Is it possible for companies to develop more powerful DDR4 RAM or is DDR5 necessary to increase power?

Reason I'm asking this is because I'm seeing companies starting to roll out DDR4 because DDR5 is so damn expensive. Is it possible that companies pushed DDR5 too quickly and that we should still be trying to make the best of DDR4 and AM4 chipsets first instead of trying to force DDR5 and AM5 and Intel's equivalent?

Anyone have a SLOW tutorial on using speed hooks?

I've been looking on YouTube and every "tutorial" is like 30 seconds long and they go at full speed so I can't see what the hell they're doing. I can't figure out how to start.

Best bands similar to The Black Queen

I know The Black Queen aren't prog metal, but I enjoy them a lot and I feel like many of you probably have the same music taste I do.

I love the dark, ambient, moody electronic sound with hauntingly beautiful vocals that Greg eminates.

Boss difficulty is a strange thing

I played through this game 3 times last year and I think I used like 5 tries in total across all playthroughs. Orphan of Kos took me so many tries. Him and Ludwig both but I think Kos was worse.

I'm on a new playthrough and Laurance has taken me probably 10 tries and I still haven't beaten him, and I just beat Kos first try.

I can't tie my hair into a bun. Am I stupid?

I'm getting ready to enter a construction trade next week and I need to be able to tie my hair into a bun to put through the framing of my hard hat. If I put a hard hat on with my hair down it falls off. I'm trying to figure out how to tie a bun, but whenever I tie anything behind me, my fingers just have no idea what the hell they're doing. It tooks me forever to figure out how to tie an apron behind my back.

Anyone got any recommendations for Redwings?

I have a pair of Thorogood's that I was given last year and they're alright, but they're not the most comfortable things ever. I'm looking for a great pair of steel toes. I start my electrical apprenticeship next week and I'm looking to stay comfortable while doing it. I'm hesitant to buy anything without consultation first because none of the boots on their websites are rated extremely high.

How difficult are pure combat runs?

All of my playthroughs have been stealth oriented. How much more difficult is to go loud? I know in Thief you get punished hard for not being stealthy.

Does fighting the enemies when you meet the Empress ruin the Clean Hands achievement?

I don't plan on doing Clean Hands this playthrough but it would be good information for the future.

I can't seem to remove Bluetooth devices from my receiever

I have a Pioneer DMH-1500NEX. I hate this fucking thing but it was recommended to me by someone that helped me pick out all of my audio components. Anyway, I want to remove devices under Bluetooth on my receiever, but the Bluetooth icon in the settings is greyed out. I searched how to fix this on Google and it said that the vehicle needs to be in park. The vehicle is in park and it's still greyed out. It also said that perhaps the sensor that detects if your vehicle is in park was installed incorrectly. How do I go about checking this and perhaps fixing it. I want to preface this by saying I have zero installation experience when it comes to cars.

Anyone else struggle on Vicar Amelia while using the cane?

I'm doing a playthrough and I'm trying to use a weapon I haven't used much in the past while also choosing Waste of Skin as my class. I currently have 14END, 17VIT, and 20SKL. I also have my cane at +3 and have some pretty basic gems on it. Man, I am getting my ass KICKED. Vicar Amelia is generally somewhat tough for me but this is something else. I feel like I'm basically scratching her and the camera is fucking horrendous. I can't see shit because of her cloth physics in my face constantly.

For Bloodborne players: Does anyone know how to stop BBLauncher from resetting every startup?

I downloaded the launcher, applied all of my settings and mods, closed the launcher, and now the launcher has no idea where the game or emulator are.

Does anyone else struggle with Demon's Souls the most of any FromSoft game?

I've heard so many people talk about easy DeS is compared to the other games I and I HEAVILY disagree. Like it's not even close imo except maybe DS2.

The world tendency mechanic is polarizing, the level design is labyrinthian which comes down to taste but personally I hate mazes, the bosses are lame, the runbacks are blasphemous, having limited consumable healing items without any form of flask sucks...

Like I've played through every FromSoft title and their DLC multiple times except for DS2 (I tried), but I get like maybe two or three bosses into DeS and I quit every time. I think I've tried like 4 or 5 times now. I tried multiple times on the remake, and now I'm trying again on an emulator.

How do people find Armored Spider easy?

I find this boss EXTRORDINARILY difficult. Like, one of the hardest bosses in FromSoft's catalogue. I've attempted multiple playthroughs over the past several years and this boss kicks my ass EVERY playthrough. Even after knowing what this boss does it still kicks my ass.

Anyone know how to get Vanilla Matters working with Kentie's Launcher?

I have both installed in their proper locations. I went into Kentie's Launcher and selected the data directory for Vanilla Matters, but when I launch the game through Kentie's Launcher, it gives me an error that states 'Can't bind to native class VanillaMatters.table'.

I attempted to do some research to see if I could troubleshoot this myself, but I came up empty handed. Some people that have had issues similar to this with Deus Ex and other games in the past have recommended reinstalling the Microsoft Redistributable Packages, but the ones that people pointed to for Deus Ex specifically did not work. Any ideas? I'm all out of them.

I would just use the launcher that comes with Vanilla Matters, but the resolution only goes up to 1920x1080, and I am running at 3440x1440p which Kentie's Launcher supports.

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix my aspect ratio for Demon's Souls on RPCS3?

I have a 21:9 monitor running at 1440p. I went into Patch Manager on RPCS3 and I ticked the box for 21:9 (3440x1440p). When I load into the game. It has black bars on both sides of the screen and the game is squished so everything is skinnier.

I can't seem to find a way to enjoy Deus Ex GOTY

I've tried vanilla and got too lost and wasn't huge on a lot of the mechanics of the game. I tried GMDX and while it fixed a lot of the quality-of-life issues from vanilla I absolutely hate the AI. I know they have more natural pathing but it makes it a fucking nightmare to try to plan a situation stealthily. Is this game just my jam? I really wanted to like it cause I enjoyed HR and MD and I also really enjoy a lot of other immersive sims and imsim-lites, but this one just is not grabbing me regardless of how I change up the gameplay.

Is there a mod that makes it so run backs are less cumbersome?

I know some of you are probably going to crucify me for this but Demon's Souls is the one FromSoft Soulslike formula game that I struggle to enjoy. The main reason is because of how long the run backs are. Run backs are one of if not my least favorite aspects of these kinds of games and it feels like that's all this game is. I've told multiple people in the past that I would rather have a somewhat harder boss and have a bonfire, lamp, statue near the fog gate. I know this is kind of going against the formula of the game which is why I know some of you might be upset but I do want to play through this game I'm just struggling to find enjoyment in it.
