‘04 TSX with “Japanese Accord Euro R” transmission and engine?

I want to learn to drive stick, so I’m searching for older vehicles just for this that are fun to drive, reliable and inexpensive to maintain. I also wanted to mention that I know nothing about cars, so most maintenance will be done by a mechanic.

With that said, I saw an ‘04 TSX with “Japanese Accord Euro R” transmission and engine for $8k. Plus, it has a bunch of other modifications that I know nothing about (I’ll list them at the bottom).

What do you guys think?

The other stuff it has: Header PLM, Honda pen timing kit, Hondata Flashpro, Unit2Fab oil pan, Coilivers Tein Flex Z, SPC Camber and Toe rear control arms, Skunk 2 Upper front control arms, Hybrid Racing Shifter, Hybrid Racing shifter cables, Enkei 17x9 rims.

How to anchor 13"x22"x15" plastic container to wall?

I have a plastic container that measures 15" (H) x 22"(W) x 13"(H) that will be filled with water. According to AI, this will weigh approximately 140lbs full of water.

How can I securely anchor this to the wall? It will be close to the ceiling so I can use it as well for support.

I wanted to add that this bathroom is pretty small, so this is why I haven't considered buying a table just for this.

Alternatives to sanding mahogany door to remove all residue?

I want to remove all residue/paint/varnish from this mahogany door so that I can add a finish.

How can I do this with this door? I'm a bit scared of sanding it because I don't want to damage the door.

The 2nd pic is the side of the door looking towards the outside and receiving sunlight. That’s why the wood's a bit lighter.

What makes a Scion less exciting than a Fit, Civic or Miata?

Ive posted several questions asking for advice on my first stick shift vehicle. Many Members hace suggested the civic, the Honda fit, the Miata, ford Fiesta, a Focus and even a Corolla. But nobody has mentioned a Scion.

There’s even a mega thread explaining why the Scion tc is so boring. One even said that, although super reliable, he prayed that his Scion got totaled so that he could buy another car since it was incredibly slow.

How come? These are all run of the mill 4-cylinder vehicles.

What makes a car boring to drive? Ex: Scion tc

Background: I’m looking for a car to learn how to drive stick. So I’m looking for something inexpensive, fun and reliable.

With that said, Ive read that the scion tc is very reliable, but it’s a very boring car. Compared to other 4-cylinder cars, why would this particular vehicle be so boring to drive?

$18k budget and pre-2016. What would you buy?

Let’s say I’m looking for an older car (pre 2016) and I had $18k in the US market.

What would you buy that’s reliable, fun to drive and easy/cheap to maintain?

Are older Hyundais really that bad?

I’ve seen several older genesis coupes and velosters at decent prices that are also stick shift.

Why doesn’t anyone like the Hyundai stick shifts?

Acura TSX as first stick shift car?

I want to learn how to drive stick so I’m looking for a nice car that won’t make me regret the decision of buying it in the first place.

What do you guys think of the TSX? At least here you can find a few for under $10K. For example, I saw a ‘11 TSX for $9k.

Small detail: carfax here doesn’t work that well.

Ive also looked at the is250, Infiniti G, genesis coupe, and civic.

For fitting, should leg be completely extended or slightly bent when heel is on pedal and pedal is at lowest point?

I'm trying to fit my bike on my own since bike fitters are expensive and pretty far away.

Wheelworld says:

>To find seat height, place your heels on the pedals and pedal backwards. You've found the optimum seat height when your legs are completely extended at the bottoms of the pedal strokes with your heels on the pedals (photo A).

But welovecycling says:

>The first thing to check is the saddle height. The rule of thumb is to put your heel on the pedal, move the pedal to the lowest point and make sure that your leg is not fully stretched but only slightly bent.

Populate textbox when frame takes focus from another frame?

How can I populate a textbox in a frame when the focus comes from a specific frame?

For example, when I tap a button in Frame1, it takes me to Frame2 with an empty textbox. This works fine.

But when I tap a button in Frame3, it also takes me to Frame2. But this time the textbox in Frame2 should have text.

Is this possible?

Examples of mobile apps with 3 action buttons in main screen

I'm trying to find inspiration for the mobile app I'm designing.

Our mobile app is very simple: the home screen will have 3 action buttons:

  1. Upload files
  2. Submit files
  3. Check status of submitted files

It will also have a small menu where with options to change personal info and a "log out" button. That's all there is to it.

So the question is: what mobile apps have a similar design of 3 action buttons?
