Using the points system from here, I finished rankings for cosmetics. I put number of unique skins in the chart for a comparison view but didn't count them.

The Phoenix and Luna skins coming out this week are counted.

The new characters are mostly in the middle of the list so I think the 1 Epic per season weight works fine for this election.

Here's the full sheet for transparency. Sorry of it has potato resolution, I'm on a phone. I'll draw up a poll with the bottom 15-20.

We only got 26 responses on this, but as usual you want ALL the metrics except maybe sound effects. And then a final vote.

Right now we have a volunteer working on a spreadsheet to track all the effects but it's not finished yet, so I'm going to go ahead an do a point system based on skins and recolors as seen on the Marvel Rivals Skins website which doesn't track effects and once the full cosmetics sheet is done we'll use that.

Here is what I propose:

• 1 point for Default skin and default recolors.
• 1 point for a chroma sold along with a unique skin.
• 2 points for a unique Rare skin.
• 3 points for a unique Epic skin.
• 4 points for a unique Legendary skin.
• 3 points for every season prior a character's launch, simulating a released Epic skin.
• 1 point for every PERMANENT skin in the shop.

So Iron Man's Iron Samurai would net him 5 points as a legendary permanently in the store, Luna Snow's Cherry Delight would be 6 points for a limited legendary with 2 chroma, Storm's Sacred Skies would be 5 points as a legendary with a chroma and Luna's Mirae 2099 would get her 6 points as a legendary permanently in the store with one chroma.

The lowest point getters will be placed on a poll where the community gets final vote and gets to block characters who at least have pretty skins or whatever people are feeling.

Made these yesterday. I went through all 3 sites for heroes with a pickrate below 3%, winrate below 45%, and a banrate under 0.5%. RivalsData is a little different because it has only Diamond+ stats. RivalsTracker does not have a banrate.

The fourth list is just how many times each character showed up on the stats site.

The actual thresholds, though, are subject to adjustment.

The fifth image is the current state of the survey. RivalsData heavily favored. 34 responses. Voting still open until Friday.

The Viability survey is still on, 28 responses. RivalsData is winning and so are ALL the metrics. People also favor getting a list from the metrics and voting on the list.

I was thinking we could do a cutoff for the lowest of the metrics, assemble a list from that and vote. Or a Venn Diagram and vote on anyone hotting two metrics. Or a formula woth a complicated graph and we just vote on the bottom left. So I'm still thinking.

However, I did notice the stats for RivalsData are Diamond and above ONLY. So the list was a bit skewed. So I compared the four sites on the terms I could.

The official site only gives Season 9.5. So I compared it (Both Console and PC comp) to RivalsMeta and RivalsTracker 9.5 data because RivalsData only has Season 10 right now.

Then I compared the Season 10 Diamond + stats of RivalsTracker, RivalsMeta and RivalsData. Both PC and Console comp.

And finally I put up the heroes with a winrate under 45 for Season 10 in ALL ranks on RivalsMeta and RivalsTracker.

The results are the same across the sites, deviations are due to rank and season and are reflected on each site. It looks like all 3 tracker sites are generally equal and whatever caused the Devil Dinosaur Discrepancy in Season 9 is done with.

Oh, and Phoenix? Her winrate has been close to 45% since Season 4. Its not just suddenly a bad season. She is why I have been pushing agajnst just using winrate.

The second image is a Venn Diagram of 3 stats from the RivalsData site to show which heroes had multiple issues. Squirrel Girl won.

So we had 88 responses, and some answers were clear while others weren't so I'm doing a runoff survey for the metrics.

1. 56.8% to 43.2% in favor of splitting to categories.

2. Clear winners: Hero Viability and Cosmetics categories.

3. 61.4% in favor of community vote having a partial effect on the winners, and this is probably a better idea than straight winrate.

4. Overwhelmingly in favor of no numbers cap on the lineup.

5. As only winrate won the metrics but you did all favor a partial community vote I'm going to do a runoff poll on the metrics.

6. RivalsMeta won the site vote. I'm going to ask this one again with the main site because for season 9.5 it has all the heroes. I left the official site off because in a previous season it didn't have all the heroes for some reason. Problem of course is there is no historical data there. Unless one of you can find it while I can't, in which case link it here.

