I recently fell in love with Fantastic Mr Fox a few months ago and Kristofferson is my favorite character, but I’m not exactly sure why his theme makes me feel so deeply nostalgic. I think it kinda reminds of the kinda music that would play in the cartoons I’d watch as a little kid, it also kinda gives off a certain kinda vibe that reminds of visiting my grandparents house growing up.

- Sam Flynn and Quorra’s absence from TRON Ares: Look, I loved TRON Ares, I still think it’s a good movie with a fantastic score, but it’s got nothing on TRON Legacy. And I genuinely laughed my ass off when I found out this is how they explained Sam and Quorra not being in the movie. It’s especially weird since the last film ended with Sam finally taking the company back and promoting Alan (who they don’t even bother mentioning in this film) and then he rode off into the sunrise with Quorra who finally got to see the human world. And now he’s just left? After that whole character arc where he finally got the courage to take his father’s company back? He just left? I mean, at least we got a hint of what happened to Quorra at the end but I’m not sure we’ll ever see where that plot thread will go now since Ares bombed so hard.
- The Furious Five’s absence from Kung Fu Panda 4: I mean, this movie didn’t even need to exist. Nor should have it existed because KFP was already the perfect trilogy. But if they had to do it why wouldn’t they include the five? I mean, I guess there wasn’t really room for them in the story. But on the other hand, it’s a story that didn’t even need to exist and it’s a bad one. If you had to make a fourth one why not write it to include some of the most important, fun, snd interesting characters from the franchise who’ve been integral to the plot of every previous installment, especially Tigress. I guarantee their inclusion would have made the story, the comedy, and just the film overall infinitely better. But hey, at least they got a little cameo in the end.

- Project Hail Mary: The book and film end with Grace settling permanently on Erid with Rocky and the other edridians. Erid’s gravity, according to the book, is roughly twice that of Earth’s. In the book, and this likely also goes for the film, he says his bones are already struggling with the increased gravity, meaning he most likely die soon due to the extra stress that Erid exerts on his body. The film and book choose to end before this happens to show Grace is okay with his fate because he finally feels fulfilled and loved.
- Kimberly Akimbo: The main character of the musical, Kimberly, is a teenager suffering from a rapid-aging genetic disorder. It’s said in the show that those with this condition pass away at an average age of sixteen. Throughout the show Kimberly is surrounded by other high schoolers whose lives are just beginning even though her’s is likely ending soon. The show ends with her, after recently turning sixteen, traveling the world with her boyfriend so she can see all she wants to see and for the first time in her life she feels truly happy.

Basically a sincere, comforting, hopeful, “everything’s gonna be okay” vibe.

So there’s this app that I’ve been using for a while called Bloxels where you can make pixel games and stuff, and i’ve been listening to a lot of the tracks from the OST on YouTube recently, and I noticed a lot of them have a kinda NIN vibe. Don’t really know how to describe it. But I had the idea of maybe making like a fan-album of mashups of Bloxels and NIN tracks and this is the first one I made. It was really fun to make this. Funnily enough the beats of the tracks lined up perfectly, I didn’t have to speed up or slow down either of them, that was cool. But anyway, I just thought I might share this to see if anybody likes it or would wanna see more mashups like it. Any constructive feedback is appreciated. That’s about it, thanks.

Headcanons:
- They met after Flynn’s wife passed in 1983
- Flynn would become a lava lamp in the circus (hence the art)
- They get high and talk about life frequently with each other
- Mike is always trying to beat Flynn’s high scores, he never can
- Flynn told Mike everything about his journey on the Grid on the first date and Mike believed him
- When Flynn Mike took to his Grid the first time, Tron tried to kill him because he thought Mike was an intruder
- Grant (Kinger) and Alan always feel like third wheels when they hang out with Mike and Flynn
- Flynn finishes Mike’s coding when he fell falls asleep at his home office while working (which happens often), after of course carrying Mike to his bed
- They code games together
- Sam (Flynn’s son for those unaware) tried to tie Mike’s shoe laces together when Flynn first brought him over to the house (Sam eventually ended up liking Mike)
- They pack each other’s lunches
I’ll come up with more headcanons the more I think about it

These two are Oscar Montahugh and Molly Hissleton from the novel series Katt vs. Dogg by Chris Grabenstein and James Patterson. I got one of the books in 5th grade for Christmas and loved it so much I bought the other. I still revisit because I love the story, world, and characters so much and now I am 5 chapters in of writing a years-later fanfic on AO3 for it surrounding the main characters, Oscar and Molly. Now, there is barely a fandom for it now, and my hope was that (if my fic pops off) it might grow the fandom. But, since the fandom is so small there is no ship name. And I have been trying to brainstorm in the old noggin some options but I don’t really feel confident in them. So, I shall provide you with some ones I came up with and we can either pick one we like most or come up with a new better one.
- The first one I came up with Moscar, that’s the most obvious one you can do I think, but I’m not a huge fan of it because it doesn’t really roll of the tongue and it kinda sound a little awkward to say.
- The second and third ones I came up with was KattDogg or Hiss&Howl, and they are definitely fine but my problem with them is that there are other katt and dogg couples in the books so it might be a bit to general.
- Now this is where I tried to get creative, it’s the last one, Mass Hysteria. Mainly a reference to that famous Ghostbusters line where they’re talking about signs of the end times and Venkman says “Dogs and cats living together, MASS HYSTERIA!!!” and also as a double meaning because the even fact they don’t dislike each other caused a lot of calamity for katts and doggs, especially for their feuding families, because they are supposed to hate each other.

Scratch and Kinger always reminded me of Kevin and Alan, so naturally I thought “what the hell, ship em”

While watching TRON Legacy, I always wondered why Tron himself got a different outfit when uploaded from the old grid into Flynn’s grid even though in the new film Ares was uploaded to the original grid and didn’t change in any way. Anyway, that’s pretty much it, thought it might be cool to see what it would have been like if he kept his original costume in Flynn’s grid, that’s all, thanks :)

I mean on one hand you got Leto who has multiple SA allegations against him, treats his concerts like cult meetings, sent live rats and used condoms to his co stars, is said to be really mean and pretentious in real life, and is also just a bad actor in general. But on the other hand you have Howard who admitted to domestic abuse several times, turned down a role in a Marvin Gaye biopic saying if he kissed a man he would cut his lips off, stands by the opinion to this day that Iron Man was a success because of him, and created his own form of mathematics that claims 1 times 1 is 2 and early mathematical principles were introduced to us by aliens.
