Only posting one video every six months

I've found that with one of my channels, most of my regular views come from my older videos ( stuff that I put out between 2019 & 2024 ), and that most of my new stuff just tanks. The good thing though is that my channel is maintaining the watch time I need to stay monetised without me uploading new videos.

I'm aware that YouTube requires you to publish a video atleast once every 6 months to stay monetised. My question is, does a Shorts Remix video class as a new video, or do I need to publish a new long form video every 6 months to stay monetised?

My strike expires in 3 hours

My strike expires in 3 hours. Will that change anything at all? I guess it reduces the risk of my channel getting banned, aslong as I don't do anything else wrong haha

Shorts Remixes

After years of making Shorts Remix videos, I've only just now figured out how to save the Short to my phone so that I can reupload it to Instagram and TikTok. What a douche, 😄

Yeah, I know a while back I said that I deleted all my Shorts and said I wasn't gonna make them anymore, but that had no beneficial effect at all, so I'm back making them
