So a while back I played through Koudelka, enjoyed it except for the battle system...a take so cold it was at the bottom of my freezer. So here is a hot take, Roger Bacon is best girl.

I knew nothing about Shadow Hearts, even though I was well aware of stuff back then. I never came across it.

Watched a couple videos from Dungeon Chill and Earlybird, then spun it up on an emulator because since nobody is selling it new, the only people making money on the game are scalpers. Have you seen the prices on Ebay? If there was an official way, 100% would have done that. Plus I used Retro Achievements.

So....I enjoyed it. It has similar issues to RPGs of the time like magic spell/summon cutscenes going on too long. The judgment ring grew on me, gave you an incentive to not try to passively go through battles, made grinding a bit of a pain since I usually do a speed up when grinding and it's harder to do the ring when the emulator is running at double speed.

I actually tried to get into Shadow Hearts not long after finishing Koudelka, and was turned off by Yuri's....comments about Alice early on when she was passed out after the train incident. Gave it a second chance and had fun.

Dunno when I'll get into Covenant. I dunno if it will be right away.

Sega CD had ports of Genesis games, but what if instead, they sold CD expansions for Genesis games. You have Sonic 3, and you can get an expansion CD which gives you FMVs and CD quality music. Phantasy Star IV getting the same treatment would be cool as well.

Basically similar to what Watermelon did with Pier Solar.

Would the system be better regarded?

Is it supposed to be

Shadow Hearts 1 (bad ending)

Shadow Hearts 2 (good ending)

Shadow Hearts 1 (good ending)

Koudelka (as a flashback)

Yakuza 6

Shadow Hearts 3?

The ending would have to change of course, but what if Jason himself was not resurrected and his soul inhabits the area and possesses people to kill, giving a springboard for a new series of sequels.

Something that in a vacuum sounds smart but is not.

I'm thinking someone saying "Final Fantasy III is actually VI"

I am running an emulation box with Debian 13, and I use FTP to move files from my unraid server to the box.

I am running this via Ethernet, both systems are on a 1GB ethernet connection. The files are being dropped onto an SSD. FileZilla is only transferring at a rate of 2 MB/s from the Unraid Server to my Debian machine. It has no issues saturating the network when used with other machines on the network. The weirder thing is that if I open the unraid server up as a network drive, I can pull things much faster on the actual machine instead of FTP.

First, he will try to bring the 22nd Amendment before the supreme court in date 2027. Evidence will be fabricated to make it seem like the 80th Congress meant for the 22nd to mean consecutive terms. Should this be successful, we will see leap frogging presidents until the amendment is reinterpreted.

If that fails, he will try to run anyway. In date 2028, there will be a legal case because states refuse to put him on the ballot and the Republicans will run someone else. On election day, he will claim victory and a stolen election, and refuse to give up power. It will take the national guard to pull him out of the white house in 2029.

Evidence: These are all things he's done before. His behaviors have a noticeable pattern.
