Sweeney’s signings of E. Lindholm, H. Lindholm and Zadorov are all aging badly

Looks like there is credible rumor - that the Bruins almost traded Zadorov for Nurse. But Zadorov nixed the trade (partial NTC).

In the playoffs - game 3 - he sustained a full MCL tear.

I'm sure Sweeney didn't intend to sign these vets hoping for bad health. He just made bad bets. All three have at least 4 more years left on their contracts.

I wonder if, due to this matter, Sweeney's mind has been clouded and he is apprehensive about giving Zacha an 8 x 8 extension-type deal, and instead is offering a 4 to 5-year extension.

Arvidsson rejects Bruins offer, heads to free agency

According to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman, he was offered a deal around two-years, $5 million, but given that he’s headed to free agency, he has seemingly turned down the Original Six franchise.

“Someone said to me that they heard that Boston offered him like 2×5 or something like that,” Friedman said. “That obviously didn’t work, so we’ll see what happens.”

Bruins UFA targets

In no order

Not qualified - becomes UFA July 1st

  1. Matthew Kessel 6'3 RHD - St. Louis Blues did not qualify him. He is basically like a younger Andrew Peeke but with a better 1st three steps. Unremarkably steady.

  2. Matias Macceli 5'11 LW - A fast skating playmaker. Scored 39 pts in 71 games last season. Defensive game needs work.

  3. Arthur Kaliyev 6'2 LW - Sturm coached him during their tenure with Ontario Reign. Good scoring instincts and shot. Heavy footed like Morgan Geekie.

  4. Ryan Suzuki 6'1 C (UFA group 6) - From online rumors - looks like Habs are a favorite to sign him - so he can join his brother Nick. Good skater and offensive upside. Not physical. Play style similar ish to Zacha. Had a strong AHL playoffs.

RFAs(qualified) but with little to no space on their teams roster - could be trade bait

  • David Spacek 6'0 RHD - Good skater, physical and has offensive upside but also solid defensively.

  • Bredan Schneider 6'2 RHD - Bruins rumored to have had interest in the past. Good skater and physical. Mainly a stay at home D. He is coming off a tough shoulder surgery. Risky potential pickup.

  • Scott Morrow 6'2 RHD - Good skater and offensive upside. Rough around the edges on the defensive end.

  • Vincent Iorio 6'4 RHD - Similar to Matt Kessel profile. Moves better than Andrew Peeke. But only has average top speed.

** Schneider, Morrow and Iorio all from the NYR system. There is a very good chance at least one or two will be available via trade.

The DRAM ETF Advantage: Market-Cap Weighting Over Standalone Stocks

This is what some bears fail to realize.

No individual holding can exceed a 25% weighting. But if Seagate is the next company to surge because AI's next wave of demand shifts toward hard drive storage, DRAM evolves with it.

That's why DRAM will continue to be part of the AI "drama" for the forseeable future.

At the end of the day, there's no reason to sell DRAM or MU (or SK Hynix). You can hold both.

DRAM ETF - holdings by AI theme

AI Compute Memory (HBM/DRAM):

  • SK Hynix
  • Samsung
  • Micron
  • Nanya

AI Storage (NAND/HDD/SSD):

  • SanDisk
  • Kioxia
  • Western Digital
  • Seagate

Embedded & Specialty Memory:

  • GigaDevice
  • Winbond
  • Phison
  • Macronix

Darnell Nurse willing to waive his no trade clause - for the Penguins, Flyers or Bruins

As per Elliotte Friedman. Wow someone is willing to waive their NTC and lists the Bruins as one of their preferred destination?

Nurse including next season has 4 more years left at 9.25m aav.

Trade idea

  • To Oilers: Korpisalo, Lohrei, Mittelstadt, Kuraly

  • To Bruins: Nurse, Samanski, Lewandowski

** Samanski and Lewandowski - German descent.

If this trade occured

  • The GOOD: Get rid of Korpisalo's contract. DiPietro becomes an affordable backup. Open up space for younger Bruins to make the parent club. Nurse is still considered a top 4 D - at least for the next 2 years.

  • The BAD: Nurse play regresses. On the hook for 9.25m aav for several more season.

Pull the trigger or no?

If Oiler want anything more than suggested above. Hang up the phone.

Draft Day 2: Bruins - 2nd to 7th Round Picks

2nd - 6'2 Yuri Ivanov G - Spartak Jr. (Russia)

3rd 5'11 Nils Bartholdsson RW - Rogle Jr. (Sweden)

4th 6'1 Matvei Kotkov RW Yaroslavl Jr. (Russia)

4th 6'4 Oscar Olsson LW - Orebro Jr. (Sweden)

5th - 6'5 Jacob Vandeven LHD - London Knights

6th - 6'2 Roberto Henriquez G - Green Bay Gamblers

7th - 6'2 Cullen McCrate RHD - Fargo Force

Analysis from online sources:

Ivanov is considered a reach as he was ranked the 10th best goalie prospect of the draft. In goalie Bob we trust.

Accolades: During the 2026 MHL playoffs, he carried an enormous workload for MHK Spartak Moskva, playing virtually every single minute of their deep postseason run. He locked down 16 playoff appearances, maintaining a spectacular 2.15 GAA and .928 save percentage.

Bartholdsson is considered a relentless forchecker that has a good shot and that is willing to cut through the middle of the ice. He has a high motor. Solid skating foundation, with room for continued growth.

Kotkov won the 2026 MHL playoffs MVP - scoring 9 goals and 15 points in 18 games. He grew from 5'11 to 6'1. His off-puck work rate is his defining strength.  Skating can improve.

