✨️ Notes: Steve exchanged greetings then exchanged play bows. He participated in play chase and playful wrestling for some time. He maintained a social and playful demeanor amongst the playful dogs. When a “soft” gentle dog entered the yard Steve suddenly and unprovoked lunged at the dog. He attempted to start a physical altercation, but the handlers were able to quickly intervene and steer Steve away. He remained focused on the dog pulling toward him and was shifted to the alone time yard. Steve maintained a relaxed demeanor in the alone time yard. The handler entered the yard with Steve, and he became loose and wiggly seeking engagement/petting from the handler. Steve could benefit from further socialization and confidence building.

🚨BILLY SCHEDULED FOR EUTHANASIA 7/23 @ 11AM FOR MEDICAL🚨

Billy is just 9 weeks old.

Instead of learning about toys, naps, and belly rubs, this tiny puppy is spending his first weeks of life covered in painful, itchy skin from severe sarcoptic mange.

His little body has lost much of its fur. His skin is inflamed, dry, crusted, and covered in sores from scratching. Yet despite how miserable he must feel, Billy still walks to the front of his kennel looking for attention and love.

His condition is highly treatable and they have started him on treatment (Bravecto, Cefpodoxime, Cytopoint, & started on lime sulfur dips), but he will need to be kept totally separate from other animals until he’s completed treatment as it IS contagious.

Billy has already started medication, and with continued vet care, good nutrition, and a safe place to heal, he is expected to make a full recovery. He has every reason to grow into a happy, healthy dog if someone gives him that chance.

Instead, he’s facing euthanasia because the shelter doesn’t have the resources to continue his treatment.

Please don’t let this be the end of Billy’s story before it ever had the chance to begin.

It’s been a while po since we posted an update regarding momo. Last time we were asking for an advice since even after catheterization ay nahihirapan pa rin po siyang umihi. We thought he was okay at first, he was urinating hanggang sa hindi nanaman. Sinubukan po naming i-observe pa siya gaya ng nasabi ng mga napagtanungan ko po with the same case, but unfortunately nahihirapan po talaga siyang mag-urinate and it urged us to the decision that was also hard for us. On July 19, he underwent PU or Perineal Urethrostomy. His vet said that it’s the last option po if mag reccur ulit ‘yung blockage niya. Sa ngayon po, his vet informed us that he’s doing well and okay naman po ang nagiging response niya sa surgery.

We are humbly asking for your prayers po for his continuous recovery. Hihingi rin po ako ng tulong sa bills niya dahil sa ngayon po ay inabot na ng 24,386 ang total vet bills niya, 11,920 for his surgery and 12,466 po for his 7 days confinement. Fortunately, pumayag po ‘yung vet niya na magbigay po muna kami ng 9k. And for the remaining balance + ‘yung confinement fees ay to be paid na lang daw po upon discharge.

So all in all po we are looking to raise 15,386, any amount po is highly appreciated. Pasensya na po, I know that this is a big amount na kailangan but hindi na rin po kasi talaga namin alam kung ano ang gagawin at recovering pa rin po kami sa naging bills niya rin last time nung na catheter siya. Sobrang nagpapasalamat rin po ako sa mga nagbigay at tumulong po last time, kahit po sa mga nag-comment at repost to boost the reach of our post. Thank you po ulit.

Meet Butterscotch 💛

Butterscotch is a sweet little puppy with a bright future ahead of him, but he needs help to get there. He has suffered a fracture to the right side of his lower jaw and is also suspected to have experienced head trauma. He will need continued veterinary evaluation and medical care to give him the best chance at a full recovery.

Even after everything he's been through, Butterscotch is still a resilient puppy with so much love and life ahead of him. He deserves the chance to heal in a safe, loving home where he can receive the care, patience, and support he needs.

07/20/26:

Alert. MM=Pink. Scleral hematoma noted in the right eye. Normal pupillary light response in both eyes. Ticks +++. Soft tissue swelling noted in the left nares with some blood still present. Heart and lungs=Crackles ausculted in the cranial ventral lung fields both sides of thorax. Eating well. Appears to have sustained trauma on the left side of nose and may have ended up hitting his head on the right side. Eating very well but appears a little depressed for a puppy.

DX: Xray (RL & VD View Thorax)=No significant findings

DX: Skull (RL & VD View)=Fracture noted of the caudal mandible on right side

RX: Carprofen 75mg 1/2T SID 7 days

RX: Gabapentin 100mg 1C BID 7 days

patient got beat up and cut in several locations around the neck and the left side of the face by his littermates - recommend placing them in individual cages

the left side of the face is extremely swollen and the face, neck/throatlatch are full of bite wounds

trimmed nails and gave medicated bath to aid with cleanup and wound therapy

patient is already on antibiotics for ski infection

gave 1/2 cc Benadryl to aid with swelling and we will start carprofen - will keep in treatment room overnight to be re-evaluated in morning

07/20:

BAR. Eating well. The right side of the muzzle is very swollen with edema present. Will discontinue the cefpo since placing on clindamycin now.

