Best time frame to take this test?

I am F 23 and for visa purposes to become a student abroad I have to prove this certificate along with the said country's language certificate so even though I have been studying english since birth and I have publish few articles in an english language magazine I still have to take this exam to prove that I won't be a liability to them even though the course that I am taking isn't even in English 🥀

My question is that what is the best time frame to sit for this exam? Because right now I am focusing in another language in which I will be studying my course and then later this year I will be starting my course to strength my admission rate even more and next year around this time I will be finally applying to the university.

So should I give ielts this year itself or wait until next year say around February maybe?

Also do I need to buy study materials to pass this test? I am little bit unsure because even though I already speak in English I feel like this exam will be somewhat difficult but please do let me know.

Can anyone please help me by teaching me few phrases so I can talk with my boyfriend ?

I am F 23 and my boyfriend and I, don't have much language barrier because both of us speak around 3-4 languages and I plan on learning spanish soon enough (definitely after my masters) so after 2 years I'll start learning spanish but for now can anyone please teach me few cute sentences or such that I can tell my boyfriend?

I mean cute couple stuff like erm saying "I appreciate your existence" or "you are the loml" or different variations of "te amo" just something sweet so I can connect with him even more, he never pressures me or anything but he gets really happy when I try :)

I don't really want to use duolingo right now because I don't think it teaches just "flirty sentences" plus I want it to sound very natural and like a native!! Please help!! :)

EDIT: I wanted genuine answers not swear words or anything, y'alls are so miserable it's embarrassing.

Fastest way of enquiring method to the universities I want to go attend before applying for admission.

I am F 23 and want to apply for masters in psychology and I checked all of the requirements from the PUBLIC universities that I want to attend and I do pass their requirements but I am still not convinced enough because the requirements aren't mentioned in details in their sites, they're only surface level.

I haven't gotten my marksheet for the very last semester from my undergraduate and there is still one more month until I get my finalized marksheet and then my transcripts.

For reference my university in my home country is marked as H+ in anabin and I have internships and 1 published work in a psychology magazine and will start as a research assistant for clinical psychology with stipend amount as well next month for 3-4 months from Monday to Saturday 7hours a day (I have applied to few waiting for the approval)

Should I wait until my transcripts come to reach out to them about eligibility enquiry?

I have also heard a lot of Native Germans saying that universities reply to emails very late so should I pay extra for international calls and ring them up instead? What is the best and fastest way to go for enquiry.

Should I enquire in english or german? I'm scared because I will only reach C1 level in the end of this year and right now my german is not good so I'm scared of messing up in german even for enquire.

My main enquiry is that if I lack anything in my credits or something I want to know if the university offers anything like "Auflagen" or not.

I do have other fields in psychology lined up if this one doesn't work out so no stress there as well.

Clinical psychology masters in Germany. People with experience, give some insight.

I am F 23 and I will be going to Germany for masters in clinical psychology, so far my german gpa is good and eligible for the course in all of the universities across the country, I will reach B2-C1 by the end of this year. I will be going to public university ONLY.

Anyone who is doing psychology there as a student or has done or is currently working what is your experience? Like anything would be helpful. What is your experience? Like anyone who has experience sitting for license exam as well, share some insight.

My_qualifications: ba psychology graduate.

Do I still need to showToefl or ielts certificate along with german language certificate?

Hello, I am F23 and currently learning German and by December of this year I will reach at least B2 or if I prep extra hard then C1 and the universities that I will apply for, they didn't mention anything about language proficiency certificate for english because well...The course is in German but a lot of students around me, not only my home country but others as well (from non english speaking country of course) still get these certificates.

I asked on Google it says you can just to be safe (safe for what exactly?)

Then I asked native Germans they said they didn't know much about this

Reels and youtube...well I don't think they're reliable at all so I kind of ignored them after watching some videos on it.

So I asked other foreginers studying in Germany and they gave me vague answers as if they didn't really want to help me so here I am...any help with this situation please?

Should I get my english language certificate along with german language proficiency certificate?

I mean does this help with CV when looking for a job? So far my CV is just few internships and 2 articles published in a magazine.

Does this happen often when you're trying to study abroad?

