I genuinely hate the interns in Seasons 4-5. They were annoying as hell and MAGIC having their own interns felt like a failed experiment

MAGIC were a mess as interns too but I don't remember Meredith Cristina Izzie George or even Alex being this bad with actual patients.

The Dave face transplant episode is probably the best example. They're calling this man "Blowhole" and then making jokes about it RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. Izzie literally has to tell one of them "Don't talk anymore. Ever." and somehow that still doesn't get through to them because they do it again later.

I also loved Izzie standing up for Lexie when Mark picked her for the surgery and the other interns immediately started saying she only got picked because she was sleeping with him. Izzie telling them to shut their mouths was so satisfying.

And I know the show even points out that MAGIC were a disaster too when they were interns. I'm not saying they were model interns. But there's something especially nasty about mocking a patient with a severely disfigured face while he's right there listening to you.

The only time I can remember one of MAGIC doing something similar was Alex in early Season 1 making fun of Annie Connors and calling her lazy for letting her tumor get that big. And Alex was deliberately written as an asshole at that point.

These interns were ridiculous. I have no idea how half of them even got into Seattle Grace and I was so glad whenever Izzie got sick of their shit.

And I was VERY glad we basically never had to see any of them again after Season 5. I did not miss them at all.

Girl Crush concept fans: What's your preferred version of it sound wise?

The title is simple, for the girl crush concept fans; how do you prefer the concept sound wise? Do you prefer it to be smooth and sultry R&B:

Examples:

  • Bad Boy by Red Velvet
  • Get It by PRISTIN V

or

Dance-pop with some rap:

  • Any BLACKPINK or 2NE1 song

Lorelai wearing glasses - is it a Lauren Graham thing or is it canon for Lorelai?

Whenever we see Lorelai wear glasses no one really acknowledges it in the show. Did Lauren Graham need glasses?

You couldn't find a more perfect season than the first season

You couldn't find a more perfect first season than The X-Files Season 1. It's just dripping in atmosphere. The dark forests, rainy nights, creepy little towns, cheap motel rooms and that gloomy Vancouver look. I love it so much.

There's also something about how simple the show still was. And I LOVE early Mulder and Scully. They're still getting to know each other and figuring out how much they can actually trust each other. There's just something really cozy about watching their relationship at this point.

And Scully was already ride or die immediately for Mulder lol. When Mulder goes missing at the end of S01E02 "Deep Throat" and she's ready to put a gun to a man's neck to find out where he is.

I'm genuinely jealous of people who got to watch this on FOX in 1993/94 because I was a baby when it debuted. Imagine watching "Squeeze" or "Ice" on a Friday night in the 90s and then just having to sit there for an entire week wondering what weird ass case they were going to investigate next.

The show got bigger and more polished as it went on but Season 1 has a vibe that I don't think they ever completely recreated. It's creepy, gloomy, weird and VERY 90s.

I love it.

I really hate how divided the fandom has become over Sidney and Sam

I hate that Scream fandom has basically turned into you're either Team Sidney or Team Sam now.

I love Sidney. I love Sam. It's really that simple lol

They both have a place in my heart as final girls for different reasons. I grew up watching and loving Sidney even though I didn't actually get to see her on the big screen until Scream 4. Then 5 came along and I ended up getting attached to Sam too and loved what Melissa brought to her.

And I'll forever be thankful for 5 and 6 just for making Scream active again. After Scream 4 we went another 11 years without a movie and for a while it really felt like the franchise was just done for. Then suddenly we had new Scream movies to look forward to again and Sam was a huge part of that era.

Do I wish we could've seen Sidney and Sam interact again in a future Scream? YES. I'm always gonna be a little bitter we never got that in 7 but that's what fanfic is for.

I just hate that everything has to be Sidney vs Sam or Neve vs Melissa now. Halloween fans love Laurie Strode, Jamie Lloyd and Rachel Carruthers as final girls of that franchise without constantly acting like they have to pick one. Why can't Scream fans do the same with Sidney and Sam?

Me loving Sam doesn't suddenly erase my love for Sidney and me loving Sidney doesn't mean I have to hate Sam.

Addison’s Friends Were So Disrespectful to Meredith and Derek in Season 5

Every time I watch “Before and After” I always find the whole thing with Addison’s friends reminiscing about her and Derek disrespectful to Derek and Meredith's relationship.

Naomi brings up the song Derek wrote for Addison and talks about how she thought they were going to last forever. Then later Naomi and Archer start singing the song while Meredith is in the room. And Mark and Addison barely even try to stop them which makes the whole thing even more awkward.

Then at Joe’s, Sam, Naomi and Mark start singing that stupid song AGAIN and Addison and Derek eventually join in.

Obviously these people knew Derek and Addison when they were married and have years of history with them, so it makes sense that they’d reminisce. But doing it around Meredith when she and Derek are in a serious relationship just feels weird. Especially since Derek is at the point where he’s planning on proposing to her.

Did Brian Krause know Leo was magical before "Secrets and Guys"?

I know that the writing for Charmed was all over the place, but did Brian Krause ever know Leo was magical before Secrets and Guys? The way Leo is played by Krause he's played like a mortal man and not a magical being.

I love "The Wedding from Hell" and I love the unintended campiness

I love "The Wedding from Hell" and I don't care how campy it is

I love this episode. The demon bride, the stripper-eating bridesmaids, Piper getting offended that nobody is eating her food while they're literally trying to stop a demon wedding. It's so stupid and fun.

