[Loved Trope] When you can tell the Creators are military nerds due to unecessarily detailed military equipment, especially in media that isn't directly military-related

villager news by elemental animation: in the war short they did, they modeled an uncessarily detailed villager-M777 Howitzer with realistic recoil and muzzel flash, it's crazy how close it is.

Evangelion is a more obvious case, chock-full of extremely accurate military equipment from fighter jets to warships to even more obscure soviet projects like erkanoplans.

I've come to dislike the "strong and interesting woman paired with a lame guy" trope, and wish people had the courage to make a strong/hot girl AND guy couples.

Yeah, the endless "strong dommy mommy girl that is somehow paired with a loser unremkarable, guy" starts to get annoying. It's dishonest and comes off as someone trying to insert themselves without having the decency to idealize themselves.

I wish people more people could appreciate couples where both the guy and girl are both remarkable, powerful, capable, and beautiful.