I am F23 and this happened to me few years ago but I must share this now because even now I feel so strange that this happened...and I wonder how many students trying to study abroad also faced this.

So few years years ago I really wanted to study in Japan and basically live my life there and life an honest and fun life, but I wanted to see Japan with my own eyes because it has been a LONG time since I had been on a vacation but I also wanted to see the everyday environment and campus of the universities face to face so I paid for visa and hopped on the flight to Tokyo.

I know that a lot of students don't go to the countires before their student visa but I wanted to travel as well so I went on a travel visa. I went to few universities and all of them were just polite, not nice but just polite.

Good amount of universities that I reached out by paying extra money for international calls when j was still in my home country were so welcoming and nice because I spoke in english but when I went to meet them again face to face after reaching Japan they were HIGHLY disappointed and even asked me "why is your english so good? You come from so and so country"

I met with many counsellors or you can say senior managers who overlooks international students and they ALL sat me down and they were really rude, not just one university but almost around 10-15....

The first thing they said to me was "you sure you can pay? It is expensive" and I was like "I literally paid for visa came to Japan for not only travel but meet you personally and you still think I can't pay?"

He kept saying "you do come from a poor country" and straight up told me "Japanese embassy tries their 'best' to reject students from poor countries like yours, Indonesia, Vietnam, China and such you should give up and go back, make space for students from affluent countries like Germany, U.S, Australia, U.K and Ireland" and they said "don't be greedy" like- CAN PEOPLE WORKING IN EDUCATION EVEN SAY THAT?!?!

All of them gave me different variations of same thing I listed above.

Mind you my country's currency is higher than Japan and I had enough money to stay afloat even if I didn't manage to land job 3yrs after graduation and I even had enough money to pay extra for flight luggage had I were to travel every single time and even go to different countries or roam around the country during holiday seasons while still being a student.

The shock was so much, I couldn't even process anything, I was genuinely so shocked I didn't even know what to say.

To all the foreginers applying to study abroad and not just Japan, does this happen often? I'm still so hurt and angry even now!

Also Japanese universities are so notorious for NOT replying back to emails and picking up calls even though you write or speak in Japanese.

Edit: fixed typos.

How can I connect with my boyfriend better ?

I am F 23 asian and I'm only good at cooking asian food and have intense knowledge about the countries surrounding me so SEA and East asian countries and from west only U.S because I grew up watching Disney!! 😭👉🏼👈🏼

I met my boyfriend last year and we never really had any issues with language because both of us speak at least 3-4 languages but the only difference is that I don't speak Spanish, all the words I know are ONLY CUSS words and he told me some of the words I know are DIABOLICAL and to never use it in public because they're REALLY BAD 😭

As of now I haven't even eaten any authentic mexican food as well because where I live the closest we have is Taco Bell 🥀💔 But even when I choose to eat there he gets really happy and teases me by saying "oh you really love mexican food?" In a singing tone~ 👉🏼👈🏼

we do have restaurants over here but they have incorporated the my current country's taste buds so I don't think they're authentic, as for language I only know how to count from 1-5 in spanish that too bad pronunciation but my boyfriend was really happy and encouraged me a lot!!

Right now I am learning another language and will soon move in with him in Europe but I also want to learn few things, literally anything!! Small cute sentences or even recipes or more knowledge about the culture and such so I can connect with him even more!!

I know 'Te amo' and I do say that to him but my biggest fear is that what if my pronunciation is wrong and I say something bad? But he always looks really happy when I say it so I guess at least j am doing SOMETHING right?

Last time I wanted to ask him about 'Cinco de Mayo' because I saw it in a movie but I butchered in so much he panicked so much!!

He told me it was okay but he was so shocked and nervous laughed but also thought me trying was cute because apparently I mispronounced so badly and said something REALLY offensive 😭💔

Any help would mean so much!! 😭🙏🏼✨️

I am F23 recently finished with last exam for undergraduate and planning to study masters in Germany, so far I've also started learning german and it is quiet an easy language minus the pronunciation, I will be sitting for language proficiency exam around August.

I have converted my home country's grade to german grade and it says my grade is 2.20, mind you my results for the very last semester still hasn't come so so far from my undergraduate 2.20 is the grade from all 5 semesters combined so when I get my results for semester 6 my grades will increase from 2.20.

