#LilUziVert is suing rehab facility Oro House Recovery Centers and one of its employees, accusing them of secretly recording and sharing private therapy sessions without consent.

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Uzi alleges that employee Lynn Tumpa recorded part of a therapy session during the rapper's stay at the facility in 2022. The lawsuit claims Tumpa later shared the recording with her nephew, and it eventually surfaced on social media in 2024.

The lawsuit accuses the rehab center and Tumpa of breaching confidentiality, violating privacy laws, and negligently handling confidential patient information. Uzi is seeking compensatory, punitive, and statutory damages, with the amount to be determined at trial.

The case is ongoing, and a judge recently ruled that Uzi cannot be forced to travel to California for a deposition.

Instead, the rapper has agreed to be deposed in New York or by video.
