Resellers are crazy

Do they really think people will pay $702 for these tickets? The floor seats in blue are less than half this price.

Need a dryer with reversible door

I need an electric dryer with a reversible door. Is there a way to filter them on Costco.com or do I have to look up each model individually?

How bad does this foundation look?

This is the foundation in my garage. The other side has dirt, gravel and a walkway. Each year the foundation slowly crumbles. Do I need to get someone to dig around the outside of the foundation and waterproof it? How urgent is this?

42M my 401k broke 600k yesterday

One total stock index fund. I've been contributing up to the match for 20 years except for a 3 year stretch when I got laid off and went to grad school, and when I was on paternity leave after having a kid. I've only been able to max it out for the past 5 years or so. I wish I maxed it out every year. Every time I think the market will dump, it keeps ripping higher.

I wish I invested like this in a taxable account but life got expensive. My Roth has 127k and HSA 106k.

Do you ask contractors for a cash discount?

When I first bought my home I asked for a cash discount for a flooring job, and for landscaping. They both took off $1,000 from 20k+ jobs. Does anyone else do this?

What should I do with 401k after leaving employer?

My current job is being terminated and my new employer doesn't offer 401k contributions for an entire year. Yes that's correct, I can't make any contributions at all for an entire year. So my plan is to front load the rest of my 401k for 2026 at my current job and back load it at my new job next year.

I think my current 401k plan charges a 2% admin fee after I leave my employer. Should I pay the fee for a year or roll it into an IRA? I have to do a backdoor Roth IRA each year since I am over the income limits for Roth. Would rolling over a 401k to an IRA mess up my Roth eligibility? Will there be any tax events?

I have Roth, taxable, and HSA accounts at Fidelity so I wouldn't mind moving my 401k funds to Fidelity as well, as long as there's no tax events.

Hi guys I'm really late for this shoe but I want to finally buy a pair. Most shoes are too narrow for me and I heard this shoe is wide foot friendly. I have wide feet and wear:

NB Two WXY V4 size 10 EE

NB FF BB V3 size 10.5 EE

LeBron NXXT size Gen 11

Should I order size 10.5 or 11?

Also I didn't realize there are the plain GT 1, SE and PE versions. The 361 website only has SE and PE in size 10.5 or 11, no more plain GT 1. Which one is more wide foot friendly?

We always hear about single pharmacists or DINKS who can retire early, which should be expected TBH.

But how many pharmacists out there with kids can retire early? Those who had student loans, had to pay for their own house, cars, wedding, kids, and/or even help out the grandparents financially, how did you do it?

All my laundry has this jelly stuff all over it. It's scentless and doesn't feel slimy. After I noticed, I took the wet clothes out of the dryer and the stuff stuck to the inside of the dryer, and the outside of the washer and dryer.

Going to run it through the wash again to see if it goes away.

Everyone says Costco is the best retail pharmacy to work at. Maybe my store is different but every time I walk by the pharmacy, it seems very busy with a line. The pharmacists always look stressed and running around like in any other retail pharmacy. I read they don't even get an employee discount, just a free membership which is like $65. Why is it so great? It seems like grocery stores or even some Walmarts are less stressful?

We were traveling internationally but had to return home ASAP due to a medical emergency. We had to check out early and rebook our return flight. I submitted a travel insurance claim with Chase Ink Preferred. I submitted every document and receipt I possibly have.

They are now requesting the following:

"For Trip Interruption only: Copy of receipts for ground transportation to the departure point, or covered traveler's residence, in the event that the covered traveler required necessary medical treatment for a covered reason. Plus, copies of receipts to return a rental vehicle to the closest rental agency, or return of your personal vehicle to your residence."

Does anyone know what this means? I already submitted receipts for the shuttle from the airport to the hotel in both directions. The airport transportation was included with the hotel. We never got a rental car or left the hotel.

When we landed at home, our sibling drove us straight to the ER. We don't have any receipts for that ride. I submitted the ER after visit summary.

When I call Chase I just get the generic "we are reviewing the documents and it will take up to 7-10 business days". The status of the claim is "open - pending documents". I don't know what other documents I can possibly submit.

This seems petty but I feel like I'm being nickel and dimed. Is it worth complaining about?

I'm building a new construction and the proposal says it includes a programmable thermostat. I asked if I could provide my own Nest thermostat instead, they said yes. Then I was charged $250 to install it. I did not know I would get charged for this. It requires no more additional work than installing a regular thermostat. I even scanned the QR code and set up the app by myself. I would have replaced the generic thermostat myself if I had known I would be charged.

My new employer has 3 national medical plan options (United). I asked if they are eligible for HSA and they were clueless. Is it just based on deductible and out of pocket max? Do I contribute $8,750 after tax money to my Fidelity HSA and reimburse myself the taxes when I file in April?

I never grew up or had a pet before so I just don't understand. I have a condo in an urban area with no yard or green space. It's a concrete jungle. I put in my listing "no pets allowed" because the HOA does not allow them. Of course, 80% of the inquiries say "is it okay if I bring in a 40 lb labradoodle?" or "I have a pit bull" or "I have a rottweiler". Why would anyone want to live in a small condo with a big dog with no place for them to walk or run around? That seems really unfair for the pet. Also my tenant pool often lives paycheck to paycheck and can barely afford rent. How can they afford a large dog if they're barely getting by?