But as of now is being around 2.20 good enough for scholarships? Idk I feel like 2.20 is VERY LOW and simply NOT good enough for scholarships but I do want to if it's possible or not.

Nevertheless I did check scholarships and so far they're mostly only giving scholarships for engineering or computer science students 💀 even the private universities are doing somewhat same, does anyone have any idea if anyone provides scholarships for medical students by medical I mean psychology students from foregin country?

Any insight as to yes or no will help a lot! Also yes I did check DAAD as well and they don't have any :(

I am F 23 and for the past few years I've been living in mainland India and every since I was a kid I've been travelling all over India and back then it as well it was super bad but now it's astronomical, almost every single day that I step out of the house I get called horrible names and different variations of "go back to your country" (mind you I am not even North East but I'm an immigrant)

What's worse is that I genuinely don't understand why because this is my country, my homeland and my whole life is over here so why do I get treated in such a way?

Before anyone says yes there is racism in all parts of the country, even North East people are very racist towards mainland but can we all stop doing that? Can we stop justifying this by saying "you aren't special, there is racism all over the country, get a thick skin and deal with it" why must I or anyone deal with this when people can learn to behave?

The most heartbreaking day for me was when I was called the most HORRIBLE SLUR while walking with my friend, some random boys thought it was funny and it genuinely scared me so much to step outside the house but I did invole the authorities and they got their deserved consequences.

I have been stalked all the way to my home but both men and women asking me for weird favours like "madam number please" and such, it is very uncomfortable.

Just this morning around 8 am when I went for a walk 2 teen girls, just TEEN GIRLS managed to make me feel uncomfortable because they'd been following me for good 5 minutes, I thought they were just walking the same path as me but every turn I took even the U turn after 5 seconds of walking they did the same thing! I went to more crowded placed booked an auto and went home, the distance was only 800m yet I chose auto instead of walking. This was my limit today.

What is more heartbreaking is that when I travelling abroad, they treat me more like their own rather than my OWN COUNTRY and please don't say "if you like it then move out" like can we fix the issue within rather than telling immigrants to move out? This is same as to when people from U.S, Canada, U.K and Australia telling you to "go back"

I am F 23 and few weeks ago my friend had house warming party (I insisted because well...I like parties) and she was so excited and all of us had a good potluck moment, it was really nice ngl.

So there were around 7-8 people and since all of us (including me) come from WAYYY different culture and half of the attendees even from different countries, all of us either work or currently live in India (giving this context so people think it through and give advice accordingly) so in short it was NOT your typical Indian party.

During the party my friend's (vinny) boyfriend (Cyrus) idk why but I think he felt comfortable enough? He started talking to me but still I kept a VAST distance because well...I am NOT A HOMEWRECKER!!

Nevertheless after dinner all of us started playing cards and it was around 12:00 midnight exactly and I had invited my friend (Balthazar) (he is gay, if this helps the context) and I told him "time to go ig" and we all packed up and were about to leave and right when we were near the stairs Cyrus said "you can come to our place everyday and stay till late NIGHT and we can play cards, even feel free to stay here" to me me IN FRONT OF EVERYONE like in front of Vinny!!

The moment he said that I was so weirded out, Vinny also gave Cyrus the biggest side eye and if that wasn't enough even Balthazar gave him the biggest side eye. I was too freaked out and just said "okay, now behave, you." And moved on.

I realized that Balthazar and I forgot out containers at their house and every single time Vinny always says "come whenever you want!!" So I texted her asking when should I come to pick up our thing but she denied and said "no need to come, I will come and drop it off at your place" so I said "sure" and didn't think much.

Cue to the D day, she came with my container and Cyrus who always smiles in a platonic and friendly way didn't even say "Hi/Hello" and he ignored me so hard and there was 0 eye contact and I was thinking "oh she scolded him" and now Vinny!! omg, she isn't replying to my messages and she stopped inviting me to shopping, lunch meets and even SWIMMING!! WE USED TO GO SWIMMING ALMOST EVERYDAY AND BALTHAZAR ALSO WENT HOME!! I AM ALL ALONE!! 😭💔

HELP!! how can I fix my friendship with VINNY?!
