Hello,

There are two things I love in commander: mono color decks and color break decks.

Currently I have a deck for each colors and most of the decks can be considered as a color break (My mono white deck is Group Slug/Combo deck that rarely wins via combat, my mono blue deck is a go wide/voltron deck, my mono green deck doesn’t have creatures in the 99). I currently have a mono black deck but I don’t feel joy when I play it anymore.

I am asking the community for a Bracket 3 mono black deck suggestions with some stipulations. I’m hoping for a good deck that can win but not something that would consistently curbstomp my friend group/LGS.

The stipulations are:

1/ No Universe Beyond commanders

2/ I try to avoid the top 10 mono black commander

3/ I’m hoping to build a mono black deck that is not Aristocrat

4/ It can use the graveyard but I’m hoping it won’t be dependent on it. I definitely want a non-archetypal mono black deck.

5/ The more obscure, the better

I’m also open to a weird stipulation commander. An example of this is a “mono red” deck that I am also in the process of building featuring [[Ashling the Limitless]]. While the deck utilizes all five colors for Elementals, it only uses red color identity cards for support.

I’m looking forward to what the community suggests and hopefully I find something I can build that could be my forever mono black deck.

Found on the side of the road, we think his mom might have been hit. Once he's stronger and a little bit bigger we will release him, we have rescued other baby raccoons but never seen a cinnamon!