7. RivalsTracker won the teamup stats vote.

8. Just to demonstrate why a metric besides winrate might be in order, here's the lowest 10 winrates according to RivalsMeta. If you hadn't mostly asked for partial community vote in the other question, this would be the new Viability list.

So I know Squirrel Girl's skin is a different line, and it's permanent in the store and not epic but I can't help but notice it's the only swimsuit Doreen got while Ben got one in both lines.

And I can't help but notice that it, like Storm, is epic.

The difference between Doreen and every female character in the summer line is obvious. She has a different body type. And honestly, I love that and I love this swimsuit but I believe the devs have given her this modest skin and nothing in the new line because she is chunkier than the other female characters and they don't think she is attractive enough to sell a legendary swimsuit enough to make up for their time.

Storm is the only other female swimsuit that's epic, and I believe that's for the SAME reason we don't have a legendary Squirrel Girl swimsuit, the devs don't think she is attractive enough to sell a legendary swimsuit enough to make up for their time.

Storm has the same body type as the female characters that have legendaries. There is only one difference and that is she's black. It's freaking high school logic again. They don't think anyone likes the black girl or the fat girl.

It sucks for both and is wrong, but instead of sexism it's racism that's driving their logic about Storm.

We should buy the skin, and like with Mr. Fantastic, USE the skin in at least one match after buying it so that it shows up on the usage stats. It can give some data to go against their assumptions. But Marvel Rivals does have a race problem.

(And a sexism problem, because watch every female swimsuit be legendary again until they get to Angela and she gets an epic.)

So in the trailer we get Xavier seeing an impending disaster, Doom arriving on a scene, and then the Marvel logo.

Right after the ominous stuff, Thor says "I've fought with many warriors in my time" over an establishing shot of MCU New York.

Then we pause and see this cut.

Reed is not only the only one in focus while the others are in the background, he's the first face associated with fighting the threat introduced in the previous clips. He's followed by a shot that closes in Sam and Bucky and then the grand conference of 3 teams.

Further, his white jacket is used in the other shots of the trailer to make him pop out in shadowy shots, suggesting a bright spot in the darkness. This is interesting because you know in that briefing he has exposition just as dire as Thor does and explaining the worlds will collide soon, but Thor and the X-men are used to convey the level of threat we're dealing with here.

I don't think he's being downplayed. I think his presence and arrival is major. He's just not as familiar as Thor and Steve so we get Thor's voiceover and end with Steve being used to establish trust, on the Fantastic 4 ship, to emphasize the Fantastic Four are literally bringing hope and trust in the future to the situation and Reed is unquestionably introduced as the leader of the Fantastic Four.

Another small sample, 45 people, but possibly enough for a snapshot.

Most respondents would have voted for him to join, reflecting the election results.

The people who voted against generally say he is too powerful even in Season 8.

Those who voted for him say he has very few skins and has been overnerfed.

The suggestions to get him out include both more skins and updsting his kit possibly to include some trick arrows.

I've attached results with screencaps of write-in answers.

Already with the teamups Hawkeye seems stronger and has an upcoming skin. I see more Hawkeyes in game. Season 9 may be a new beginning for him.

EDIT: I don't kniw why the images got remixed. Sorry.

Only got a small sample size of less than 30, but it seems like the main reason to graduate Hulk was he felt good in Season 8.5.

The main argument against was skins, and he does have a low number of costumes. But the devs have given him another new skin this season so things are looking good.

Hopefully with the new teamup system, Hulk stays viable and fun.

To show how badly Storm is being neglected here I've made a few charts.

The first is a raw count of skins, divided into rarity, chroma and recolors.

Second is adjusting those counts for the season a character was added at a rate of at least a recolor per season.

Then we have that with the roadmap season 9 skins added.

As you can see, Storm has half as many skins as other female S0 characters in an environment where JUST FEMALE BODIED LOKI HAS 2 LEGENDARIES AND 2 LEGENDARY CHROMA. Storm has one legendary and no chroma in an environment where other female X-men have as much as 5 legendaries and 10 chroma.
