Forever! ...Forever...

Made by u/Some_Random_Android

THAC0 was a genuine leap forward in terms of functional/accessible gameplay at the time. It just happens that the 3X reordering of bonus and target number was more accessible so there's no reason to bring it back.

There should be a "Far Cry 4 ending"

V: "Jackie, we shouldn't do this gig."

Cut to Jackie, V, Misty, and Vik eating in either Tom's or the Coyote Cojo while in the background a TV plays news of how badly Konpeki went

Jackie: "I'm glad I wasn't there for that."

Camera pans out as the credits roll.

Is Nadia Pym the most absurd example of Marvel's sliding timescale?

For context: Hank Pym's '60s backstory included that when he and his wife were honeymooning in her non-specific Soviet homeland Hungary she got black-bagged by Soviet secret police. Can he open his heart to love again with Janet?

Then in the late 2010s, Nadia Pym was introduced: Hank's wife was retconned to have been pregnant when she got abducted, their child got raised in the Red Room (Black Widow people) until by copying her dad's shrinky-science she escaped. She's of non-specific teen age but to me reads 14-15.

Now, her mother's abduction was very Cold War, but she at the time of her first publication was born after 2000. Is that the most extreme example of sliding timescale?
