Lower back pain for at least 3 to 5 years

I’m 54F. 145 pounds. Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia almost 25 years ago. We recently moved from PA to AZ and I have had this lower back pain for anywhere from 3 to 5 years and probably longer.

Until I moved out here I was taking prescribed Tramadol but now I’m taking edibles (legal in AZ). This is the reason why I take them 99% of the time.

I should have had my back checked out back in Pennsylvania and it’s quite possible that I made it worse with the packing and the move but this has been a problem since before we moved.

The pain is right above my buttocks and across my lower back. My issue is that many people chalk it up to age but when it’s affecting my quality of life it’s not good.

I have found that the edibles help, as does my recliner (it has heat and massage in it) and going to the jacuzzi in our complex. But the issue is without knowing what’s causing it this is just a stop gap solution.

The pain is sharp and I was diagnosed with arthritis in the upper part of my neck. I don’t know if it’s related or not. I haven’t had a physically demanding job like lifting or anything for decades- I work on a computer. I’ve fallen a couple of times which also could have aggravated it.

Now I’m trying to find an orthopedist who can hopefully give me some answers. But I’m miserable.

OWLS Question

So in the 5th book, during the OWLS, it’s shown that only the examiners oversee written exams. However, in the Pensieve when the Marauders were taking theirs, Flitwick was seen overseeing the DADA written exam.

Think this is just one of those things that JKR and her editor forgot to change or maybe policies changed over the years?

I went to see it in the theater with my friend and her sister. So much fun!

Jon Athan books on Audible

I want to warn anyone who’s sensitive about the Jon Athan books. Now I will say they’re well written. However, they cross some lines that disturbed even me - and I like the Angel of Vengeance books by Wade H. Garret.

For example, Harbinger of Vengeance ends with the reveal that;

I’m all for horror. But wow. That was a shock.

So if you’re ok with that check them out. But it’s really shocking. Hi

What was your choice as a kid?

You’re at a store and you have some change in your pocket. What are you buying? For me it was always the super balls. We’d go food shopping and if my dad had some change in his pocket he’d give me a dime and I could get one.

The Last Farewell

I watched this again today and I was thinking that I’m sure all the tears at the end of the movie were not acting. After all it was the end of an era. Anyone else think this?

One funny scene I’d love to see in the show

I’m listening to the full cast audible book for GoF again and I just heard the part where they were practicing the Banishing charm. It would be so much fun to see Professor Flitwick flying across the room by Neville. I’m so glad Warwick Davis is playing him again.

What’s a fruit you love but can’t stand that fruit flavored candy?

For me it’s watermelon. No matter what people say that is NOT watermelon.

Who’s had cataract surgery?

So I just got back from my eye doctor appointment and I need to have it done on both eyes. I’m 54. My friend says it’s young to have it done. Anyone else have it this young or younger?