TX: Carprofen (50mg/ml) .6cc SQ

TX: Clindamycin (150mg/ml) .5cc SQ

RX: Carprofen 75mg 1/2T SID 4 days

Hello, please please hear me out on this one, this is one of the most sever cases Ive seen.

First off I have messages the Moderator of this page, I haven’t gotten a response yet which I understand, but I cannot wait any longer. Every minute that goes by this dog keeps suffering, please listen to my explanation.

1. I am not the rescuer, I was scrolling on fb when I saw this post. The rescuer is from iloilo, im from bacolod city, both of us speak the dialect of ILONGGO. I have translated every pic so that you guys can understand.

2. Even tho I am not physically present, I want to help as much as I can. When I saw the post/ especially the video I couldnt help but tear up. I felt so bad, especially when Maam was talking and said that other people would hit and hurt the dog when they see the dog. Hinahampas nila, pinapalo nila, nakakadurog sa puso.

3. I am communicating with the original poster, I am kindly asking for you kindest and deepest consideration, to please help me collect funds for doggie, I am asking even for just a peso. This is the most desperate I have been, ANG LALA NG CASE NYA PO. Sobrang lala talaga I dont even have words.

I dont know how I can prove my honesty to you guys but I know that I am not a scammer, I would not use this dog to just get money. Hindi po ako ganyan, I have already done this a few times, where tinutulungan ko ang mga people to collect funds, I send it to them, and they use that money to bring the rescues to vet, I personally use my own money as well. Everything will be done with transparency.

I will be screenshotting and properly keep track of every donation and make sure every cent goes towards the rescuers. I will also be making updates.

Ayon kay MMDA Chair Artes, hindi tino-tolerate ng ahensiya ang maling gawain ng kanilang tauhan.

Pagmumultahin umano ng ₱5,000 ang enforcer at mahaharap sa administrative sanction.

Sasailalim din ito sa imbestigasyon at papatawan ng karampatang parusa.

Hello po, will ask for help sana for a stray cat na pinapakain namin. She’s Fernanda po. Nagkaroon siya ng rectal prolapse last sunday po (yata).

Dinala namin sa city vet ng monday dahil tight budget ngayon (may mga alagang cats din po sa loob), pero for check up lang and consultation daw sila no procedures, nirefer po kami sa private vet.

By tuesday mas humaba na yung exposed part ng rectal prolapse kaya di na namin natiis tnry na namin mag ask ng help sa mga friends namin, hindi po kasi namin kaya pabayaan dahil everyday po talaga namin pinapakain yun parang alaga na din namin sa labas.

Nakakuha po kami ng 3,795 donation as of today, and dinala na namin sa private vet last wed, at ang initial bill nya ay 12,800 na. Apart from rectal prolapse, pina-spay na rin po si Fernanda dahil baka po sa panganganak nya rin last time kaya na-trigger ang kanyang rectal prolapse.
Natahi na po yung sa pwet nya at nakaconfine pa po sya at nagpalakas baka until sat pa po siya makalabas.

Humihingi po ako ng help para po sa additional pa na gastusin kasi initial palang po yung bill nya na 12,800. Waiting pa po kami sa additional dahil na-spay na rin po siya. Sana po matulungan niyo si Fernanda na napakabait na pusa 😢.

Willing po kami magbigay ng post/ update kay Fernanda. Any amount will do po, kung ano po ang kaya. Maraming salamat po and plan na rin po sana namin siya i-adopt after nya makalabas sa vet. Pasensiya na po need lang din po talaga din namin ngayon ng financial help sa situation na ito.

I’ll be leaving the PH na po in 3 weeks. Within those weeks I plan on having Ginger recovered from calicivirus, vaccinated, and neutered. After po non, hindi ko na po alam talaga pag wala po kumupkop kay Ginger. Hindi ko po siya pwede iwan dito sa bahay namin since my senior citizen parents are already caring for 3 senior dogs. May cat rin po kami na very territorial. Hindi na po nila kakayanin.

Pag binalik po siya dito sa kalsada, I don’t know how safe he would be since may mga strays cats rin po ako before na pinakapon ko po and then returned to the streets thinking they will be fine since kapon na sila, but someone has been either poisoning the cats or taking them to god knows where kasi bigla nalang po sila nawawala without any trace. I’m scared na baka mangyari rin kay Ginger yun after all the collective effort we did for him and all the pain he had to endure.

Please, I’m humbly asking you guys to help me save Ginger. He’s the sweetest boy. He will gently tap you on your arm to give him more pets. He has the cutest meows. Please give him a chance to be a part of your home. He fought so hard and is trying his best to recover. He deserves a warm and loving home after, and not being sent back to the streets 😭 Hindi ko na po alam gagawin please help po 😭😭

Current shelter policy keeps it a secret who will be euthanized each Monday, Wednesday & Friday. Since NANA was in poor condition she has spent her days in the medical ward, but that means she was not in an area where any foster, adopter or rescue could meet her. Senior NANA deserves some love and attention for HERSELF before it is too late!

Please pledge so Senior NANA can be rescued and treated for her Heartworms. She needs a FOSTER for the shelter or a rescue who loves the sweet seniors. She is stunning in person. Doesn’t she deserve a safe, air-conditioned, cozy place to rest her head?
