Question about the upcoming single player update:

I'm getting the game on PS5 once it launches, and I was curious if anyone had heard if they would be ditching the system where you have to constantly have your base powered or it would be erased? I've lost my base countless times because life just gets busy and it makes it feel like a chore. I know the main reason is because it's multiplayer and so that space would need to be freed up for someone else if you're not active. But if it's single player, maybe there can be a different system?
