How would run the DCU?
Imagine Zaslav barges into your room, grabs you by the collar, and then he slams you up the wall.
"Listen here you little bitch", he says with venom in his voice. "I heard you were talking shit about the DCU. So I'm putting you in charge. You're going to lead the fresh DCU reboot"
"B-but I don't want another reboot-" you tried to protest before he slaps you in the face.
"We're gonna have another reboot, and I'm giving you 100% complete and absolute creative control"
So how will you do it?
What's your gameplan? Phase 1 lineup? Themes? Campy or Gritty Batman (you're gonna have Batman right?), any TV adjacent shows, casting choices, etc...?
I've only played Stronghold HD. Which is the better follow up? Mostly just interested in the story / campaign
Do you know a good Horror podcast / audio drama in the style of a found footage (found audio) format?
I listened to White Vault. Good first season, but IMHO there was a drop in quality in the later seasons.
Magnus Archives, I also tried that and didn't like how it later turned into urban fantasy. I really want something that's spooky and horror and not just fantasy themed.
Knifepoint is excellent, but it's not found audio format.
Thanks.

Thanks for the quick replies.
What even is the gameplay loop like?
I've never played an Extraction Shooter before, but from what I could tell, players load into a map, collect as many resource as they can, then "escape" (ie. extract).
So how does that work in a Single Player environment? You're just competitng against the mob? Pure PvE, no "kill enemy players and take their loot" element to it?
Does it get boring?
What keeps you coming back?
How many maps?
What do I do with collected loot? Upgrade weapons and stuff?
Do I have a base of operations of sorts that I can upgrade, or even a place I can display trophies?
What are the unlockables? Characters, weapons, etc...
Does it have World / Difficulty tiers?
Also, it's in Early Access. How would you feel if development stops? Like right, let's say the devs all get abducted by aliens and the game is stuck in whatever state it is in, no more bug fixes or content updates...
I'm interested in the game, but it's quite expensive so I expect at least 70+ hours of content.
Thanks
What killed custom Android roms?
I remember every techie was pushing these 15 - 10 years ago.
>you gotta unlock your bootloader, bro
>you gotta install this FOTM rom, bro
>it has no bloatware, bro
>it's the right thing to do, bro
Now, nobody cares.
There, DC. I fixed your cinematic universe. Enjoy Trillions of dollars. You're welcome.
You wake up tomorrow as the CEO God King Emperor of Bungie
You have 100% absolute creative control with a substantial (but reasonable) budget from Sony.
How do you save the game?
Rules:
You may not take the easy way out and simply delete the game and issue refunds. You must actually try to fix it
You have to do it before the year ends
I think I solved a major mystery they introduced this season.
I call this The Shapeshifter Theory
It's simple- Sophia is a monster in disguise.
#Evidences:
We can't confirm her backstory.
She arrived with her father, but he shortly died before he could interact with her. Earlier we also saw her supposed father driving, but we never saw her in the car.
Proposal: She hijacked his car shortly before they crashed.
Anyone she's physically come in contact with has suffered through hallucinations
The writers tried to be sneaky with this, but it checks out.
In Episode 5, she touches Marielle and a moment later Marielle gets schizo chained.
She cut herself and some blood went into Henry's drink. Soon after, Henry starts hallucinating about being in a coma
Proposal: She has supernatural powers that can make you see things.
She's showed interest with the Man in Yellow's clothes
In episode 8, she was shown sneaking about in the sheriff's office before finding the discard yellow jacket.
Interesting, because she was carrying an empty backpack. Next scene we see her with the backpack no longer empty. And guess what, at the end of the episode the Man in Yellow returns and shows himself to Tabitha.
Proposal: Sophia might be the Man in Yellow with shapeshifting powers.
She may have the power to perform Necromancy
If you were closely playing attention, you'd have noticed that she did something to Roger's corpse. It involved an egg. It might have been a magic ritual to resurrect him as a monster, and later Roger actually reanimates as a living doll.
Proposal: She can turn dead bodies into monsters.
Her expressions are very suspicious
In almost every scene, when she thinks no one is looking, she always has this malevolent smirk on her face. There's too many to point specific scenes out, but if you do a rewatch and you know what to look for, it's hard to miss.
It contradicts her prim and proper innocent and religious girl persona.
Proposal: She is evil and is secretly working against the town.
So, what do you think?
I think I solved a major mystery, I hope I didn't spoil anything for the finale but this actually makes sense if you think about it.
Thanks

Printer...
Let's say you've been informed that a zombie apocalypse would break out in six 1 (One) hour.
Let's also assume that your most immediate survival needs (security, weapons, shelter, food, water, etc...) are already taken care of.
For now, you are only given a computer with access to high speed internet, a printer with unlimited ink, and an unlimited stack of papers (all unused paper and ink will disappear after the deadline).
What would you print?
You have six 1 (One) hour.
Power will be cut off within 24 hours.
ed
I realize 6 hours to print anything you want is too generous, so I'm nerfing it to 1 hour.
"Sousuke Aizen, Death by Heart Attack". Problem, officer?
Is this show appropriate for old people?
My German Tutor is old, and he's turning 36 next week.
He told me he used to watch a lot of tv when he was younger but he stopped more than a decade ago and he expressed interest in horror / mystery.
So do you think it's ok I recommend he watch From?
He's been around since the dawn of time so he's probably seen and tried everything, but prehistoric uncs tend to be jumpy and they overthink a lot.
Do you know an old person who watches this show? Are they enjoying it?
Thanks
[REQUEST] What's a good zombie survival game?
Survival / Management
Dark and Gritty, I don't want like, colorful Fortnite graphics
No Pop Up ads. I'm ok with a smaller banner of ad, or a one time purchase option to disable it, or maybe even "Watch a video a day for 100 wood" kind of monetization. But I don't want intrusive ads where I'll open my inventory and I'll get jumpscared by an Ad. None of that, please.
I also want something that lets me play at my own pace. You know those games where you can only do a certain amount of things per day? Not that.
A game that will reward me at times when I want to grind and have at it all afternoon, but also something that doesn't feel like it's forcing me to log in every few hours (or else I'll miss resources).
Does this game exist?
Thanks.
