I want to become smarter and take in more information better, and analyze books after reading them instead of forgetting about them.

My First Nation is Deh Gah Gotie, but my estranged father went to Ontario and I've never been to the NWT. What is living up there like? I'm curious. Apparently when my father was young his family was poor and had to buy groceries in BC because it was cheaper or something. He also said North of 60 was the only show he got up there. (He was born in 1978 btw.)

On the night of Tuesday, August 1, 1989, Ronald Jack, who was unemployed, entered the First Litre Pub (only 4 blocks from his house) in Prince George, BC.

At the pub, he was approached by an unidentified man and he and his wife Doreen were offered jobs at a logging camp in Cluculz Lake,, which is 40 kilometres west of Prince George.

The man told Ronald that he and his wife would work between 10 days-2 weeks at the camp. Doreen would be the camp cook, and daycare was offered for the Jack children.

The man was described as being a white male in his late 30s, was between 6'0-6'6 tall, and weighed between 200-275 lbs. He had reddish brown hair and a beard.

The Jack family did not own a vehicle, so the man offered to transport the family.

They left the pub at around 11:16 pm in the man's four wheel pickup truck. In the early morning of August 2, Ronald called his brother to arrange for his sons to stay with him while Ronald, bu was working, but found that doing so wouldn't be possible.

Ronald then called his mother Mabel, ending the conversation saying to look for him if they didn't come back.

Two relatives of Doreen's, including her sister, visited their house and saw the family packing supplies into the truck. They have not been seen since.

On Sunday morning of Jan 28, 1996, an anonymous caller , who was traced to nearby Stoney Creek (now Saik'uz) called the RCMP detachment in Vanderhoof (61 miles west of Prince George), and stated that the family was buried "at the south end" of an unspecified ranch. The caller then hung up. A province-wide appeal was made by the police for the caller to come forward again. Investigations revealed that a party was being held at the house when the call was made. The police were unable to locate the 6-9 partygoers present at the house. Another appeal to the caller was made in 2018.

In August 2019 police used ground penetrating radar on property of the Saik'uz First Nation, but no evidence was located.

I am Dehcho, but born and raised in Ontario. I'm trying to learn Dehcho. I'm a big fan of Digawolf, and he sings in Tlicho. Anyways, i'm wondering how much of his Tlicho songs would I be able to understand if I know Dehcho?
