How to diversify my 16k in my roth IRA?

On the advice of everyone (including those on this sub) I have transferred my 16k from my Roth 401k into my Roth IRA following the ending of myccontract.

My curent portfolio looks like this:

80% SP500 or FXIAX

20% International Index Fund or FTIHX

How should I diversify the 16k? FHANX, FDKVX, and FDKLX or more to the above?

Context: 34 years old. Looking to retire by 65 ideally. Make 65k a year.

Help me choose 401k Options

Contract is ending and realized that I split my 401k into both Traditional 401k and Roth 401k. However, now I have a choice to make:

Edit: more context--currently making 65k at 34 years old

Edit--no match on my new contract with the 401k

Option 1

Split my accounts by transferring the Roth 401k into my existing Roth IRA with Fidelity (FDKVX) at 0.12% and keep the traditional 401k with my existing broker John Handcock making it into a Traditional IRA at 0.32% contributing to it for 3 months until I switch.

Option 2

Consolidate both into Fidelity Accounts (Roth IRA + Traditional IRA)

Option 3

Do Nothing

Wait 3 months after which probationary period ends and I qualify for 401k with new contract rolling it over to Vestwell (still dont know any details)

My portfolio as a 34 year old just starting out

I'd like to preface this by saying I paid off all my debts at 33. Now, I have decided to invest at 34:

-Traditional 401k at 8% with 5% match Total current amount 22k

-Roth IRA

$512 in the SP500 (FXIAX)

$184 in International Index Fund (FTIHX)

-EE savings bonds

$50 or 1 savings bond

Tried to do a 70/20/10 split.

Anything I should improve on? Or am I ok as is? More on the conservative side.

Item received but can't find any information as to return started--help?

I just got off the phone with Amazon. I've never had any issues up to this point. I saw the status go from dropped off to item received to processing my refund. I thought, I'll receive it no time. I threw away my original receipt from the UPS drop off. Still waiting. Saw today that they will refund me $0.03 on my $200 item. I called to ensure that it was not a mistake. Now, they can't find a history of any return in their system. I have the tracking number via UPS that was delivered to their warehouse.

Edit. Bought this on a credit card.

Help?

What percentage of your portfolio is made up of bonds? Why?

Those that own bonds (i.e, EE, I, etc)--What percentage of your portfolio is made up of bonds? Why? If nothing, why not? Just curious to get a feel as to how everyone feels about them. Bonus points for things like age, stage of life, etc.

Is Davinci Resolve Studio Worth It For Linux Users in 2026?

For those Linux users that have bought the almost $300 studio version, is it worth it? I recently installed it on Nabora Linux and had to get Claude to create a script to convert the .MP4 to a .Mov (i.e, ffmpg). I'm just curious if you actually get the codecs or the ability at the very least to use plug-ins.

IRA or 401k Post Contract

So, we are moving from one contract to the next with no 401k % match. My first thought was to place it in an IRA or Roth but now I am second guessing it. What is the most fiscally conservative option? Rolll it over to another 401k, place it in a IRA? Or place it in a Roth?

Best 2 matching controllers for PC couch co-op — budget $30-100

  1. \*\*Budget:\*\* $30-100 per controller, USD

  2. \*\*Country:\*\* USA, buying from Amazon/Best Buy

  3. \*\*Platform:\*\* PC only (Steam), no console

  4. \*\*Desired features:\*\* Reliability is the priority over any specific feature — durability, no stick drift long-term, consistent build quality. Don't need adaptive triggers/haptics.

  5. \*\*Games I'll be playing:\*\* Couch co-op story/puzzle-platformers on Steam — It Takes Two, Split Fiction, Blanc, A Way Out, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. Mostly split-screen, controller-required titles.

  6. \*\*Comparing to:\*\* Trying to decide between the \*\*GameSir line vs. 8BitDo line\*\* generally. I'm coming from PlayStation (DualSense), so I don't have a strong reference point for how either brand's ergonomics/shape compare to Xbox-style controllers. From what I've read, both have moved to drift-resistant stick tech (Hall Effect/TMR) so longevity seems solid either way — GameSir tends to run on the Xbox-style slimmer shape with strong native Steam/XInput compatibility, while 8BitDo tends to be boxier with more connectivity options (2.4G + Bluetooth, some with charging docks). Would love input from anyone who's switched from DualSense to either brand — which felt like a smoother transition, and did you run into any Steam Input quirks with either?

Are my wrist weak or do I just need a new keyboard?

I left Playstation after they killed off physical games and decided to establish a monopoly on their exclusives/prices. I'm currently trying to get used to playing with mouse and keyboard, but it does tire my wrist after a while--my question is--should I get a new keyboard (currently using a SteelSeries Apex 9 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard TKL)? Or should I just keep it and get used to it? How would I know?

Should I undervolt my RTX 5070?

First time PC owner here.

Is it always recommended to undervolt your GPU? Especially if it's a newer model. I am usually running into 40s and 50s C on my temps. I don't care for high fidelity or playing multi player games that require high FPS.

Thanks.

Are these temps for CPU normal?

Should I add more thermal paste? I only have the stock fans (three) and the CPU cooler fan (DARKROCK DT6)

CPU: Intel® Core™ Ultra 5 Processor 250KF Plus 18 cores (6 P-cores + 12 E-cores) up to 5.3 GHz

Or are there settings I need to change? I have GIGABYTE Z890 AORUS Elite WIFI7 ICE Motherboard

It's sitting idle and I just built it.

Daisy Chaining ARGB/Power for Fans?

I uaed Claude to create a diagram to visualize what daisy chaining would look like for ARGB/Power .

Would this be correct for a 3 fan configuration?

This is my first build and I don't want to overpower it or have it explode.

Thanks.

Is the Intel Core Ultra 5 Processor 250KF Plus + RTX 5070 good enough for my use case?

As the title states, is this build good enough for my use case:

-Running VMs (Windows, RHEL, etc) for testing, studying, etc

-Editing videos at 1080p through Davinci Resolve with light editing

-Playing single player games at 1440p (i.e, CyberPunk 2077, TLOU 1+2, Pragmata, etc)

Please feel free to ask questions for clarification to get a better overall feel

Thanks.

I should probably add I currently have 32GB of DDR5 RAM

Looking for games that respect your time

I don't have the bandwidth for 40+ hour epics anymore. Looking for Steam games that tell a complete, satisfying story or deliver a tight, well-designed experience in 12 hours or less — no padding, no filler side quests, just something that knows when to end.

Genre doesn't matter much. What matters is that every hour feels intentional. Bonus if you can link the Steam page and mention roughly how long it took you (HowLongToBeat numbers welcome too).

Credit Score Went Down After Chargeback

I bought some items from Amazon and returned them after finding them defective. My credit score took a hit after charge back. I only have one credit card, and I pay it on time every time. I am now waiting for them to place that credit it to my account.

How long until it goes back up?
