Eastern Tennessee is beautiful
I took the photo this morning.

I took the photo this morning.
We have a dumpster in our yard for a bit. The people working on the house are all locals and know that it’s illegal to feed the bears here and are strict about no food in the dumpster. We have two trash cans and all items that have absolutely zero trace of food go in the dumpster and anything with food or that had food gets hauled to the dump.
I have boxes used as I didn’t want the power cords dangling down unsupported from the wall. What would you recommend for supporting everything? I was planning on having a starlink router, Linksys router, nvr that would be somewhere else but is just here for ease of setup, cameras hardwired to a switch, raspberry pi running pihole and homebridge but looking at switching to a Mac mini once I can get a good price on one and a Lutron light hub. I have another POE switch that I most likely will use eventually and may get additional hubs if needed.
I was looking at getting shelves installed as I figured that would be the cheapest and most secure way to install things and not place them right up against the back wall so I can have room to route power and Ethernet cords.
I don’t have it angled right but it captures all around the house. I’ll have to adjust it when I have time and a ladder.
It is right next to the router (just one wall separating it and about 5’ or less from the router, I wish I could have gone Ethernet with it) and has multiple electrical outlets, the cats have their own door to get in when the closet doors are closed, has room for storage and I can build a shelf above it to store things like old cat beds or other stuff. I have a nice wall on the other side that will allow me to mount a camera up there if I want to (I’ve got two spare cameras from different brands).
The only issue is I have to setup my robot upstairs for a while as I just moved today and my cats are too afraid to leave my room and go downstairs.
He likes to open cabinet drawers and sleep in there. He grabbed a roll out of the packaging and shredded it to make himself a nest.
The first two pictures were taken like 20 minutes ago. The last one I took last night, he wanted me to give him his goodnight hug (then claw my hands and face).
He is a baby lion cub, born Feb 17th at Zoo Knoxville. I took these pictures today. He is in the lions indoor public viewing area and has a backstage area he can go to. His parents are outside and have a separate backstage area they can go to. They had to separate him from mom so he would survive, he is the only surviving cub and he had to be hand raised as his mom had nursing problems. He is under great care by very experienced keepers, his dad had to be hand raised too
I didn’t have anything to scale but I used an iPhone 16 for scale and the iPhone measure app. I do know bears are in the area and have seen bears on the drive up and one walking by on a trail cam but I’m not 100% sure what the footprints are of. Mom had two cubs last year so they are too big for the tiny prints unless she had more cubs? Or it could be a coyote or a larger cat?
The bears were cute today. I also went to Dollywood last night and saw the bear topiaries (I was going to post a picture but the sub rules say real bears only) and on the way home I saw a bear cub get close to the road but turned back thankfully.
