I’ve been on Cats the musical phase for a while ever since I saw the 1998 proshot. I never had interest in the musical because of how god awful I heard the movie was, and they’re right, the movie is god awful, but the original musical in my opinion is fantastic. It would never happen, but this crossover would actually be so so hype for me.
Specifically the music for the Blue Paradox, Spider-Man, and the Costumes of Paul Tazwell were incredible (loved both exhibits were incredible, fucking unreal), but damn I wish these soundtracks were released. Even though some of them were temporary exhibits, I still would love for these soundtracks to be at least preserved by an online release.
I wasn’t sure when I saw the trailers, but I absolutely loved the concept. When it came out, all the reviews I saw said it was either the worst or the best so I went in not knowing what to expect, even the friend I went to said he was low key expecting it to suck but GODDAMN this was really fucking good. It’s got a perfect balance of humor, suspense, horror, and action. It’s got kind of a Spielberg vibe to it. I wish more movies like this were made nowadays. I thoroughly enjoyed that, I absolutely recommend.

I love Weird Al to death, I saw him and Puddle Pity Party live last month and he was incredible! I don’t see a lot of people talk about his guitarist, Kimo. Personally I think he’s a criminally underrated guitarist, he does some truly fantastic work, especially of Al’s original songs. This is my favorite solo of his, from Al’s track UHF from the movie of the same name that Al started in (which is also great, ya’ll should definitely check it out).

These two (Oscar and Molly) are from my favorite novel series, Katt vs Dogg. And these two are my favorite comfort characters and ship. I’ve loved these books since I first read them in 5th grade and I still love them now in my teens. I’ve been working on a fanfic continuation on AO3 (my first ever fanfic). I also included a little poster illustration I did for my fic. The novels are so great but it barely gets any fanart, so I was wondering if anyone here would be willing to draw something. Thought I might share this because it was absolutely hilarious. I love Al and Kyle are both goated, I got to see Al live with Puddles this summer and it was the coolest night of my life!
Grace and Kevin Flynn from the TRON franchise. I think they’d be good friends, they’d definitely nerd out about stuff together. Grace would definitely be fascinated by the grid and the ISOs, and Flynn would definitely be fascinated by the Hail Mary and eridians. I dunno, I kinda like the extroverted nerd and introverted nerd platonic dynamic.
