking again.

5/9/2026: At the back of the kennel, low growling as I leash her. I used a long leash to lasso her, she ran out the kennel with her tail tucked in, crouched body into a new kennel.

5/10/2026: When approaching and opening kennel animal was laying in the middle of kennel, as I move forward animal stood up and move toward the back, I was still able leash once on leash animal has a slow pace when leaving kennel, animal show no interest in any's of treat, once animal was run animal was searching a spot to be relieved it self, once done animal sat in the grass for while before returning to kennel.

5/11/2026: Near the back of kennel came forward slow pace loose body posture.

5/15/2026: Timid body language in kennel with whale eyes. I opened the kennel and presented my leash. She avoided my leash at first but once leash she slowly walked out the kennel. She walked with a lowered head and semi-tucked tail as I took her outside and placed her in a run. When retrieving her, she continued to show timid behavior as I walked her back inside.

5/6/2026: Weighed 50.0 lbs. Intake condition normal. Temperature normal. Intact female. Vaccinated with DA2PP-V, Bordetella, Rabies 1 year, dewormed, and given Pyrantel and Advantage Multi flea prevention. Heartworm test negative/NAD. Given 2.00 TRANQ2.

5/12/2026: Beige bulldog on callers yard. She said it appears that someone "beat it up" something wrong with its front leg

5/13/2026: Dog is in the kennel laying down, opening the kennel door he gets up and greets me. Allows me to leash and walks out of the kennel with a neutral body.

🚑 Medical Notes:

5/12/2026: 73.0 lbs. Heartworms. Broken left front leg. Opened wound on right back leg.

5/12/2026: Dog is friendly, allowed examination and work up without resistance, eats canned food readily. Left front limb is nonweight bearing and has severe soft tissue swelling. There is a mild intermittent bunny hop of bilateral hindlimbs. Full thickness abrasions with crusting of left lateral thorax extending to ventral chest. Assessment: fracture LF limb, pelvis injury vs. dysplasia, road rash.

Medications/Treatment: Carprofen 75mg administered upon intake, Carprofen 150mg SID x 7 days, Gabapentin 300mg BID x 7 days, Cephalexin 1,000mg BID x 14 days, KDT, Ketofen, Carprofen100, Carprofen75, Gabapentin 300MG, Cepha500. Vaccinated Rabies, DA2PP-V, Bordetella, dewormed, HWTEST LOW POS, Pyrant, Advantage Multi Dog 55.1-88lb.

5/13/2026: 73.0 lbs. Injured. Rads of pelvis/left front limb. Transverse fracture of left distal tibia and radius. Adequate coverage of bilateral hips. Recommend radiologist consultation. Recommend ortho consultation.

🚨 Recommend rescue plea, no extensions, humane PTS if not tagged by rescue due to severity of injury.

5/4/2026: Wiggly body, walked with tight leash out to runs and back.

5/7/2026: greets at the front of the kennel with a loose wiggly body and a wagging tail. Shes easy to leash, and walks on a tight leash to and from the runs.

5/10/2026: Approaching the kennel, Molly was greeting me at the kennel gate with a forward body, dilated eyes, high wagging tail, and ears up. Once I opened the gate, she jumped on me and made an attempt to push out of her kennel but I was able to leash her and walk her outside. Molly was walked on a semi-loose leash due to forward pulling on the leash and in multiple directions to and from the outside runs.

5/11/2026: Molly jumped on me and made an attempt to push out but was quickly leashed by me and taken to the outside runs. She was overly aroused on the leash; tight leash due to forward pulling and in multiple directions, jumping on me, and spinning in circles. Presented with dilated eyes, heavy panting, forward body, pacing in run and kennel. While in the outside runs, she would start to jump on the run gate and paw at me and the gate when I am in front of her. I offered treats and she ignored them on her way to and from the outside runs. I had to harness hard to have better control of walking her. Made into Adopt Eval.

5/13/2026: jumping on kennel door when trying to leash her, holding door with leg i am able to leash her when walking she is going forward. in the outside runs vocalizing and jumping on kennel door vocal in her kennel towards other dogs as well trying to leash her to come back she is still jumping upwards.
