Spilled Yakult on my HP laptop keyboard – several keys stopped working. Any way to fix it?
Hey everyone,
I accidentally spilled some Yakult on my HP laptop keyboard, and now several keys have completely stopped working.
The affected keys are:
A, S, D, J, K, L, and Enter.
The laptop is an HP laptop with a 13th Gen Intel Core i5 processor. Everything else seems to work fine—it's just these keys.
I suspect the Yakult got underneath the keyboard. Since it's a sugary drink, I'm worried it may have left sticky residue inside.
Has anyone dealt with something similar?
- Is there anything I can safely try at home?
- Is cleaning the keyboard with isopropyl alcohol worth trying?
- Or does this usually mean the keyboard needs to be replaced?
I'd really appreciate any advice or experiences. Thanks!
