🐾 MEET SWEET BELLA #A2092629 🐾
German Shepherd Mix | Red/Brown
Female | 4 years old | DOB: 8/22/2022
Weight: 56 lbs
BCS: Not listed
Intake date: 8/29/2026

🩺 MEDICAL NOTES
❤️ HEARTWORM HIGH POSITIVE.
Bella was listed as being in normal condition at intake.
She received:
• DA2PP-V vaccine
• Bordetella vaccine
• Rabies vaccine
• Deworming
• Pyrantel
• Advantage Multi

🐾 BEHAVIOR NOTES
Bella is extremely timid and fearful in the shelter. She often freezes or presses herself against the kennel wall.
Despite how frightened she is, she has recently allowed staff to leash her and slowly walk her out of the kennel.
She can become overwhelmed by noise and activity and may chew on the leash when frightened.
💗 Bella needs slow, gentle handling and a calm, secure environment where she can decompress and begin to feel safe.
Her fear in the shelter does not mean she is hopeless. She is simply overwhelmed and needs someone willing to give her the time and patience she deserves.

🙏 BELLA IS TERRIFIED, NOT HOPELESS.
The shelter environment is simply too overwhelming for this sensitive girl.
Imagine being surrounded by unfamiliar people, noise, barking and constant activity while already feeling frightened. Bella is doing her best to cope.
💗 She needs a rescue willing to give her patience, gentle handling, a quiet environment and time to decompress.
She has already shown that, with the right approach, she can allow someone to leash her and help her outside.
🆘️Please don't let fear be the reason Bella loses her life.
She needs someone to see past the terrified dog in the kennel and give her the chance to discover what safety feels like.

WE ARE STRUGGLING TO FIND A FOSTER HOME FOR BRUNO 😞💔
We’ve been searching for months for a foster home. His foster could only temporarily house him until after he was neutered. He’s now in boarding and it’s no way to live. We need a foster home without pets. This way we can test him around other animals once he’s had a chance to get comfortable in the home. It’s too difficult testing him while he’s at the boarding facility. All of the noise overwhelms him. Bruno is super lovable and affectionate with people.

If you know someone without pets and has a fenced in yard, please attempt to convince them to consider helping our rescue with Bruno. We over all ongoing supplies and expenses while fostering.

💙 CAPITO #A555768 - This dog is a neutered male. This dog is currently located in CLIND17. This dog weighs approximately 78.4 lbs.,is 8Y and has tested negative for heartworm disease. This dog is being posted to rescue due to medical.

Say hello to sweet Capito (A555768)!  He is 8 years young and 78 lbs of love! This precious man has some medical issues and needs to see a full-service vet.  This poor guy has what seems to be a mass on his front shoulder and his teeth are significantly worn down (which must be painful). Capito deserves some help and a home that loves him. Capito was found with another dog — so he can most likely live with a canine sibling with separation, patience and slow and appropriate introduction. Capito is available for adoption (but can also be fostered through a rescue).  Let’s find this gentleman the perfect home!

FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED ASAP!
Deadlined 8/19 at San Bernardino city shelter, CA
COMMENT BELOW IF YOU CAN HELP!

Cooper is looking for his forever pack! ❤️

Cooper came to us from the San Bernardino City Shelter, and this one-year-old, 45-pound Husky has been making everyone in the San Fernando Valley fall completely in love with him ever since. He is goofy, warm-hearted, and genuinely one of the most affectionate dogs we have had come through — the kind of dog who just makes you feel good to be around.

Cooper is the full Husky package. He has opinions, he has feelings, and he will absolutely let you know about both. He loves to use his voice — whether he is greeting you at the door, narrating his walk, or simply editorializing on the state of his dinner — and if you have never had a Husky before, prepare to be entertained. He is not being difficult; he is just being Cooper.

When it comes to the people in his life, Cooper leads with love. He gives kisses freely and often, is wonderful with kids, and has a gentle, easy way about him that makes him a joy to be around. He is not mouthy, does not resource guard, and is not leash reactive — which, for a young Husky, is saying something.

Cooper plays well with dogs of all sizes and tends to get along with most pups he meets, though he can be a little selective at times. He has shown curiosity but not fixation around cats on walks, which means he could potentially coexist with a feline sibling in the hands of a patient, experienced owner willing to do a very slow, careful introduction.

He is crate trained and in excellent health, fully neutered and up to date on all vaccines. That said, he is not a dog who should be crated for long stretches — two to four hours is his limit — and he needs a genuinely active home with daily walks in the three-to-four-mile range. His energy is pure puppy right now, and while he will mellow with age, that day is not today.

Cooper is available to adopt anywhere on the West Coast. If you are someone who loves and truly understands Huskies — the talking, the drama, the boundless affection, the whole magnificent chaos of them — then Cooper just might be your dog. Reach out and come meet this hilarious, big-hearted boy. He has been waiting for you. 🐾

Cooper is available for adoption through Bubbles Dog Rescue. Fill out our app to learn more about him ➡️ bubblesdogrescue.org/adopt

Bio

Meet Dolores ❤️

Dolores is a sweet girl who deserves the chance to heal and find a brighter future. She has an open wound with a skin flap that requires ongoing medical treatment beyond what Dallas Animal Services is able to provide. Because of the level of care she needs, Dolores is currently at risk for euthanasia.

We're hoping to find a rescue partner, foster, or adopter who can provide her with the continued medical care and recovery she deserves. With the right support, Dolores has the opportunity to heal in a safe, loving environment.

If you are interested in helping Dolores or can provide the care she needs, please email dasadopt@dallas.gov with your contact information. A member of our team will reach out to discuss the next steps.

🐾 Meet Baldwin

ID #A2087252

3-year-old Neutered Male Staffordshire Mix

⚖️ 58.0 lbs

Intake Date: 7/20/2026

🩺 Medical Notes:

Baldwin is low heartworm positive, a treatable condition. He is otherwise healthy, neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and has received parasite prevention.

🐾Behavior Notes:

Baldwin is a friendly, outgoing boy who loves people and is always excited to be part of the action. He greets everyone at the front of his kennel with a wiggly body, wagging tail, and happy expression, and is easy to leash. He is friendly and affectionate, and he walks well on a loose leash when he's relaxed.

Like many active shelter dogs, Baldwin has become vocal in his kennel, especially during feeding and cleaning or when people pass by. Once outside, he enjoys spending time with people and simply needs an outlet for his energy and a home where he can finally decompress.
