It's not enough to have discs
In 2005 when the 360 launched, and saw it had online connectivity and sent updates through the internet, I saw right away, I said to a friend that they would brick your console at some point, likely when the next generation is out to force you to buy a new system. They called me crazy.
Now they are taking away online purchases, and telling you to kick rocks. They lock you in a cage. Yea, I know physical discs are just installers, they don't have the actual game on it like on the PS2, it installs to the internal storage because many of the games coming out would suck if the game had to stream from disc. It kind of sucked on PS2, which is why so many of us were installing modchips and running HDLoader to install PS2 games to a hard drive, faster load times.
We don't just need the option of owning physical discs, the discs must be able to be installed and played offline.
Had a dream there was a website called Bean Pics, where users posted pictures of their cats feet and users rated them.
Organizing a physical media swap meet
Might be a stretch but wouldn't it be fun to organize a swap meet to buy, sell and trade physical media; movies, games and music of any format.