And Jade at the wedding when Allison shows up and she just starts yelling

"By Asteria and Perses, open sky and do your worst!"

That whole ending is peak camp to me.

And I know the episode probably wasn't written with the intention of being campy which honestly makes it even better. It's the unintended camp that gets me. Everyone is playing this completely straight while all this ridiculous shit is happening.

This is the kind of stuff I miss when I get to seasons 3 and 4 because sometimes Charmed started taking itself way too seriously. I like the darker episodes too but I miss stuff like this.

The only thing that bothers me is making Hecate a demon. She's the goddess of witchcraft.

Charmed of all shows turned her into the "Queen of the Underworld" lol. That has never made sense to me.

Angel pretty much does a whole lot of nothing in the “saving the world” department during the first three seasons

I know it's called Buffy the Vampire Slayer so obviously Buffy is supposed to do most of the work but Angel really was just... there a lot of the time.

Xander Willow and Oz spent the summer between Seasons 2 and 3 patrolling and killing vampires while Buffy was in LA. Three teenagers with no powers were doing more actual vampire slaying in those few months than Angel did during basically the entirety of Season 2.

Season 2 is especially funny because he spends the first half mostly lurking around giving Buffy information and being her boyfriend then loses his soul and spends the second half trying to destroy the world. So his biggest contribution to the apocalypse that season was causing it lol

Season 3 isn't that different for most of it either. It's really closer to the end of the season when Angel suddenly starts feeling like an actual fighter and that's because Angel was about to start and they needed to establish that this guy could actually carry his own show fighting demons every week.

And then Riley comes along in Season 4 and somehow even he does more actual fighting and slaying vampires and demons than Angel did throughout Seasons 1-3. Say what you want about Riley but at least the man was out there doing the job lol

Does anyone else love the early Faith episodes in season 3?

I loved Faith humiliating Scott Hope at homecoming for Buffy's sake.

Sometimes with the episodes leading up to Bad Girls I like to think about the what if Faith never went evil. SMG and Eliza had really good friend chemistry.

"If you ever need me call. We're all part of the same fucked up family now. And legacy doesn't always have to be a bad thing." - Kirby Reed in Scream VI

In Hayden's honor, this really was such a perfect final line for Kirby.

She started out as one of the new kids in Scream 4 and ended up becoming the true remake Sidney of that generation. With Judy and Dewey gone, Kirby is the sole survivor of the 2011 Woodsboro massacre.

RIP Hayden.

Which final girl do you prefer of the two? Tracy (Freddy's Dead) or Kara (The Curse of Michael Myers)

Both were the final girls of their movie and were unfortunate enough to be in a Freddy and Michael movie where both franchises have jumped the shark by this point. But as a character and a final girl which do you find entertaining and did a decent job at fighting Freddy and Michael?

Tracy in Freddy's Dead

or

Kara Strode in The Curse of Michael Myers

For those who watched the show on the WB, was it a big deal that someone of John Ritter's caliber was guest starring in season 2?

As a huge Three's Company fan, John Ritter is a huge reason why I don't completely hate Ted as a monster of the week episode. But for the fans who got to watch the show live in 1997 on the WB was it a big deal that someone of his caliber being a special guest star?

Emily disappearing drunk and ending up at Ali's grave in the Season 3 premiere really went nowhere

I really thought this was going to be one of the main mysteries of 3A.

Emily gets drunk, completely disappears, and the girls eventually find her standing over Ali's dug-up grave with no memory of how she even got there. The first two episodes especially make it seem like figuring out what happened to Emily that night is going to be important, and then it just slowly fades into the background.

We eventually find out her flask was drugged and that she went to Paige's house and kissed her, but even that basically just turns into a way to get Emily and Paige back together.

And what was the point of randomly bringing Holden back for that one scene just so he could jog Emily's memory about seeing her that night? Did the actor have one more episode left on his contract or something and they needed to use him? Because that whole scene felt like such a random way to give Emily another tiny piece of the night and then move on.

I wanted them to actually piece together what happened to her. How did she get to Ali's grave? Who brought her there? What exactly did A do while she was drugged? Instead we get little pieces here and there and eventually the show just stops caring.

It honestly feels like they didn't know how to start 3A, so they came up with this creepy mystery for Emily in the premiere and then realized they didn't actually have much of a story behind it. It basically becomes pointless background noise while the season moves on to everything else.

How did Ariana shake off the "Mini Mariah" comparisons at her debut, while Gaga is always compared to Madonna?

As the title says, when Ariana came out she was considered a mini Mariah and her voiced sounded similar to Mariah's in Yours Truly but she was able to shake that off very quickly into her career. Where as people and stans still compare Gaga and Madonna.

Which temp job story line do you prefer? Phoebe in season 1 or Paige in season 6?

Both sisters had a story line in a season where they were doing temp jobs while juggling magic and are the only sisters to have a temp job. But of the two whose did you prefer as a story line? Phoebe in s1 or Paige in s6

For me it makes more sense with Phoebe than it does Paige when Paige should have just been a social worker again.

Thank You Radio Silence for bringing Kirby back for Scream VI

I know Scream VI didn't use Kirby to her fullest but I'll be forever grateful to Radio Silence for the return of Kirby. If not for the success of the fifth film, Kirby's status would remain unknown. I know that her being an FBI Agent wasn't the greatest concept, but I also loved seeing her in the shrine when she looked at Jill's top and Charlie's knife.
