Any hope for modding Halo Infinite

Hi, well I really love all these games. I’ve played Halo CE, 3, and Reach so many times I can’t even count, so just imagine my excitement with an open-world Halo, where you can explore, collect items, and do side objectives—it’s truly amazing for me.

It’s just that there are no mods, and I genuinely wonder why? I should clarify that I don’t know anything about the modding process. I mean, I know in general how it goes and that some projects can be difficult, but what stops modders like you, who really know, from doing things like adding new enemies or vehicles to the campaign, or maybe just tweaking damage/health values on enemies to create a sort of Legendary+? What makes it so difficult?

This is really a genuine question from someone who doesn’t know anything. Thanks, and sorry for my bad English.

Is there any way to "improve" a spell, shield, etc.?

I got the spell Lovestruck Beau and I love it, but it has very low damage and short duration. Is there any way to ‘improve’ it, or maybe get it back with better stats?"

Is this a virus? What should I do?

¿Qué debo hacer? thanks and sorry bad english

Which websites are safe for downloading games?

Well, the pages I use are Pivigames and Blizzboygames, and as far as I know they are safe. But I was wondering if they really are safe or if they have viruses? Which ones are actually safe? Thanks, and sorry for my bad English.

How can I know if my PC has a virus?

Hi, for some time now some icons on my PC have been turning blank out of nowhere, and I’m worried it might be a virus. So I was wondering if simply running a full scan with Windows Defender would be enough? I mean, will it find and remove them on its own? And if the scan shows 0 viruses, does that mean there’s no problem?

thanks and sorry bad english

[OTHER] What is the "kingdom come deliverance of fantasy" for you?

Well, so far I’ve only been able to play KCD 1 (I hope I can play the second part soon). For me it could perfectly be the best medieval game that exists. Thinking about it, I’d like to know your opinions on games as complete and well-made as KCD 1 or 2 but in the fantasy genre. Skyrim comes to mind (although I’m not much of a fan of it), so what’s yours?

Thanks and sorry for my bad English.

Help me choose a good haircut and learn how to style my hair.

Well, it may sound silly, but that’s what the title says.

I’m confused about how to style my hair—I feel like I never really did it right or learned how to do it properly. Usually what I do is just comb all my hair back every now and then, like after getting out of the shower or when I’m going out, and then I mess it up a bit with my hands to give it that kind of ‘messy look.’ The thing is, obviously that can’t be all, right? When I’ve gone to barbers and stuff, after cutting my hair (and I guess this happens to everyone), the barber usually styles it similar to the cut I asked for and it always looks super good, at least when he does it. So I wonder how I’m supposed to style it so that it looks the same as when I leave the barbershop?

Now the second thing: I’m trying to find a good haircut that suits the shape of my face. For reference, right now I have more or less a wolfcut, but it doesn’t look quite right on me. While researching I found the whole thing about haircuts according to face shape, and although I’m still not sure (all that about diamond-shaped, square, oval faces confused me quite a bit), I think I have a long face and a somewhat big forehead, and as the forehead goes up from the eyebrows to the skull it kind of ‘sinks in’ a bit—I don’t know if I’m explaining myself. But it would be great to have some advice for a cut that actually suits me.

Thanks everyone and sorry for my bad English.

Is the Borderlands saga worth it for the story?

edit: So it seems the story isn't very important, so after Tiny Tina's, which game should I play in terms of satisfying gameplay, loot, grinding, and leveling up?

Any spaceship/space station management games with action or where you lead a team against alien zombies?

I was looking for spaceship management games, and the best one I found was Space Haven. The game looks great, but I'm pretty sure it lacks action. I'm looking for one where, in addition to keeping the crew/colonists happy and satisfied, I also have to deal with space pirates or some kind of outbreak on the ship, where I have to send in a security team and clear the area. It would also be great if you could recommend one where I participate in and lead an assault team that has to face alien monsters. Dead Space 1 comes to mind as an example (although your team isn't exactly helping you much, to say the least.) or the Flood missions from the Halo series, which are brutal and terrifying. That's what I'm looking for. Thanks, and sorry for my bad English.

Is there any way to run Warhammer Space Marines 2 on my PC?

Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask, but could anyone tell me if there's any way to play it on my system (GTX 1060, 16GB RAM, i3-7100, 1TB SSD)? I managed to get the game running and play through the entire prologue fairly smoothly, but the loading times are usually very long, and the loading between the prologue and Chapter 1 is interminable, so I can't finish it. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks, and sorry for my bad English.

bumps and touching the nose after rhinoplasty

Well, it's been two months since my surgery. To be exact, it's been four weeks since they gradually removed the splint and bandages, and then another four weeks of resting at home with nothing on my nose (just in case the first few weeks didn't count or something). Anyway, today I went to a friend's house and we were chatting when he started jokingly singing to me while waving his hand around. He accidentally "tapped" the tip of my nose with his finger, and it only bothered me a little momentarily. A few seconds later, there was no pain, swelling, bleeding, or anything (it's been hours since then). But honestly, I was really scared. Could that cause some kind of malformation and ruin the result? From what I've researched, there's no bleeding or pain, and if it was just a small tap, I shouldn't have any problems at this point, but I'm still really scared and wanted to know if anyone else has had the same thing happen. Also, can I touch my nose while I shower to clean it, or should I avoid that too? How gently should I do it? Thank you, and please excuse my poor English.

Is there any way to play single-player games in split-screen or LAN mode?

