[RotoWire.com] Every 2026 World Cup squad ranked by average age — Côte d'Ivoire youngest (25.48), Colombia oldest (29.98)

RotoWire crunched the projected rosters for all 48 teams. Some highlights:

  • Youngest: Côte d'Ivoire (25.48), Ecuador (25.62), Algeria (25.67)
  • Oldest: Colombia (29.98), Panama (29.52), Iran (29.00)
  • Hosts: USMNT 26.00 (T-4th youngest), Canada 26.23, Mexico 27.23
  • Favorites: Spain 26.65, France 26.31, England 27.00, Brazil 27.64, Argentina 28.91 (5th oldest in the tournament)

Historical context: the average World Cup winner since 1986 has been 26.91, which would rank just 17th youngest this year. 2022 Argentina was the second-oldest champion in 40 years, and they're basically running it back.

[RotoWire] 2026 NFL Schedule Rankings: Loss Index Grades All 32 Teams

We're #3 in punishment behind KC and Buffalo. 27,568 round-trip miles is among the most in the NFL, and we're staring at the 6th-hardest strength of schedule. The ONE gift: a Week 11 bye right after our Munich game against Detroit (apparently most teams with international trips didn't get that luxury, so I'll take the W).

Brutal slate for a team trying to take the next step, but honestly? Trial by fire. If Drake Maye and this roster can grind through this gauntlet, we'll know exactly what we have. Do Your Job. 💪https://www.rotowire.com/football/article/nfl-schedule-rankings-loss-index-grades-all-32-teams-114945

[RotoWire.com] 2026 NFL Schedule Rankings: Loss Index Grades All 32 Teams

Loss Index has us at 62.8, second only to KC.

Are you kidding me? The schedule makers really sat down and said "let's make Josh Allen earn every single inch." Fine. We've been here before. Hardest road in the AFC and we're still bringing the Lombardi home. GO BILLS. https://www.rotowire.com/football/article/nfl-schedule-rankings-loss-index-grades-all-32-teams-114945

[RotoWire.com] The Most Hated NHL Team in Every State

So apparently being good is a crime now? RotoWire dropped a piece breaking down the most hated team in every state and your Vegas Golden Knights lead the league with 11 states wanting us dead. Cup Final in year one, Cup in 2023, running the Pacific ever since. Sounds like jealousy to me. Keep crying, the desert dogs are here to stay.

So RotoWire just dropped a state-by-state "most hated NBA team" map and we lapped the field. Most hated in 11 states — Knicks at 10, Lakers at 8. We beat out two of the league's blue bloods.

The list of states that hate us most reads like a tour of teams we've personally ended:

  • Colorado (Nuggets — sorry not sorry)
  • Indiana (Pacers — Finals scars)
  • Minnesota (Wolves)
  • Tennessee (Grizzlies)
  • Washington (...yeah, fair)
  • Plus AK, IA, MS, ND, SD, WY

This is what defending a chip and posting the league's best record gets you. Hate is just respect with extra steps. Keep crying, we're cooking.

So RotoWire just dropped their 2025-26 Bandwagon Score and we're sitting pretty at No. 1 with an 82.4. Higher than Vegas. Higher than Toronto. Higher than everyone.

I'd be lying if I said part of me didn't smile at this. We were the punchline for years — empty BB&T Center jokes, "do they even have a team?" tweets, the whole thing. Two Cup runs and a three-peat attempt later and suddenly everyone in South Florida owns a Tkachuk jersey.

Love seeing the building loud. Love seeing kids in Cats gear at the grocery store. But man, missing the playoffs at 84 points was the ultimate stress test, and I'm curious how many of the new flock are still around next October. The OGs who sat through the Jokinen years know what I mean.

Welcome aboard, bandwagoners. Just please learn the rat trick story before you tell it wrong. 🐀 https://www.rotowire.com/hockey/article/most-bandwagon-nhl-fanbases-113438

Bookies.com just released their Tailgate Behavior Index and the Pack came in at #1 with an 83.2/100 — the only fanbase to break 80. They scored everyone on stadium-area crime, visitor safety, tailgate culture, and hospitality, and we topped the league.

The article literally credits the publicly-owned model for the fan culture. Lambeau parking lot on a Sunday morning truly is something else. Brats, beers, and bringing visitors into your circle.

Detroit came in dead last at 22.9. Just saying. Go Pack Go.

Pretty cool find. RotoWire ran a composite z-score across passer rating, TD%, INT%, and passing YPG comparing regular-season vs. postseason production for every QB since 2010. Baker came out on top.

  • RS passer rating 91.2 → PO 105.9 (+14.7)
  • Passing YPG: 231.9 → 267.6 (+35.7)
  • Includes the 2020 Browns wild-card win in PIT and the 2024 Bucs WC run

Saw a RotoWire piece break down the most hated NFL team in every state, and we tied for #1 with the Raiders and Jets. Six whole states officially can't stand us — Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

Here's the thing though: the Raiders haven't won a playoff game since 2002. The Jets haven't even been to the playoffs since 2010. We're up there because we've been actually good — third-most wins this century behind only the Pats and Steelers, and still the all-time championship leader.

If half the Midwest wakes up mad at us every Sunday, that means we're doing something right. Go Pack Go.

With Boston firing Cora over the weekend, Espada has jumped to the top of the "next manager fired" board. The Astros sit 10-18 with the worst pitching ERA in the AL, and reports have him and GM Dana Brown both operating on the final year of their deals.

Updated editorial odds from Bookies.com:

  • Joe Espada (HOU): +175 (36.4%)
  • Rob Thomson (PHI): +225 (30.8%)
  • Carlos Mendoza (NYM): +350 (22.2%)
  • Matt Quatraro (KC): +550 (15.4%)
  • Tony Vitello (SF): +900 (10.0%)
  • Aaron Boone (NYY): +1200 (7.7%)
  • The Field: +500 (16.7%)
