I think W2 is one of the hardest games I've ever played in my entire life

I've played every FromSoft Soulslike game except Demon's Souls and Dark Souls 2 like 5 times each at least. I find the majority of those games easier than this games. The hitboxes are whack, the amount of enemies they throw at you at once is insane, the boss fights are ridiculous so far... I want to finish this game so bad so I can get to Witcher 3 but it is fucking painful right now. My pride is telling me not to turn it down to easy but I feel like I might have to. I'm currently on normal. The problem is I've heard easy is a cake walk to the point where it's kind of boring. If this game was balanced more I think I'd love it but the balancing is fucking terrible.

Anyone know how to fix function/multimedia buttons on keyboard not working when playing W2?

I have a function button on my keyboard that I can hold and then press one of the function keys to pause and resume videos or music. Every other game I've played has allowed this feature except for Witcher 2. I'm not sure how to fix this.

First Letho fight in W2 makes me want to commit arson

This might be one of the most frustrating fights I've ever experienced in any game ever and I've played through every FromSoft Soulslike game aside from one multiple times. It wouldn't be so bad if the AOE on his Ignii wasn't bullshit. Shit is nowhere near me and it still hits me.

Quen not working properly in Witcher 2?

I activate Quen, I get the blue aura around me, I begin to attack an enemy and it just disappears. I don't get hit either. It just deactivates.

Best shop that does oil changes well and are also reasonably priced in 2026?

I already have a mechanic I trust and have him do work on my car when it's needed, but I'm wondering if there is a place I can find that does oil changes at a better price, that also won't butcher my car somehow.

Best tool belt suspenders that are legitamately comfortable?

I bought a Milwaukee tool belt that came with suspenders and while they claim to be padded they are so fucking uncomfortable. I've been trying to rock the tool belt without suspenders but my hips are starting to bother me. Is there a good pair of suspenders that are actually comfortable that don't cost a fortune?

I cannot figure out what amp to buy

I recently purchased a pair of HD 490 Pros. While they do sound pretty clean without an EQ they also sound kind of sterile. I turned up the bass a bit with Equalizer APO, and while the bass is definitely more prevalent now, I have noticed that in certain songs, the gain will peak and make the music much quieter unless I essentially eliminate the majority of the bass. I'm looking for a solid amp that won't tear my wallet open--between $100-200, maybe a bit more if I have to. I'm also looking to future proof a bit. I don't plan on upgrading my headphones again for a while, but in the off chance that I do, I want to be able to drive future upgrades fairly well without having to buy an entirely new amp setup. I don't know what brands or models are good so I'm kind of just shooting in the dark.

490 Pro vs MV1 vs Arya Stealth... Which is right for me?

I recently purchased the 490 Pros. They are DAMN comfortable, but if I had to be completely honest, I was somewhat disappointing with how they sound. They're very clear and clean, but they're kind of boring in my opinion. I was hoping for more low-end punch and rumble and they don't have much. I love for my high's to have great attack, but I also love for my bass to have some decent punch without sounding muddy. I was able to pull a little bit of bass out of the 490 with EQ, but it's still not the greatest.

I had posed the question yesterday about open-back headphones with great bass and I took the information I was given into consideration while also doing some research of my own. Some headphones I have been considered ordering and testing against the 490 are the MDR-MV1, Ananda Nano (or Stealth), or the Arya Stealth. I think I'm leaning more towards the Arya Stealth or the MV1 though. I've heard that the MV1 have a very fun sound but they aren't necessarily as detailed as the Arya. I've also heard the bass punch and rumble on the MV1 are incredible. I've heard the Arya have fantastic sound quality but they may not be as comfortable as the MV1 or 490 because the way they're shaped and their weight. However, I'm not usually wearing them non-stop all day. I usually take small breaks from my computer periodically on my days off when I'm not busy

I should also mention that I am using these primarily for music, gaming, and watching videos. Another reason I'm torn as to whether or not I should bite the bullet on the Arya is that I would need an amp to drive it, which is an added cost. I currently have a Motu M4 audio interface which is apparently not sufficient for the Arya but is fair for the 490. If any of you were to strongly recommend the Arya, how would I choose an amp? I've heard they can vary wildly with different features sets.

Ananda Nano vs HD490 Pro

I am trying to decide between these two headphones. The things I will be using these for is gaming, music, talking to friends, and watching videos. I have heard some people say that the Ananda Nano's have better sound quality and also punchier bass, while the 490 have a better sound stage. The real question is how much better is one category over the other for either headphone. Like what is the distance between sound quality between these two and what is the difference between sound stage. For instance, if the Anando Nano have significantly better sound quality while having a slightly worse soundstage, then I would probably go with this option. I'm just trying to figure out what the best bang for my buck is even if it means having a bit of a trade-off in one department, but I would rather have a small trade-off than a large one. One other thing is how much more comfortable are the 490 than the Nano?

How the hell do I file a claim online?

I purchased a pair of Shokz back in February. I purchased the warranty with it. I need to get a replacement because my case broke. I went to file a claim online, I get to the store selection screen, and I can't go any further. Is there like a hidden button I'm missing or something?

Is it possible to have open-back headphones with fair bass rumble and a great sound stage at a somewhat reasonable price?