Sorry, r/pcgaming keeps deleting my post, so I thought I'd put it here.

Well, I've been playing a lot of split-screen co-op with my friend, but the games we usually play—especially story-driven co-op games—are running out of options. It's getting harder and harder to find a game we can play that way. I found Nucleus Co-op, but it doesn't work well for me because I live in a place with a very unstable internet connection. Since I also have a laptop in addition to my PC, I was wondering if there's something similar to Nucleus Co-op but for playing over a local network (if there's any other tool that isn't so complicated or doesn't require internet for split-screen, that would be great). Thanks, and sorry for my bad English.

Any good co-op games with a campaign?

how to play on LAN

Hi, I've almost never played LAN games. Most of the time, either a friend connected us or I had to rack my brains for hours trying to figure out how to play, since I had no idea. So I'd like to start there. Would someone here be kind enough to explain to me from scratch how to play on a LAN? I mean, is it just a matter of connecting the Ethernet cable to both PCs, opening the game I want to play—let's say, The Forest—on both, creating a game on one and searching on the other, and that's it? Also, although I know this is a bit off-topic, does anyone know of any single-player games that can be played on a LAN or split-screen with mods? Something like Dark Souls? And lastly, could you recommend any 2-player LAN games with a story or missions?

Extraction shooting games, single player offline

Could it be that STALKER just isn’t for me, or should I push a bit further into the game?

Well, if it were another game I probably would have just uninstalled it already, but the truth is I’d really like to get into this saga, so I’d like to hear your opinions first. Anyway, I watched a few videos of STALKER Gamma and since I wanted to play it I decided to try the original trilogy first to get a feel for the gameplay and immerse myself in the story before moving on to Gamma. Right now I’m playing STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, and honestly I’m not sure if I should keep going with the game or the saga, or just drop them altogether.

The first thing I want to clarify (and maybe this is what’s happening to me) is that I came into the game completely blind, with the idea that it would have an open world like Fallout, with locations and a large, fully open map. I also thought it might have some “extraction shooter” mechanics like the game Zero Sievert, where you have your own room (I imagined maybe in STALKER you’d have your own bunker) in a safe zone with vendors and NPCs, and from there you’d head out into different parts of “the Zone” to encounter factions and NPCs, do missions, collect artifacts, and then return to your bunker to repair and upgrade gear. But maybe that’s my fault for coming in blind.

So I started my playthrough, and I really liked the opening scene—it’s pretty brutal with the truck full of corpses and the protagonist being one of them. I didn’t quite understand who rescues us from there or why he takes us to Sidorovich, or why he helps us, but anyway. When the game gives me control, the first thing I notice is that the graphics show their age, but they help the oppressive atmosphere, and I’m not someone who cares much about graphics so I just ignore that. Then I look at the UI, which I don’t love, but it’s not a big deal so I ignore it too. Finally, I talk to Sidorovich, and he tells the protagonist that he basically has amnesia and should follow the mission in his PDA to maybe recover his memory, but first he has to do a mission for him to pay back part of the medical resources he used on us. When leaving the bunker I liked how he says things like “good hunting.”

I go to the tutorial mission, choose the option to attack with the AI, die several times until I get the hang of combat, rescue the target NPC, then loot everything and sell what I don’t want. Then the main mission sends me to a zone that’s a bit far, and since the path is blocked I do some side missions to earn money and buy an MP5. After several tries I assault the bridge and kill the bandits, then move on to the next zone and continue the main mission. Now, turning in side missions to Sidorovich feels too far away and I get lazy about going back. Plus, since I managed to take down the military (the enemies of the main mission I’m on now, I think it’s about retrieving a document) fairly easily on my own, I don’t see why I should go all the way back to keep doing side missions. Honestly, the world doesn’t feel satisfying or expansive enough for me to keep exploring. Am I missing something, or is this game just not for me?

I wanted to give more details, but I think this summary covers it. Thanks, and sorry for my poor English.

[REQUEST]Any relaxing driving games?

I need a relaxing driving game. I just want to put on some music in my headphones and drive for a while on an endless road with beautiful scenery. The problem is, all the games I find are either racing games or simulators, and the closest ones are still stressful, either because the speed keeps increasing without you being able to stop, or because there are so many cars on the road that you're almost forced to crash. To give you an idea, the Android game #drive is almost perfect; it has beautiful scenery, but it's designed so that sooner or later you'll crash without letting you brake and stop the car. I'm looking for something like this game but without so much stress. For example, on PC there's Keep Driving (which has beautiful scenery) and The Long Drive (which has endless driving and, although it can be stressful at times, you can still relax). Thanks, and sorry for my bad English.

How much of a sandbox is Stalker Gamma?

I was recently thinking about starting with the original Stalker trilogy and then moving on to Stalker Gamma, and I was wondering how much of a sandbox game Gamma is. From what I understand, the original trilogy consists of games with a main story and more defined objectives. I suppose you can explore the open world to some extent and do side quests, but ultimately you can fulfill the protagonist's main objective and then it's off to the credits. Now, how does Gamma handle this? From what I know, in the game you're "an NPC," meaning the idea is that you don't have a main objective as much as you do what you want. But how true is that? Does it still have a main mission with a clear ending, or is it very much a sandbox game, like "I don't tell you anything, I just drop you"? (like Kenshi)

Also, if someone could summarize a bit how the world and gameplay of Stalker work, I'd appreciate it. (To give you an idea, I love the Fallout and Metro series.) Thanks, and sorry for the bad English.
