Proud to say i was here when a couple of redditors decided to start HC. Been committed to HC ever since. Was hoping to have a success story and I finally do.

Laid off May 2025, accepted a low paying job Sept 2025 ( not HC).

I figured I would keep looking for a job with actual benefits and better pay and exclusively used HC. Found 2 job posting June 15. Dusted off my resume and applied June 16, June 17 had interviews set up for week of June 22-26.

I was offered both positions. I chose the one that had great benefits and was double my current salary. I start July 20. I am so glad i was lucky enough and spending way too much time on reddit and saw a post by Ali on another sub about starting this job board.

Its a great resource, no noise, and is effective.

Recent ADHD dx: 100MG strattera/3mg guanfacine

Yall. I was just offered a dream job. Making the most I've ever made with great benefits. I've been working my whole life for this and I DID it! ... But why do I not care? Is it my adhd meds? My peri ennui?

Like WTF is wrong with me? I am not excited about this at all and feel flat. I can take it or leave. Is this normal (doesnt seem like it should be)?

Very lucky to have an offer from a Sponsor (oncology) and a almost guaranteed offer from MedTech cro (awaiting a "fit" interview).

My experience is mostly glp/gclp/gcp and software quality.

Seeking some advice on which way I should go because they both feel right.

I am looking for stability long term another 5 to 9 yrs- I know its no guarantee.

Working on Sponsor side is different and exciting and I can apply my experience. (Pay will be 60k what I make now with up to 25% travel)

Medtech is also exciting because I get to work in GMP and learn about thats space. (Pay is 35k what I make now with travel 12 to 15 times a year)

Any words of wisdom/advice? Benefits of working Sponsor side vs Medical Device CRO?

Edit to add: my concern is the ADHD meds (sorry my post isnt clear)

Wondering if anyone experienced the same issues on ADHD meds while also in peri as it is an unknown combo for me.

51f.5"5" 137lbs. Started medication May 1 2026: atomoxetine 100mg (fast titration 25mg>50>75>100mg every 5 days until 100mg) and guanfacine(3mg) . 0.075 patch E/200mg progesterone

My resting hearate has increased from 66–85 to 90–115 bpm. My sleeping heart rate averages about 90-95 bpm and i barely sleep. Walking around the house raises my heart rate to 130–150 bpm, and I become short of breath and sometimes lightheaded/dizzy. My blood pressure has increased from about 115/75 to around 120/85. I've had other side effects fatigue etc but these physical ones seem to outweigh any benefits. I need some advice on others experiences do I carry on? Hydrate more? Titrate down? I plan on contacting my NP psychiatrist again today about this.

I know the meds take a long time to kick in but the heartrate and breathlessness and insomnia have me concerned.

Had an interview with VP of my group. i had just had an amazing interview with another company right before so felt confident going into this one.

As I was interviewing I realized I was fumbling, I kept trying to answer better and think about my answers. My heart was thumping-it was too much- I really just needed a minute to take a deep breath and gather my thoughts.

The interview was set for 30 minutes. At the end, the VP asked if I had time to continue the interview.

I didnt as there was another interview set up for directly after with his direct reports and me.

How should I interpret him wanting more time with me? It could be because I was fumbling my answers and nervous rather than the usual "its a good sign". I think he may have been on the fence about me and needed more time?

And I also feel he could have set up another meeting with me if he needed more?

He did say my CV read great and my experience was amazing. Im a better on paper than talking person, lol. I have the chops just had a adrenaline kick during my interview that affected my responses.

Wanting some input from folks who may have been thru similar.

1. How should I prepare for this interview with the VP? I am not sure if he will lean more towards technical knowledge or behavioral questions. 2. What sort of questions should i ask them (planning on asking about travel)?

Interviewing for a remote job with no travel requirement posted. During the interview, i ask if there is travel involved as it is an auditor role so I figured there may be. HM said 25% site and vendor visits.

What does this look like for those that have 25% traveI jobs? I'd rather not travel monthly or a lot tbh. But the pay is almost double what I make now so its tempting.

Edit to add: JD had no travel listed for role. Its an auditor role (GCP/GMP/vendor) and HM mentioned that the team travels onsite for FDA audits.