2024-2025 Buffalo Sabres official JJ Paterka (#77) highlights

https://youtu.be/laAGoC7nk18?si=VttpXR3wvb2auNOM

Quick Bio: Slick hands, explosive first three steps, good at protecting the puck along the boards and a strong motor. The bad is - though he is strong along the walls, he is not a physical player, doesn't block shots and overall is considered to have average defensive skills.

Two late 1sts is a fair trade. To fill the void left by the loss of Jake DeBrusk.

Accolade:

  • 2023 IIHF World Championship Silver Medalist: Led Germany to a historic second-place finish, securing the country's first tournament medal in 70 years.

  • 2023 IIHF Directorate Best Forward: Officially named the top forward of the tournament over elite, established NHL superstars after scoring 6 goals and 6 assists for 12 total points in 10 games, finishing tied for 2nd overall in tournament scoring.

  • 2023 IIHF Media All-Star Team Selection: Voted by international journalists as one of the premier players of the entire global showcase.

  • National Sports Icon Status: Cemented himself as a German hockey hero at just 21 years old by bringing ice hockey into the mainstream national spotlight.

Which eatery in the GTA tastes like Adel's Famous Halal Food truck in NYC?

So similar to Halal Guys but more like Adels instead. Has anybody come across a eatery like that in Toronto?

I'm specifically looking for - orange rice, seared chicken (not vertical spit roasted meat) - and very good white and hot sauces.

Speculation: Samsung is likely to follow SK Hynix’s lead and list in the U.S. via ADR

Articles posted - 06/25/2026

https://m.techflowpost.com/newsletter/126409?lang=en-US

Samsung is anticipated to list in the U.S. market through American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), according to Jeff Kim, Head of Research at Jefferies. This move would mirror SK Hynix's recent strategy and is expected to enhance the stock valuations of Korean chipmakers, which currently trail behind those of Micron.

https://m.koreaherald.com/article/10788326

With SK hynix shares surging after the chipmaker unveiled plans to list American depositary receipts, Samsung Electronics could see a fresh rerating if it pursues a similar move, KB Securities said Thursday.

Shares of SK hynix have rallied on optimism surrounding its planned Nasdaq ADR listing, briefly overtaking Samsung Electronics earlier this week to become South Korea's most valuable listed company by market capitalization.

Samsung Electronics could also benefit from a US ADR listing, which would broaden access for global investors, according to a report by KB Securities research head Kim Dong-won.

"Recent meetings with overseas investors showed that interest in a potential US ADR listing for Samsung Electronics was far stronger than expected. Many investors viewed such a move as a powerful catalyst for the company's shares."

While Samsung Electronics had long been Korea's market bellwether, retaining its position as the most valuable company on the benchmark Kospi since 2000, SK hynix surpassed its rival in market capitalization for the first time on Monday. Although Samsung Electronics regained the lead on Wednesday, the gap between the two remains narrow.

"Given Samsung Electronics' current undervaluation and favorable market conditions, a US ADR listing scenario cannot be easily ruled out," the report added.

An all-time high trading volume was reached today, with DRAM trading 103 million shares and RAM trading 26 million shares.

The previous record high for DRAM was 82 million shares traded on June 23, 2026. It was a record breaking like second day for the RAM (2x DRAM) ETF debut, pulling in staggering volume for a new fund.

Roundhill must be happy.

Just terrible luck so far - starting with losing the 2026 Leafs 1st

  1. Not only lose the Leafs 2026 1st (6th to 8th) range. But to add to insult they win the 1st pick (likely McKenna). McKenna will be a pain to play against for years to come.

  2. Leafs have made the necessary upgrades to look like a playoff contender again. Thus the 2028 Leafs 1st - looks non lotto bound.

  3. To add salt to the wound, the Panthers recently traded for Brady Tkachuk- and the 2027 Panthers 1st likely lost a lot of value.

  4. Lastly, most of the good UFAs have been traded and signed to long term extensions.

Sweeney still has a chance to maybe trade a couple of 1sts for McTavish and Zellweger? But ... I could see other teams with better picks winning that foot race as well.

A trade to obtain Jason Robertson is a pipe dream. It would easily take Letourneau, Minten and three 1sts. In addition to a large bag of money to extend him. I just don't know if Sweeney has the stomach to do that.

I have already posted that ... what the Bruins may do instead is - try to find the next Morgan Geekie. Mid 20s years old RFA turned UFA. Or UFA group 6. Example like an Aspirot.

The best ones available

  • Ryan Suzuki 25 years old - 6'1 Center/Left wing. Former 1st round pick - Brother of Nick Suzuki of the Habs. Not as talented but he is bigger, skates very well and is considered to have offensive upside. He has little to no NHL experience. But has done well at AHL level/AHL playoffs this past season.

  • Kailer Yamamoto 27 years old - 5'9 Winger. Former 1st round pick. Reminiscent of Khusnutdinov imo. Small but with a high motor/relentless forchecker. Good enough to produce about 30 pts a season.

  • AJ Greer 29 years old - 6'3 winger. Even though some here scoff at the idea to bring him back. He scored 17 goals last season. Willing to crash the net. He plays with high pace, his skating has improved and as per advanced stats - he can maintain high level of energy throughout shifts.

  • John Carlsson - 36 year old - RHD. Suddenly he becomes the 1st or 2nd most sought after RHD of the UFA class. Other than Rasmus Andersson. He is looking for a 2 year 10m aav final deal of his career.

  • Jacob Trouba - 32 years old - RHD. More of a bottom pairing type D. Physical. OK mobility. He is looking for a final big payday from someone.
