A GOAT parodying GOATs

I’m not gonna say Up wasn’t an amazing film but, if I was in charge, Fantastic Mr. Fox definitely would’ve won best animated feature instead

These two are Oscar Montahugh and Molly Hissleton from the novel series Katt vs. Dogg by Chris Grabenstein and James Patterson. I got one of the books in 5th grade for Christmas and loved it so much I bought the other. I still revisit because I love the story, world, and characters so much and now I am really considering writing a years-later fanfic for it surrounding the main characters, Oscar and Molly. Now, there is barely a fandom for it now, and my hope was that (if my fic pops off) it might grow the fandom. But, since the fandom is so small there is no ship name. And I have been trying to brainstorm in the old noggin some options but I don’t really feel confident in them. So, I shall provide you with some ones I came up with and we can either pick one we like most or come up with a new better one.
- The first one I came up with Moscar, that’s the most obvious one you can do I think, but I’m not a huge fan of it because it doesn’t really roll of the tongue and it kinda sound a little awkward to say.
- The second and third ones I came up with was KattDogg or Hiss&Howl, and they are definitely fine but my problem with them is that there are other katt and dogg couples in the books so it might be a bit to general.
- Now this is where I tried to get creative, it’s the last one, Mass Hysteria. Mainly a reference to that famous Ghostbusters line where they’re talking about signs of the end times and Venkman says “Dogs and cats living together, MASS HYSTERIA!!!” and also as a double meaning because the even fact they don’t dislike each other caused a lot of calamity for katts and doggs, especially for their feuding families, because they are supposed to hate each other.

I’m seriously considering creating my first fan edit, or edits I guess and was hoping for from tips from people with more experience. The premise is that I am turning the show The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance into a film trilogy. Any kind of tips are fine but Im really looking for tips from people with experience doing show to film edits. Things like what their usual approach is for cutting a show down to a film or multiple films, whats usually best to cut and keep, how to make it not feel rushed, things like that.
