I know most of us got into it during 2016-2020, and I'm curious how many people got into it after its heyday.

Those who did, how did you discover it? I'm curious.

Only just got pro. I looked at the official site, but only saw the tutorial for doing it on computer.

My (30f) husband (34m) asked if I wanna watch a movie with him, and then I called him a bitch, causing him to break down crying. I do not feel bad at all. Sorry it offends you that I repeatedly call you a man as well, I just also use the term "man" gender neutrally. Same as when I describe you as male, I just use these terms for everyone completely genderlessly.

Okay, as you can tell I'm sure, kigurumi aren't something I know much about, my apologies for how obviously unfamiliar with this type of cosplay I'm gonna sound.

I've been just sorta daydreaming about making a cosplay of a character I like, but he's a human character and I usually don't like playing human/humanoid characters because, in short, I just don't feel that immersed wearing maskless cosplays (usually I pick monster characters and such) and I'd want to fully capture his cartoony look.

I got reminded of kigurumi, and thought something like that would be awesome, where I'm a totally on-model cosplay of the character, like basically just that character but in real life, I'd really love to fully play up the cartoony appearance. I still don't think I'll actually do this, but I'm kinda wondering how I'd get his mask done because well... he does not have the standard kigurumi head shape at all, he's very much a western cartoony character, which means I wouldn't be able to use any of the pre-made bases you can buy, and all the kigurumi mask makers I can find don't do custom mask shapes, as that'd be way too much work of course, they just have one or sometimes a good variety of ones to pick from but still of course don't look just like this specific character.

I'm just wondering I guess, how accessible is it to make one fully from scratch? Or, are there any makers who do/have done fully custom mask shapes? (Doesn't matter if they're currently open for that, as I do unfortunately doubt I can commission this in the first place anyway... would still be good to know though, if nothing else than to make my daydream more vivid.)

I am familiar with upholstery foam carving, but that's not something I'd like to do for this (would end up too big most likely, and upholstery foam doesn't have a nice smooth paintable surface) so I'm wondering what methods people tend to do. Assuming common methods include making molds with your face, and then probably 3D printing too?

I'm making a fursuit cosplay, and I'd really love to see other fandom-inspired fursuits! Doesn't matter if their WIPs or what fandom they're based off, cosplay and fursuits and fandoms in general are massive interests of mine so I love seeing them combined :)

Went to an amusement park with my friends yesterday... honestly, as suspected, I'm a big ol coward and didn't enjoy the rides at all, but also today I am extremely sore (we did not walk around a lot, so it's not from walking, and I'm sore pretty much everywhere, not just my legs.)

I was super scared on all the rides, so I wonder if me being all tensed up affected it. I'd just like to know if it could be because of all the rides yesterday, or if it's most likely unrelated.

Only went on three rides, which were a round up ride, a scrambler ride, and an orbiter ride (I believe these are the common names for all of these.) All of which I was quite spooked, especially the orbiter. Feels like I just got my flu shot.

I had an extremely severe fear of the movie Yellow Submarine when I was arouns 4-9 years old, and I was horrified of everything relating to it. While I didn't know it at the time, I had my first panic attack ever when the yellow submarine made a cameo in a Simpsons episode I was watching. It was absolutely ridiculous how intense it was, I could spend all day listing all these different stories about it, however I won't.

I'm now an adult and still have a few irrational fears, but none are anywhere near as intense as that one does. I have gotten over it since, but man, Jeremy still freaks me out quite a bit.

4. DON'T BE A HOMO!!! Sure, technically a man can be gay, but you can't REALLY expect the world out there to see you as a guy when you're kissing men and wearing polka dot bow ties. Y'gotta talk about how HOT you find WOMEN in an as OBJECTIFYING WAY AS POSSIBLE!!!

Five: Don't button your shirt up all the way, it makes you look trans. I know I don't have to elaborate on this one because obviously everyone knows what I mean by this.