I recently purchased a pair of 490 Pros, and while they are great headphones, I have to be totally honest, the bass is kind of disappointing. I am well aware that great bass is difficult (damn near impossible) to achieve on open-back headphones. However, when I was reading and watching reviews on these, people were saying they had excellent bass for open-back headphones. I was expecting more in all honesty. Do any headphones exist that have a similar sound stage to these while also having better bass and remaining under $500 USD? And another question I have is how significant will the bass improvement be if I were to fork over the extra ~$100? Would it even be worth it or would it just be better to stick with what I have?

Are there any estimates as to how many of the firefighters we see in the Naudet footage inside the lobby perished?

I sincerely apologize if this question may appear to be insensitive. It's just a question that always runs through my mind whenever I see that footage. The ones I know of are Kevin Pfiefer, Orio Palmer, and father Michael Judge.

How would the landscape of metal today look today without Chuck, and what do you think Chuck would think of the landscape today as it is?

I wanted to pose these hypothetical and philosophical questions because it something I often wonder to myself. Would the more extreme aspects of metal cease to exist without his influence? Would it remain the same? Would he be proud of the effect he has had on his predecessors? Would he be ashamed?

I'm having a hard time getting into Frontierer and I hate it

Dillinger Escape Plan is easily one of my favorite bands of all time. I don't think they ever put out a weak album. I also love a lot of Car Bomb's stuff and I also really enjoy other bands such as Better Lovers, Greyhaven, Exotic Animal Petting Zoo, and Rolo Tomassi.

For whatever reason I can't seem to get into Frontierer. It's almost like they're TOO chaotic. Dillinger perfectly blended chaos and melody and Car Bomb matched it with Meta, but to me it kind of feels like Frontierer is a bunch of random notes and sounds with not much of an actual rhythm. Kind of just feels like they throw shit at the wall sometimes and hope it sticks. Not saying they're not talented musicians. Obviously having time changed and song structures like this is an arduaous task, but having melody is also very important, and from what I've listened to, this band lacks it significantly.

It fucking sucks because on paper I think I'd love this band. Dillinger/Greyhaven vocals with Car Bomb-esque instrumentation but it just doesn't gell well in my opinion.

Anyone got any combat tips?

I'm very used to complex yet simple aspect of Soulslike combat, and all of the abilities and upgrades in this game are somewhat overwhelming. I've kind of been getting my ass handed to me in the couple boss fights I've done. The dodge and roll is very strange to me. Also not really sure hot to allocate my skill points, what to invest in, and also what abilities to use on what enemies. I was dealing with a group of shield enemies and I could not figure out a super viable way to deal with them besides spamming RB+RT which felt cheap.

Anything else think delivering bounties is kind of a nightmare?

Maybe I haven't gotten far enough to gain an ability that makes this process easier but having to backtrack all the way back to the town where you got the bounty from to deliver the bounty is so damn annoying.

Any advice for or against the Senheisser 490 Pros?

I have my eyes set on the 490 Pros right now as I am an avid gamer and I also love music. I'm trying to decided if these headphones are worth the price point or if there is an alternative that is similar or better in quality while also being a similar or better price point. I currently have the 598SR that I bought like 10 years ago (give or take). I've heard people throw other hats in the ring including the 560 the 650 or the 6XX. I've heard that the 490 Pros are some of the most comfortable headphones for their price point, but that their sound profile might be a turnoff for some people and for their price might not be worth it. However, I've also heard others say they're worth their price point. I'm just kind of torn at the moment and am looking for a little guidance. Also I'm not dead set on Senheisser. If any of you have another suggestion I'm all ears.

Looking for an upgrade from my old 598SR (gaming/music)

*I have a pair of Senheisser 598SR that I purchased probably like 8-10 years ago now. I've loved my time with these things, but I think it's time I put them to rest. I can't tell if it's my cable or if the headphones are going, but the audio has been kind of fussy recently. I bought a replacement cable a couple days ago and it's doing the same shit which makes me think it might be a problem with the headphones themselves. I really don't want to have to buy a bunch of different cables to figure out what the problem is, and I think I'm due for an upgrade anyway.

I'm looking for open-backs preferably. I like being able to hear myself talk, and they also aren't as fatiguing in my experience. I like crisp, clear, clean highs but also a good amount of bass. I heard that's a bit harder to achieve with open-backs though. From what I read, it sounds like Beyerdynamic have decent bass, but the sound profile is somewhat "tinny" which I'm not very fond of. I also read that the Senheisser 560 are pretty incredible for their price but I've also heard they're not much different than what I have now. I think the two brand I have my eyes on right now are Senheisser again, or Beyerdynamic unless you guys have other suggestions. Please do not recommend me gaming headphones. I want studio-grade "audiophile" headphones. I find that they sound substantially better and they're also far more comfortable.

Anyone know how to get Speedhack to work?

I tried troubleshooting this for hours yesterday. I initially downloaded, the current version of Lazarus and compiled CheatEngine 7.5 using the source code on GitHub, well I got CE working and there was no Speedhack option. I was told to replace the SpeedHack file and that did not work. I searched online and found out that 7.4 has working Speedhack. I downloaded the proper version of Lazarus to compile 7.4 because the current version doesn't work with 7.4. I compiled 7.4, there is now a Speedhack button, but when I press it, it gives me an error code. What am I doing wrong? Am I missing something?
